This was a nice experience. There was a good mix of people on the boat and a lively crew! They were fun and attentive. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Amazing tour! Meet up point was easy to find and tour guides were great. Felt very safe and well taken care of. The spot you stop at to swim is very beautiful and lunch is yummy

This tour was great! The guides treated everyone with excellent care. Always making sure everyone felt ok & food was great. Snorkeling gear available to use when stopped as well as kayaks!

We had an amazing time on the sunset catamaran cruise. The staff was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome from start to finish. The sunset views were absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening on the water. The food, drinks, and music were all excellent and added to the fun experience. Everything was well organized, and the crew made sure everyone had a great time. If you're looking for a fun and enjoyable outing with incredible views, I highly recommend this sunset cruise. Chute, Johnathan, heriberto. Randy we're well prepared for us, accommodating us in every way needed. Even with a child on board, they were fishing on the boat as well which almost had a catch. Had a few bites but didn't hook. Great cove to swim in and snorkeling, kyack, and just swim. They have the noodles for floating, and life vests, lunch was right after we were all done swimming and heading back in, and they played what ever music we wanted, which was bpm party music and drinks on the boat, both non alcoholic and mixed drinks were delicious. Thanks for the fun times guys

The experience was great. You meet at the beach, take a small boat to catamaran. Then snorkeling, food, then sunset.

Overall the boat was organized, safe and enjoyable. We are glad we did this tour. However regarding the main activity- snorkeling- you are mostly on your own. ‘Too many waves, so we cannot help this’, ‘The fish are near rocks but don’t go there’. So we were left with hardly any snorkeling at all. But the ride, music and drinks were fun.

This was not an enjoyable excursion for two reasons: (1) the “captain” was drinking and flirting with the girls on board, leaving the “job” unattended. Safety was an issue for us. (2) the “captain” made a couple of derogatory comments about LGBTQ+ passengers on board that did not sit well. Overall, not recommended. There are safer options to book from. Not worth the $$$

It was beyond our expectations! The crew was amazing, the food and snacks were refreshing and the assortment of drinks was great for all ages. Would definitely go again! The sunset was surreal!

We had a great time. Seas were big and a two out of ten did not feel great but the crew were friendly and took great care of us. Seeing the land from the ocean was amazing. Came back just in time for sun set!

This was a really fun and chilled way to spend an afternoon. The staff on the boat were really attentive and the food was some of the best we had on a trip like this during our 3 week stay in Costa Rica - and we did quite a few. We were lucky enough to see some turtles, the sunset was amazing and the time to swim in the ocean was perfect. We had a little one with us and she was well taken care of and considered too, despite it being more of a grown up activity.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise. After boarding the boat, we were welcomed with a cocktail. The drinks were plentiful and the music was great. We were with our family of 4, 18 year old and 15 year old. They both had fun as well. The area we swam in had a bit of a current so you needed to stay close to the boat. My son and husband made the swim to the beach which was a bit more difficult than they expected. The food provided on the boat was amazing. The banana bread was worth the entire trip.

Staff friendly and boat clean. Lovely food and lots of drink provided throughout tour. Wouldn’t recommend for families with small children as got a bit lively, however for adults it’s great. Good music and lively atmosphere.

We had a great five hours on the water with Blue Dolphin last week! My husband, young adult sons and I all had a fantastic time -- great crew, good and views! We would definitely book with Blue Dolphin if we visit the area again!

The food and drinks were great. The weather from the tropical storm had the water not clear enough for snorkeling. I wish they would have had some life jackets instead of pool noodles especially for people like my husband that can’t float. One pool noodle was not enough for a muscular man that can’t float. I didn’t even have one for very long because I went with my hubby back to the boat and some guy grabbed mine and his and took off. But overall it was a good trip.

Great experience with great hosts on the Blue Dolphin tour. Plenty to eat and drink and fun music along the way.

We had a great time! Drinks were fabulous and food was delicious :) we did not see any dolphins, but cannot blame the guides for that.

This was an incredible excursion. All of the staff on the catamaran were funny, great and very helpful. I highly recommend this excursion. My husband and I are already planning another trip to Costa Rica and plan to do this excursion again. The lunch and snacks that was served were great. And — all you can drink was included. ❤️

We had a great experience on this catamaran boat tour. The hosts were very nice, fun, and accommodating always making sure you were enjoying yourself. The views were pretty, lunch and drinks were very good, and sunset was beautiful. Highly recommend!

People are very friendly, & always wanted to make sure we were ok, always made sure we had a drink whenever it was a soft drink or alcoholic drink! Would do 1000/10

This was my 15th trip with Blue Dolphin! Each trip has been incredible; great food, amazing crew, beautiful snorkeling, and yummy drinks and don’t forget the banana bread.

Wonderful day. The crew was wonderful. My husband and daughter has a wonderful snorkeling experience and I hung out on the boat and relaxed. Lunch was great and the sunset fantastic. Book with this company and you won't be disappointed.

Awesome experience! The guys running the boat are experts and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The lunch spread was so yummy. I’m a sucker for the black bean dip and the banana bread. They had alcoholic drinks as well as non- alcoholic. We had ample time to play in the ocean (offering pool noodles, kayaked, snorkel gear, etc) before boarding up and heading back.

We had such an amazing time! The crew did such a great job making sure everyone was always taken care of and had drinks if they wanted them. The music was great as well as the food. The wind was a little strong the day we went so the conditions weren’t as good for snorkeling but I was still able to see some cool fish! The food was great as well and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering booking it.

My friends and I had an amazing time! The location was easy to find and the team briefed us before preparing us to leave. The crew was extremely helpful and kind. Jonathan and the captain were great! They put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our time. When we arrived at the beach, they helped all 5 of us swim from the boat to the beach! This was of our first time in Costa Rica and blue dolphin gave us an unforgettable experience!

We had a great catamaran experience with our two boys (18 and 15)! The boat ride itself was awesome, and during the stop you have the option to stay on the boat, snorkel near the reef, or head up to the beach. We chose to snorkel and saw a stingray near the sandy shoreline, lots of puffer fish, sea cucumbers, colorful tropical fish, and even an eel! The tour guides were very kind and the music was enjoyable and not too loud, which we appreciated. Lunch was very good, and the homemade banana bread was absolutely outstanding! It was quite wavy on our trip and a couple of other travelers did end up getting seasick but the crew was quick to respond and very helpful to them. Great excursion!

So much fun! Great boat ride, fun swim stop, and the best lunch I had in Costa Rica! Captain Alex and crew make sure you are taken of, and the drinks are great! Sunset was magical!

A wonderful adventure was had by all in our group. The fun vibe and friendly crew were great. We snorkeled and swam, then returned to a delicious meal! The food was a highlight for sure. A crew member even gave me the recipe for the yummy banana bread! The return at sunset was the perfect ending to an amazing day.

So glad we went with Blue Dolphin!This catamaran is a great size and not host to an overwhelming amount of people. Chute, Gustav and team took great care of us with drinks and snacks and a delicious buffet of food. The spot they take you to for swimming and snorkeling and a beach walk is also not overwhelmed with people like we’ve experienced on other similar trips. They have pool noodles, snorkel gear, paddle boards and kayaks to use. The sunset ride back was the topper.

Chute, Koca and the rest of the crew showed us a FABULOUS time aboard the Blue Dolphin. This tour was well suited for families or those not looking for a wild spring break type of party. I appreciated that this catamaran was a bit smaller than the others we saw. They took us out to a beautiful remote area near a beach, gave us pool noodles, fins, snorkel gear to check out the coral and swim back and forth to the beach, all drinks (including alcohol) were included. They also had a paddle board and kayak for those how wanted to try it. The music and vibe were fabulous/. They served excellent food (we are vegan and the black beans, salad, fruit and chips were solid) and the omnivores had Chicken fajitas and some banana bread they were raving over. I'd go back and take other visitors in a heartbeat!

Amazing experience! The crew were super helpful and attentive. The dinner they served was incredible and it was pretty cool to see the pacific sunset from the boat. My only feedback is we did find it a little long to be on the boat without much to do and could likely be shortened. Overall a great experience!

We had an amazing time on the Blue Dolphin Catamaran Tour! The crew was very friendly and provided us with delicious drinks and snacks throughout the day. Once we anchored one of the crew members hopped in the water with us while we snorkeled and took us to where the fish were. The boat itself was great as well! Well maintained and very comfortable with a lot of room to lounge, relax and even dance. And to top it all off we saw a couple of whales during our tour too! Don't hesitate to book a tour with the Blue Dolphin, it was an amazing experience!

We had an amazing time. The boat was way less crowded than some of the of the other cruises we saw on the water so you could actually move around. The guides were wonderful. They kept our drinks full and the food was great. One of the guides went out snorkeling with us and made it a point to show us different fish and things we wouldn’t have spotted on our own. They even pulled in a massive red snapper while we were out there! Definitely recommend this experience.

The Blue Dolphin crew was great from the start. They greeted us promptly and directed us to a spot in the shade to wait. Aboard the catamaran drinks were waiting and flowed throughout the whole trip- alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We had about an hour and 20 mins to play in the ocean and then had a delicious lunch provided by the crew. Would highly recommend, especially since it’s a smaller boat!

I have been in Tamarindo for the last month with friends and family joining at different times and took a number of tours but the Blue Dolphin has been hands down my favorite and my guests. The crew and captain are so attentive, kind and interactive (feel like dancing- they are happy to salsa with you!). We also met other lovely travelers of all ages on the cruise. The food is lovely and prepared nightly by one of the crews mother and the banana bread is a MUST. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
