We are down here for an intimate family wedding and the boat accommodated our entire group. The crew were exceptional, and the food and drink was great. The snorkeling, swimming and scenery. We’re extraordinary. Highly recommend. Great to book if your family group is large enough.

Amazing charter with Blue Dolphin Sailing. Great crew, lots of fun, and smooth sailing. We had a party of 11 and we sailed in the morning from 8 - 12 noon. We got on at Tamarindo beach, which was an 8 min walk down the beach from our hotel. That was so much better than getting in a van for an hour ride to Marina Flamingo where other catamarans are docked. It was seamless sailing. We went out to a private cove where we snorkeled, swam, and hung out on a private beach. It really was a standout experience for our friends to hang out on the catamaran. We had a few drinks during the morning, and really enjoyed the smooth sailing. It's a must do as you get to see a different side of Tamarindo and the wonderful CR coastline. A great 4 hour cruise. We wanted to do it again!

So much fun. Jonathan & Chuti (hope I’m spelling this correctly) were perfect hosts & made us feel at home. Super relaxing & lots of water toys. The best (geriatric) party boat outing this group of 50-year-old women could hope for. Highly recommend. 🔥❤️🌊🍍

The management handled all our pre-tour requests and questions promptly, coordination was flawless, and crew was outstanding. We plan to go back to Costa Rica regularly and will definitely plan to do the tour again. Great group to work with.

Great trip, lots of fun and amazing food.

Amazing experience! We had a relaxing and fun day today. Chute, Pablo and Gustavo took great care of my family of 9! They supplied us with drinks, music, food, and safely got us to and from the beach stop. We relaxed, snorkeled, floated on a raft and there were other fun things to do. Lunch was yummy. Try the banana bread!!! The sunset was gorgeous and we all had a perfect day!

What an amazing experience! From start to finish what an amazing crew and time. We booked a private tour with our group. Our crew included Jonathan and two others and they were all awesome! We connected to the Bluetooth speaker and got to play our own music. They had snorkels, paddle boards and kayaks. Delicious tacos for lunch. Open bar all day… was the highlight of the trip. We watched the sun set as we sailed back to the beach and one of our group members dropped her sunglasses in the water. Two of the crew members even tried to dive down 30+ feet and retrieve them. Don’t forget to tip the boys they deserve it!

These guys were awesome we had the best time! Food provided was super good, was a great way to spend my mom’s birthday with our group of 9 from 6 years old to 60!

We had an incredible time with Blue Dolphin Private Catamaran Tours! Our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kiddos ages 3 to 8) took a private morning tour and it was hands-down one of the best things we did on our trip. The crew—Chute and Gustavo—were total legends. Fun, professional, and so good with the kids. They made sure every single one of us had an amazing time. The tour lasted 4 hours, starting with a scenic cruise where we spotted sea turtles and even dolphins! That alone would’ve made the day, but it just kept getting better. We stopped at a beautiful private beach where we snorkeled, floated around, explored the shore, and soaked in the pura vida vibes. Back on board, breakfast was waiting for us—fresh fruit, burritos, banana bread, and pretty much any drink you could want. (Pro tip: ask for Gustavo’s special if you're in the mood for something spicy, zesty, and dangerously delicious!) The boat was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group. The whole experience felt luxurious, but the price was shockingly affordable for a private tour of this caliber. We genuinely wish we had another week just to keep cruising with these guys. Chute and Gustavo were fantastic. They had great food ready for us and made sure our drinks were full for the whole tour. They were wonderful with our kids, and the family had a great time all around. Green turtles and dolphins were a hit witj everyone. We highly recommend taking the trip with them and would absolutely come back amd see them again!

Our group of 7 had an amazing time taking the morning cruise. The crew made us feel right at home & we had plenty of drinks & yummy food. Loved the time to swim & check out the beach. Highly recommend!

First, let me commend your team for their patience. We had a miscommunication with the departure time, and the team sprung into action to make sure we did not miss the sailing. We had an amazing time on the Blue Dolphin. The crew was lively, engaging, and did everything with hearts to serve. People were dancing, talking, tanning....there was something for everybody! The drinks were flowing, and the food was delicious! Everyone had a wonderful time.

We did a private catamaran tour, and it was the highlight of our trip. Alex and Gustavo were amazing hosts, and made the experience so fun!! I highly recommend booking with Blue Dolphin.

The tour was a bit closer to 4 hours (1/20/25). We had a lovely time the crew was friendly and attentive! The breakfast and snacks that were provided were awesome!

Just got off a morning excursion with Chute, Pablo and Roberto. They couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating and made sure our group of various ages had a great time. After a quick safety review on shore at the meeting point, we went out in a small dinghy to catch the catamaran. On board, we got some additional information to keep us safe and comfortable and off we went. We enjoyed plenty of drinks and some snacks on the cruise out to the cove where we jumped off and snorkeled to shore. They were equipped with lots of sizes of fins so everyone could go. The snorkel gear was clean and in good shape. I don’t think Costa Rica is known for its snorkeling but it was perfect for our group. Then we were treated to a spread of fresh fruits, granola, banana bread and croissants. As an added bonus, a fresh tuna caught on the trip was sliced up for a sashimi treat. Incredible! Great way to spend a morning in Costa Rica.

The morning half-day trip was terrific! The crew (Homberto, Chute, and Pablo) were highly attentive and friendly. We caught a mackerel tuna on our trip out. While we were enjoying our snorkeling, the crew fileted it and had it as part of our breakfast spread to enjoy. It was delicious! We would highly recommend this trip!

The view was amazing. We did swimming in the ocean. Didn't see fish in snorkelling but it was still fun. The crew was very helpful.

We had a great time! Homemade banana bread, fruit, and fresh sashimi were such a treat. The crew was super friendly. There were 8 of us on the boat and we all had a wonderful time swimming at a private beach with snorkel gear, paddle boards, and pool noodles. Highlight of the trip!

We enjoyed booking a private charter without a crowd of people. The boat captains were friendly and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were great and the kids loved kayaking and playing on the splash pad.

We had a family vacation in June 2024 and rented the Blue Dolphin for a sunset cruise. The crew was ready for us when we arrived, so no delay. They were able to adjust the dinner (swap flour tortillas for corn for our gluten allergies). The boat was in great working order, crew was friendly and safe, and the food was great (especially the beans!). We enjoyed the private beach they took us to for an hour, the boat ride there and back. Would definitely book these well-prepared, friendly boat crew again.

We had a great time sailing (motoring) up the coast. The captain and crewman were wonderful. We had a great swim in a nice cove. The sunset was beautiful. The food was excellent. What else could you ask for?
