This was, by far, the best ATV excursion that we've been on (and we've been on quite a few in various places). We were not rushed and stopped every so often to watch and listen to Howler monkeys and saw one of the biggest snakes that I've every seen (and I live in Mississippi lol). The place is actually a rescue and sanctuary for various monkeys so we were able to see other types of monkeys as well, some in very large enclosed habitats and others just hanging around.

There is little description about this activity and we saw different tours going through Playa Flamingo and other areas, but this one has its own grounds located close to Diamonte Eco Park (which also has atv's). This course is pretty challenging and really fun. You will get dusty and dirty, so make sure you bring a gaiter or bandana, or purchase one at their shop before you ride. The atv's were all good and new and the guide (Miguel) was awesome. You will get a water break...and you will need it. Other than not knowing where we were going and the tour time change at the last minute (we were scheduled for 1pm and then changed to a 215 pick up from the hotel), this is the atv tour to take for people who want to do atv stuff. If you want to ride an atv through the city, go somewhere else. I highly recommend this tour for those who want a true atv experience.
Excellent throughout… Timely pick-up. Perfect ride, highly recommend. Friendly staff and enjoyable time.
We had an amazing time with Jose. We drove for 2 hours through trails and hills, seeing everything from monkeys to horses and cows. We stopped at a beautiful waterfall and then drove through a small river! We got very dusty (they provide a facecovering!) and had such a good time.
Our guide was nice and helpful. A little slow but still fun. Good for families with kids and those wanting a slower experience.
Tour was awesome, customer service was exceptional, - MUST DO excursion, Miguel our guide was perfect, great guy . Highly recommend- Patti Buffolino
I loved it it was fun and it was rainy season so I got stuck in the mud but the guide pulled me out 🤣🤣 I also like to flipped in at the waterfall but that was my favorite part!! I had fun
Our guides were very good and stopped to point out monkeys in the trees. No issues with hotel pickup and drop off. We had 6 riders with 2 guides which seemed appropriate. One guide in the rear to make sure we didn’t get lost on the trails. They provided a break with water. 2 hours was plenty of time to ride.
Alonzo was fantastic Well worth it! You get dirty too. Would do again Saw nature. Saw animals Learned a lot too
Completely disappointed. We do ATV's all the time in US and hoped for a beach ATV just like in the pictures or probably ATVing in streams and waterfalls.. instead, we got dry rainforest, farms and burnt terrains.
Was a workout maneuvering the ATV through the hills & got dirty as expected but was fun. Just wish there was a place to put cell phone in for individual riders like the double riders vehicles to take pics of us, scenery, wildlife etc. Luckily someone was able to take pic & airdrop it
We had such a great time! Kevin was awesome. They picked us up and dropped us off. We would definitely book with them again.
This was a great adventure, very close to our hotel. Tour driver and ATV guide were both fantastic. We had a private tour just for our family and it was awesome! Nadine from Bill Beard was awesome in helping to organize this day trip. Highly recommend - our kids loved riding the ATVs - everyone had a blast!
All of the tours arranged by Bill Beard's went off without a hitch. Sloth tour, ATV, whitewater rafting, hikes, ziplining. Private transfer from Liberia Airport to La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano and back was well worth the price
Had a fun time with our group of 7. We felt safe. You Definitely get dirty. You are able to put belongings in a locker. Super fun!
The guides are fun and funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The equipment is good and you ride for a long time.
The dry forest is one of my favorite places in the world. I can no longer hike to get where I want to be, so we wondered if this tour would be appropriate for us. I e-mailed and was told that yes, we should bring our binoculars and would enjoy it. But all we did was churn through the dust at 20 mph. The guide didn't point out anything - and with the speed and the noise, no one would have heard. The advertising is completely wrong, terribly misleading, and the experience was awful. I was not expecting waterfalls in March or many animals at 11 in the morning, but there were beautiful trees we whizzed by without notice.
We had an amazing adventure on the 2 hour ATV tour. We chose to do the double rider option. The check-in process was seamless and the staff was very helpful getting us ready for our tour through the dry rain Forrest. Be prepared to get very dusty on the trip and if you can wear sun glasses under your googles to prevent the dirt from getting in your eyes. I do not want to spoil any surprises but bring a towel just in case. The ATV tour was one of the coolest excursions we had during our trip and we would highly recommend it. Pura Vida
Arriving at the beach and spending a few minutes there before going back was the best part. The receptionist, a young lady, is not polite and does not inform you of waiting time or what to do. She seems to be bothered by any questions she is asked. The guides are great but our machine broke and needed a new battery in the middle of the trip. All the ATVs have seen much better times and have many hours on them. The trip is very dusty so I recommend wearing a mask or facial cover and gaggles they provide. Overall a decent experience but nothing great. A bit pricey when compared to other ATVs outside Guancaste. Saw a few monkeys but no other special fauna or flora. Groups are treated as cattle to be pushed through as fast as possible so another group can go next. But that seems to be the norm for Congo Trail and Diamante. They won’t advertise as such but those are the places you end up at when you purchase on line. There are no waterfalls to see since there hasn’t been rain so ask ahead of time.
I took my sister to Costa Rica for her 50th Birthday. We decided to take a tour on the ATV's and it was so much fun. The ATV's have plenty of power and the trails were fun and invigorating. It was a great way to spend our morning and also see a lot of the beautiful scenery around the area. The puddles were fun too.
Congo Trails was very well organized. They even picked us up. I enjoyed going through the water and seeing animals especially the monkeys! I did lose my cheap sunglasses, so be careful with your belongings.
ATv through the rainforests and ocean was beautiful. The guides were extremely helpful knowledgeable and the view was gorgeous
We did a family tour which included a 20y.o., 15. & 8y.o. It was such a fun time!!! Everyone enjoyed! The scenery is gorgeous, driving the ATV’S on rough terrain is lots of fun. Little farm with rabbits and a couple of Sloths. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful- just the nicest of people. Our tour guide was the best- nothing was a big deal!! Looking for a great family activity-go for it!! You won’t be disappointed!! Excellent experience! Thank you!
Favian was a great guide and gave us a choice of where we wanted to ride. We saw a variety of different terrain including riding through rivers, which was super fun. Ended up being a private tour with just me and my boyfriend. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!
First time riding a ATV! Went over how to ride and work the machine before take off. Very adventurous! Takes you to a beautiful stunning beach! Well worth the money. Got to see monkeys at the end :)

The tour was good and challenging. Very adventurous

This was very fun and the tour guides that led us on the trail to the waterfall were great. We rode on a trail part of the way and through river beds and rocks. We saw a beautiful waterfall and stopped to take pictures and then we rode back. All was great and this was the best part of my trip. I really liked this ATV ride. Also, where we started we got to see the monkeys, which was great also.

My wife and I really loved this excursion! It was about 2 hours of ATV time 1 hr in each direction and we traversed many small streams and saw some howler monkeys on the way too. Our guide Luis was great and made sure we were well informed before we started and felt comfortable on the ATV. We both rode individually and were glad that we did. The waterfall halfway point is pretty small but still a nice place to rest before heading back. They provided water at the break which was nice. Also on the premises is a cool souvenir/snack/drink store and many white faced monkeys that are tame and all over the place! Shuttle service from our place in Playa Hermosa took about a half hour and was great van with ac. I'd do this excursion again if we came back.

This tour was amazing from the beginning to the end. Very professional service and a exceptional tour. Upon our arrival, our group selected the Jungle Tour the other selection was the city tour. If your into adventure, this is a great tour. You will ride through muddy paths and see beautiful jungle views. The water-fall was amazing, so wear a swim suit. You will get very dusty, so don't wear any good clothing. Highly Recommended and the price is great!

The tour was amazing, we had a good and patient guide. My kids loved it, I would highly recommend you try it!

This was a good ride. It is guided, which is helpful because we wouldn't know where to go, and it crosses many muddy obstacles. It goes through a small rural town. The best part was getting to the waterfalls. All in all, I'd do it again. I only didn't give it 5 stars because my group did so many adventurous things in Costa Rica that this seemed a bit casual for me. Still though, I'd do it again.
