We just returned from this property. Everything from the room to the grounds to the staff were phenomenal. The property would just be a property if the staff does not deliver and boy did they deliver. They were engaging and happy to be there. A special shout out to the incredible hard working staff of Cocina del Mercado where every meal was perfect. When it was time to depart I felt like I was leaving a family reunion. I will definitely return!!
Our stay at W Costa Rica exceeded every expectation and was truly a game-changing vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely able to relax. The property is absolutely stunning, with incredible views, beautiful rooms, amazing pools, and a perfect balance of luxury and fun. Every detail made our stay feel special, but what really sets this resort apart is the people. The staff went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Isaac, who was absolutely exceptional. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help with anything we needed made a huge difference. He consistently went the extra mile and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. If you’re looking for a destination that combines breathtaking scenery, world-class amenities, and outstanding hospitality, W Costa Rica is it. Stayed at the W Costa Rica - Reserva Conchal and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The modern architecture, stunning ocean views, and beautiful infinity pools are incredible. The food and drinks were excellent — fresh, creative, and consistently good across the restaurants and bars. Staff is on point. The only real downsides for our family: All the bars are open-air with no air conditioning, so it gets pretty warm and humid in the evenings. Activities for teenagers were also limited — there’s only one small kids’ pool, and not much else geared toward older kids. That said, it’s still a fantastic luxury resort with great service and an amazing vibe. We’d definitely recommend it, especially for couples or families who want a stylish, relaxing beach getaway with excellent food and views. Our stay at the W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a peaceful paradise. The resort is incredibly quiet, relaxing, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The food exceeded our expectations, with delicious options throughout our stay and consistently great service. Whether we were by the pool, at the restaurants, or simply enjoying the stunning surroundings, everything felt thoughtfully curated and luxurious. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape where you can truly recharge, this resort is an excellent choice. The only minor downside is that getting in and out of the resort can be a bit complicated since it’s located within a gated community, so spontaneous trips off the property require a little more planning. That said, once you’re there, you’ll probably find very little reason to leave. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, upscale getaway in Costa Rica.
My family of four stayed at W conchal reserva for 4 nights while in Guanacaste. I would say that the prices are high, but the service and ambiance was incredible. My son got sick and they have a doctor on site, who was very nice, did a thorough exam, wrote everything down, prescribed meds and we paid for it to be delivered. Food prices can be high. Our stay did not include breakfast so we had to pay $42 pp if you want buffet. There is also al a cart option available, but my recommendation is to mix it up by going out so you are not eating at the resort every day/night. Also, the resort offers live music and activities and several pools. We saw many wildlife including howling monkeys while walking down the path to the beach which is a gorgeous beach. We walked the beautiful beach both directions. You can walk to Brasilito and sunset was beautiful if you can catch a clear sky! Outside of it being a bit on the pricy side my only other feedback is adult pool side upgrades are much needed. No umbrella that moves or tilts so you are pretty exposed to the intense sun depending on where you’re sitting. Overall I gave it a 5 first and foremost for the kind people who provide service at this resort, its gorgeous location, amenities, authentic live music and food and drinks.
