I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—everyone was attentive, friendly, and professional. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
We love the Diria, have stayed there numerous times. Excited to see renovations taking place , look forward to upgraded accommodations. The staff is wonderful, Carlos, Jacquin, Randall, David, Bernie, Brenda, everyone treats you like family. We did miss having Naomi at the Diria this trip, she is such a joy. The customer service is wonderful!
We stayed here 8 days had 2 ocean rooms. . Stunning view only , no hospitality or informative front desk. Front desk kind of no help and rude. They forgot to send a ride to pick us up from airport we had to get our own rides. Breakfast start 7 Am means if u want cup of coffee at 6:50 nothing is available. When we checked in they gave us bracelets and card but no explanation that card is for poll towels. Restaurant staff are nice but not front desk. This hotel doesn’t not even provide ice water by their lobby even the weather is always humid & hot. If you requesting towel and extra blanket that means 2-3 calls to front desk. It took them 2 days to clean the coffee cups in one of our rooms. We had a tour and they told us you need to request breakfast to go the night before which we did and in the morning nothing was ready . They said front desk forget to send order to kitchen so we had nothing to go and since we were snorkeling we had no food until 2 pm that we back . When I mentioned to the guy he just said Sorry !
This is the best place to stay in Playa Tamarindo. The facilities are well kept, the staff is friendly and always willing to help you, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. We booked an ocean view room and it was so convenient to go to the beach and back without having to worry about valuables. Also we booked a surf class and had a blast with out instructor. The hotel has 4 restaurants and a really good Gelato place . The beach vibe is incredible and you feel protected. They even have a designated person to help you cross the street to either go to the other part of the hotel or to visit other stores or restaurants. This is an amazing place to stay with your family.
The resort is verify nicely situated by the water. Although our room was across the street from the main building and dining area, it was very convenient. A security guard was at the crosswalk helping pedestrians get across the busy street. The resort is well laid out with areas available to sit in the grassy area on chairs provided by the resort. There was a great ocean view from that area. There was also a dining area you could sit at while watching the waves crash towards the beach. The sunsets at this resort were the best I've ever seen. The food on site was very delicious and well prepared. The portions were of good size. The only negative i observed was that it appeared they were under staffed. Therefore you would wait to get someone's attention and very rarely hear much follow up from wait staff after initial contracts or after food was served. Please improve this aspect to make it a 5 start experience!
