Hilton San Jose La Sabana

We stayed here in 2024. It was more expensive that other comparable hotels, but it advertised a rooftop pool. On check in we were told this was close and no compensation was available. The room was good, but we felt ripped off. Very unusually for Costa Rica, most of the staff weren’t helpful. I tried to reach out to the hotel a number of times but never got a substantive reply. Stay somewhere else. San Jose has better and cheaper hotels.

Stayed here two nights when we booked a tour in CR. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a coffee maker, plenty of outlets, soap, shampoo, and lotion. Breakfast offered many choices. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as they allowed us to check out late without a penalty. They even stored our luggage since we had a late flight. Close to restaurants (Santo Pecado was delicious) and a Fresh Market that sold convenience store items. Highly recommend.

I reallly enjoyed this hotel and the views were stunning!!!! The hotel is located about a 15 min drive from the airport. The hotel starts on the 18th floor and overlooks the stadium. You have everything you can need near by. The star for me was that bed. It was so comfortable and the Panoramic views from my room was great. The bar tender Luis was very personable and the front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful. You have a covered parking garage and none hotel restaurants right out front and a nice park to take a walk. The grocery store is a 5 min walk outside the hotel as well as the bank. This hotel put you in the heart of everything. Extremely clean and definitely worth the stay.

Great hotel. Very clean and pretty. The room was beautiful and comfortable with a great view and a great shower- hot good water. The breakfast was the only thing that could have been better.
