Norberto took us on a beautiful drive with his knowledge to go along with us. Every stop was part of our tour that came with much knowledge from Norberto and made it fun at the same time. He gave us a decent amount of time for our free time and gave us the best recommendation to have lunch at as well, LA CUEVA DON CENOBIO RESTAURANT, it’s an old Hacienda smack down in the middle of the little town but you wouldn’t know it because it’s covered by its own walls. It just made our day after just sitting and enjoying a delicious lunch in such a beautiful town. Afterward we walked and explored the quaint town that made me feel like time has not touched it. It was a full day that’s for sure so pack your patience and energy. Don’t miss this tour with Norberto.

Excellent tour, we went to 2 distilleries, sampled many tequilas, made some new friends, had a fun day. I would have liked a little more time to explore the town of Tequila, but I can always go back on my own. This tour was easily worth the price.
We had an incredible experience with Panoramex Tours and Travel and our guide Hector. At first we were a little hesitant to book the tour through a company instead of directly with the hotel, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. Hector took amazing care of us from start to finish. He was professional, friendly, and made the entire day smooth and enjoyable. Transportation was comfortable, everything was well organized, and we always felt safe and taken care of. He made the trip to Tequila truly special and helped make sure we had a fantastic experience at the Fortaleza distillery and throughout the town. His knowledge, kindness, and attention to detail made the whole tour feel personal and memorable. If you are considering a tour in the Tequila region, I highly recommend booking with Panoramex and asking for Hector. You will be in great hands.
Our experience was great, very informative and interesting, our tour guide was funny and the driver was great, I would definitely recommend this one to everyone Thanks again it was a great time
Our experience was top shelf from start to finish. First, the convenience of being picked up at our hotel and right on time started off the day on high note. Our guide Hector was so amicable, educational and so accommodating. We were the only couple that spoke only English but he explained everything for us and always made us felt included. Learning about the whole process of making tequila from start to finish was enlightening and gives you a greater appreciation for the spirit. Next up was to try refreshing cantaritos which was a really fun stop at Cantaritos Amititán Che -Che. The following stop at Mariscos Al Carnal brought our small group closer. We shared food, laughs, and even some danced. Then we finished the day off with free time to explore the beautiful town of Tequila. We had enough time to explore a bit, grab a bite, and watch the high flying Danza de Los Voladores in the town center. It was just the right amount of time dealing with the crowds and dodging the tequila mobiles that wind through the narrow streets. It’s a very charming town and what I appreciated most is that even though we were approached by tour operators, there wasn’t the intense sales pressure I’ve experienced in other tourist destinations. Overall I’d give the whole experience 5-stars. And also what a tremendous value the whole day was. We got so much for our hard earned pesos and we truly appreciate Hector for making our day unforgettable.
Great experience to learn about tequila making. They gave you some samples to try. Then you get to go into the actual little town of tequila and explore what it has to offer. The best part was our tour guide Sergio Novia. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with any questions we had. Highly recommend
This is the company to go with. I elected to take the Spanish tour to practice my language skills and Daniel, our amazing tour guide, was super encouraging and helpful in making sure I could keep up with the rest of the group. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel in a comfy van with AC. We stopped at a completely traditional tequila distillery where I learned the difference between silver tequila all the way to extra aged tequila. We stopped at a cantarito to get our classic clay cups and then had an excellent lunch at Tequila itself. At no point did I feel excluded, and I’m so thankful Daniel masterfully established a welcoming environment that everyone enjoyed. An amazing value for an all-day experience. 100/100, A+, take this tour in English or Spanish and you’ll have a great time!
The tour guide Sergio was really nice he explained how all the production of making tequila and very nice they pick you up at your hotel and drop you off the only bad thing it was crazy traffic to pick everyone up would have chosen a pick up and drop off in one spot next time
Tour was very informative, we learned a lot about the tequila making process and tasted some awesome high quality tequila. Lunch stop was just ok, food was overpriced and they could not get my meal request correctly although I explained it to the waitress in Spanish. We had 2 hours in the town of Tequila which was a little long for 4 block tourist area. Drive back in traffic took about 3 hours! Overall I would still recommend this tour.
Carmen was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Carmen did an excellent job explaining the distillation process in the making of tequila.
It was a long fun day. Loved the Don Elias distillery tour. Lunch was good but at a remote place with nothing to see while eating. The town of Tequila wasn't much but loved the sign and got great photos there. I think having lunch there on your own would have been much better. 2 hours wandering around vendor tents was too long. Lots of driving but still a fun time.l Traffic was awful but that's not the drivers fault
José Luis was our guide and he was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the tequila process. We had kids with us and Jose Luis was patient and he even helped us see some horses that the kids had been wanting to see during the tour. Would definitely recommend.
The tour was very nice, I learned a lot about a tequila process and visited both semi-artisanal and very commercial distillery (Jose Cuervo+300$). Definitely worth the day, tried a lot of nice tequilas and tequila cocktails. The atmosphere in Tequila town is also very impressive. The tour guides did everything they could to make the trip as memorable and as educative as possible. Would recommend!
The tourist guide, Carmen was excellent and kind. The tour included a bottle of water and was never given to us. The wagon driver Miguel was good but sometimes drove negligently and carelessly. The route of the excursion was fine but we spent too much time at the Tequila town.
Great tour to learn about the Tequila process. Hector was a great tour guide as well answering all our questions and providing us with all the facts we needed to know.
Carmen the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Her professional make this adventure unforgettable. We felt very safe with her and the driver
Our tour guide was Jose and he was fantastic. He was informative and patient. He would say everything in Spanish and English for the whole group. He was happy to answer any questions and was pretty funny. The tour is an all day experience. Highly recommend.
Book now! Great price, awesome tour guide! The guide was energetic and fun. Did the tour in both Spanish and English. Very knowledgeable and efficient
Enjoyable tour , good information, I had no clue taquila making was such a process, pleasant tour guild and driver , was picked up exactly at the time scheduled
Great tour! Our tour guide Carmen was very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. We learned a lot of great history and tasted plenty of delicious tequila along the way. The pick up and drop off was great and we never felt rushed. We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone.
The Tequila tasting in the way was fantastic. Some of the nicest tequila I've tasted in Mexico (so ever - Mexico obviously has the best tequila).
We enjoyed the tour. Carmen, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. : ). The tour was very informative and the air-conditioned van was comfortable. The driver was also very helpful. We would take another tour with this company.
We picked this your for its clarity and description and it delivered to its promise. We all enjoyed a full day of fun activity. Hector was our tour guide and he was an amazing guide.
Overall a good day visiting Tequila and a tequila distillery along the way in spite of a couple of hiccups regarding pickup. The tour was with pickup at our hotel, but I wasn't asked where my hotel was and wasn't provided with any information about it until I wrote and asked about it. On the day, the pickup was somewhat late, so I was left wondering whether we had been forgotten.
We really enjoyed the day trip to the blue agave fields, and the craft tequila distillery, and time to stroll around the town squares in Tequila! Our driver Jose was wonderful and we sincerely appreciated that he could give us the distillery tour in English. He is very knowledgeable.
The tour was very well organized and I appreciate that they picked me up at my Airbnb. The visit to the Don Elias distillery was very informative and fun. Also enjoyed the lunch and ample free time in the town of Tequila, so we could roam the central plaza, local markets and take pictures of the historic streets near Jose Cuervo distillery which is beautiful and incredibly well preserved.
Hector was a great guide and explained everything very thoroughly. I love my experience and I am going to definitely recommend him to the public
It was a fun itinerary and small group made it nice also. We made several stops for food and special drinks and of course a stop at a tequila factory and tasting and explanation of the process. The stop at the town of Tequila offered many cultural things to see and experience in the plaza and outdoor market The Jose Cuervo plant is a nice place to visit on the Main Street which offers a video of the process. This town has restaurants, museums and shops. It was fun!
The tour was fun and informative. The tour guide Sebastian and Miguel the driver were the best! We had lots of fun, we highly recommend this tour.
a relaxed tour that wasnt packed with itineraries. tour guides were friendly and provided good service and information throughout the tour. just to take note that the pick up time stated on the website differs from the actual pick up time (ie: website stated 10am however when chatting with the helpline on whatsapp they said 9am) good job to Carmen our tour guide and Martin our driver who got us around safe and sound.
Karen was very knowledgeable and gave a description of the history of tequila with the manufacturing process. Martin is an amazing driver with a very good sense of humor.
Carmen was amazing 🤩 ! Tour expectacular Will defetnely do IT a gain ! My family was very happy with the whole tour
What a excellent tour! And a real bargain at about 40 bucks. Our guide, Carmen, was just the best. Narrated the tour both in Spanish and English. The stops along the way where well thought out. The tequila distillery tour was, I think, the height of the trip. What's to do in the town of Tequila. And make sure you sample the tequila ice cream!
Carmen was a great guide. Everything went perfectly from confirmations to drop off. They were early for estimated pick up time. Went to first small distillery to learn and have 3 tastings then went to stop on the road for clay jar cocktails. Photo op of agave fields, donkey, swing, horse. Drive into tequila for 3+ hours of free time. Jose cuervo tour optional might not be worth it since the first stop taught you everything. Lots of shops, bars, stalls for food, drinks, items. Depart at 430p and 3 central stops for exit.
This tour was amazing! Our guide was so fun and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Guadalajara.
My brother and I went on the one day trip to Tequila, visiting an artisanal distillery and Jose Cuervo. We traveled in a huge Sprinter van, which was comfortable. When we got to a roadside stop, the tour guide told us we were eating here because the restaurant in Tequila didn't have space for us. So we ate street tacos for lunch. This was disappointing. Tequila is a nice little town. It would have been nice to eat there and have more time to explore. The distilleries were great. Lots of sampling and more than sufficient time spent there.
Dear Viatoros: This trip was a GREAT value for us! Certainly the ambiance of the boutique distillery and the charm of the Magical Puebla Tequila. After a week in Guada, doing El Centro, Tlaquepaque, Tequila, Lake Chapala, & Zapopan (Basilica de Nuestra Señora - UNESCO site), this tour was an unexpected delight! That is because....Carmen was the differentiator! She rocks with awesomeness! She made us laugh the whole way there. Since I understand Spanish, I laughed when she alternated her explanations and delivered the punchlines en Espanol also. We pulled her aside for some 1 to 1 chats and she is has lovely soul. Muy bueno Alma! She even went out of her way to help us track down Tequila ice cream in Tequila! She's the best! Team Karezoo (my wife and I) will do another tour with this company next time we visit Guada so we hope to see Carmen again soon!
Hector was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He planned our tour around what we wanted to do and see. He spoke English very well and explained how Tequila should properly be consumed and enjoyed. The tour van was comfortable. We were made to feel welcomed. The town of Tequila was interesting. The distillery was very nice and the tequila was great. Whereever we went we felt safe. Even though we clearly did not appear native to the area we never felt out of place. We left with a much better opinion of Mexico and the Mexican people than we brought with us. Thank you Hector!
Our guide Ronny and driver Danny did a wonderful job with our group. Ronny was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We highly recommend this tour.
Good trip with Hector and Daniel to Distileria Selecto then to Cantaritos Ruta 47 for great view of Tequila Volcun and blue agave fields, then a nice lunch with great view of the town of Tequila and the surrounding mountains then a stop at Joe Crows (Jose Cuervo) in the town of Tequila ( place of cutting as lot of obisidian) in the area around the volcanoes , then free time in Tequila town until 5 pm.
Tequila Route Experience Guadalajara We have an unforgettable experience! 903737717 I highly recommend the Tequila excursion with Ronnie. One of the things I liked most was that we happened upon people, from our tour guide Ronnie, who has had experience working with agave (the fruit from which tequila is made) since he was a child, to the friendly people who were with us in the bus (all ages and from all countries). I loved that he spoke both English and Spanish perfectly. Ronnie took us to two tequila factories, one of which belonged to José Cuervo, and we had the opportunity to see all phases of the production process, as well as sample over 6 different agave products (4 types of tequila and 2 types of liqueurs). We also tried the typical cocktail of this region - the cantarito, and we had time to eat in a pub, from which you could see all the greenery of the town, and to walk around the village of Tequila, where again for quite reasonable prices we bought cantarito and artesian ice cream. Perhaps one of the best parts of the excursion was the warmth and friendliness of the people. For all heavy drinkers out there, this one is definitely not to be missed and will make you appreciate tequila in a whole new way
They let you know your itinerary once you head out. Jesus was really good & very knowledgeable. Loved this trip and I would do it again!
Beautiful day and a very comfortable tour through the tequila region. Hector was especially accommodating and knowledgeable. We got the whole van even though there were just 4 of us. Next time well invite a couple more.
We had an amazing trip with our guide Hector . We did a private trip in a big comfortable van. Hector was the ultimate guide. Very accommodating, Knowledgeable and patient! We visited two distilleries had a wonderful dinner with a great view. Can’t wait to book another tour with Hector .
Our group of 4 had a fantastic tour of Tequila with Norberto. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We toured 2 distilleries and learned so much about the process of making tequila. The taste testing was awesome. I highly recommend.
**AMERICANS and all to AVOID THIS TOUR ** Lets start off by saying that the tequila was a joke. We were told that we would be doing actual tequila drinking tour. The bus showed up considerably late 45 minutes. Note that bus picks up other passengers and therefore you are under the mercy of other late passengers. We spent the beginning of the day waiting for late passengers. After a full bus load, we headed to the town of Tequila. At the end of our tour took 0ver 10 hours from start to finish . AVOID this at all COSTS. Our first stop was a small side drinking establishment on the side of the road (nothing was covered as part of the tour). We stopped there for almost 35 minutes (' as people stopped to drink hand prepped tequila drinks and potatoes chips with hot sauce. It was uneventful. After that we headed into the town of Tequila. We went to an tequila factory where they gave us instructions /education on how tequila is made and provided tiny amounts of tasting of 4 tequila and 2 sweet tequila mixed drinks ( temrindo + pineapple tequila) . Very uneventful. We then trekked our way to an expensive Resturant called Casa de Souza, This was the tours first trap. The food was uneditable and the tour guide left our group there for over 40 minutes without checking in with us. Our group was lost as the tour guide said they will be back to pick up for the Jose Cuervo tour. After almost losing lost time - we find our tour guide who walks to fast to the Jose Cuervo distillery. With the promise of tequila tasting, this tour did not include tasting as noted with the orange wristbands. We were told that they had issues of getting the English tour for us and therefore handed us blue wristbands. After the Jose Cuervo tour ended - we had only less than an hour to return back to the van were waited aimlessly for other passengers who were late to callback time. What made the entire trip horrible was that the company had afflictions with road vendors and made several stops to these vendors. Total waste of money. The tour guide company did not want to refund our money. This was a waste of entire day.
The experience was amazing, I truly think our tour guide is what made everything so great! She was funny and extremely accommodating.
Ronny was a good guide, picked up in private transport for a small group, was there for any questions but also let us experience/explore on our own. Visited a smaller tequila operator (many samples included in the tour) and the town itself.
Excellent service, with guides of the best quality (Norberto, Ronny, Miguel, and Edgar). 100% recommended
Everything was very good, the service was excellent from Hector.
