Our guide was changed the list minutes, also per our trip we were to visit Tonala,and ajiji which we didn't visit either places , felt we were more in the car battling traffic, became a very tired trip then an enjoyable one ..

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had on this tour. Just the perfect blend of guided sightseeing and free time to explore on our own. Our guide, Samuel was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was also a very kind and accommodating person. The vehicle was comfortable and spacious and we saw alot. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover places OUTSIDE of Guadalajara proper. Highly recommended. We had a large group of 10, 4 adults and 6 kids. Very friendly and always attentive with our individual needs. First off, our guide Samuel was absolutely amazing. He was super accommodating and knowledgeable about all the places we went to. He told us where all the highlights of the towns were and dropped us off to explore, we never felt rushed and were able to see everything we wanted. He went out of his way to accommodate or make stops if needed. It was a pleasure to ride around with him and check out all the beautiful sights and cities. Carlos was a very nice man And a good driver. However he spoke very little English and fortunately I could do all the translating. But for Viator to call this a tour is ridiculous. All we had was a driver and this was no tour. Way overpriced for a small taxi and no explanation of anything.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour and our tour guide, Samuel. We were visiting from Northern California and staying in Guadalajara. Our goal was to visit Chente's tombstone and we also got to see a bit of Tonala, Chapala and beautiful Ajijic. Samuel was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He gave us plenty of time to walk around, take pictures and eat something at every stop. He picked us up at our Airbnb and even dropped us off at our relatives house which was an hour away! He also does a tequila tour that we didn't have time to do but let me tell you we'll definitely reach out to Samuel again next time we visit Guadalajara. Samuel even extended his services and picked us up after hours from a different location the following day when we knew it might be hard to catch a ride back to Guadalajara, so needless to say we felt very safe and comfortable with him. We took a chance on this tour with zero reviews. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for one day to get to know the areas outside of Guadalajra. Samuel, our guide was extremely knowledgeable in areas we visited and provided a wealth of information to accompany the tour and things to do on our remaining days here. He was extremely flexible on the time spent for each one of the sites and even offered to stop off at the pharmacy for my wife. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guadalajra.
