Square Small Luxury Hotel - Providencia

The rooms are Nice, Great Location. The management has changed. Nothing works! The Wifi, Coffee Makers, the room safes. All Broken. Manager is the worst a Machismo Hombre that’s aggressive & argumentative. You want help? You wait hours & the Manager yells at when questioned why is taking so long. We checked didn’t feel safe.

The rooms were very nice and spacious, especially for the price. The staff was friendly, the entire property was clean, and we loved the daily agua fresca—it was delicious. The location was also convenient and made getting around very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

First time here at this hotel showed up at 2 am from our flight in. The rooms are different very clean spacious not cluttered lights every where in the bathroom which is great for when you get ready. They have a safe for your personal belongings. Enclosed out door patio attached to the window. Great taco stand directly behind the hotel, park, bakery on the right hand side on the next street. Have juices everymorning in the lobby which they have glasses for you make sure you take your glass so you can come back for more if you want later on. Small gym on the top floor which is breakfast with a pool and sun deck. Have a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel downstairs as well but never been. Have an awesome coffee shop/vegan when leaving the hotel to the right right before the xoxo and across the street from the bakery and meat market. Will definitely be back 1000%. The fire extinguishers look like trash cans so dont throw trash in there. Apologies

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If you’re lucky enough to get a room facing the street, you might have a decent stay. But the room I was given on the right-hand side had no natural light at all—just a wall outside the window. It felt like walking into a cave, which made it impossible to enjoy spending any time in the room. If you only need a place to sleep, maybe it works, but otherwise I wouldn’t book it again. The bathroom also had issues. Every time I took a shower, the water leaked out and spread across the entire floor, making the space uncomfortable and messy to use. Basic amenities were disappointing as well. There were no slippers in the room, and when I called reception, I was told I’d have to wait until the next day for them. The bathrobes were extremely worn out and even torn, with the loops for the belt broken. They looked old and poorly maintained. Parking was another problem. I have an SUV, and I was told to park on level minus two, accessible through a very narrow spiral ramp. My car didn’t fit properly, and I ended up scratching and denting it. On top of that, no one offered help with my two large suitcases, which I would expect at a hotel presenting itself as four-star. Breakfast wasn’t great either. I ordered a latte, and it tasted like regular coffee with warm milk. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, especially considering I’ve stayed here before and the quality has clearly gone down. I won’t be returning.
