Jw Marriott Hotel Guadalajara

Stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip and really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was immaculately clean, the service was fantastic, and the food delicious. We hosted a work event in the meeting rooms, and even the locals that joined us commented on how their enchiladas were the best they ever had. The executive lounge was definitely a bonus for us, as we were able to relax, work, drink coffee, and during the evening, enjoy speciality cocktails, appetizers, and food. The rooftop bar was empty most nights but a beautiful place to enjoy a drink. The cleaning staff left my room absolutely spotless and organized every day, it was much appreciated. I am booked again soon for my next work trip and looking forward to it. My only recommendation is to try to get some kind of spa services available in the hotel, I think your clientele would greatly appreciate it!

The JW Marriot in Guadalajara is a very nice hotel with friendly staff, but I believe it does not meet the standard of a five star brand. I stayed in a regular room with a king-size bed. It was clean and had adequate amenities. I had the same experience as many others with failures in room temperature and water temperature control. AC stopped working over night creating an uncomfortable sleep overall. Showering was also a gamble. I had to keep the temperature barely above cold to avoid scalding hot water. When you miss on fundamental hotel functions, as they have here for three years running, there's something seriously wrong. That being said, there are positives as well. The breakfast buffet was very nice. There were a variety of entrées offered. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. The gym on-site was a little better than average and was kept clean and well maintained. I never set foot in the executive lounge, which was closed for the entire duration of our four day stay. Based on other reviews I've read, it doesnt sound like we missed anything. The hotel is nice and many will have a nice stay, however if you are a frequent traveler and are expecting a five star JW Marriott experience, you should skip this one.

We were very impressed with our stay in Guadalajara. The JW exceeded our expectations in all areas including the friendly front desk staff and concierge Christian who assisted us in booking restaurants. The hotel amenities were JW quality including a wonderfully equipped fitness facility. We were exceptionally impressed with a last minute transportation booking to the airport with a quality provider in a fine vehicle. We will return.

We recently stayed at JW Marriott Guadalajara and our experience was exceptional. From arrival to departure, every single team member treated us with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. I especially want to recognize Ruben (I didn’t catch his official title). We saw him daily, and each time he greeted us sincerely and provided outstanding service. His consistency and authenticity truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The hotel itself was so clean. Our room and all common areas were well-maintained. The level of cleanliness made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. We had breakfast each morning at Agave, and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the room service exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delivered with the same care and attentiveness we experienced throughout the hotel. But what really stood out to us was how comfortable we felt. Sometimes in high-end spaces, you can feel out of place or judged based on appearance. We’ve experienced that before. But here? Not once. We were treated with the same warmth and respect as anyone else. That level of inclusive hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you to Ruben and the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return.
