The team at DEA were very professional. We had an issue with the cart we reserved for the day. They very quickly helped us to get it swapped out quickly and got us back to enjoying our day on the island.
Service was fast and friendly location was easy to find. Gave detailed map and directions to local attractions and beaches.
Book with confidence!! Don’t overpay for the excursions and rentals inside the cruise port. Daniel had us set up and ready to go RIGHT outside the cruise port gates. So easy. I will suggest, go for the golf cart. They run stronger than sxs plus had Bluetooth connection to play music while we rode around. Go to the lighthouse, downtown, check out the beaches
Jeefy met us in a shared rental lot just beyond the port parking lot. Just look for the buggies that have “DEA” on the hood. He and his 2 other guys were fast, friendly and had us sign an agreement and security deposit - and on our way - in about 2 minutes. They shared a map and had spots of interest clearly marked. Was a super fun day and experience. Thanks guys!!!
Well, other than having to go outside of the Ports Gate to get the buggy, it was GREAT! We had ordered the Trail Master GTV but was convinced to take the gas operated Golf Cart instead. It did the job we were looking for. Great day on island.
What a fantastic trip. The operator was very helpful, kind and cooperative. The vehicle we had was fabulous! People commented on the engine sputtering but that is simply the speed limiter on the engine which prevents you from going over a certain speed. I would completely do this again
The UTV was broken down. They said their only option was a 6 seat golf cart. That cart had issues so we had to turn back. They had no other carts available so our options were to take a car they had or get a refund. Given it was the day of our trip and many places were booked we did not want to risk losing all transportation so we took the car. I would recommend renting from another company to ensure you get a golf cart and would recommend renting a cart and not a car.
The machines were much smaller than expected. The competition for other options at the port were a third less than what I paid. Not very happy with this booking.
We had an awesome time exploring Grand Turk! The buggy gave us the freedom to get off the beaten path and find a quiet beach to relax. Just know the UTVs are used and a little worn, but they did the job and added to the island adventure vibe. If you’re looking for a fun, easy way to see the island, this is a great choice! If you’re looking for a laid-back, adventurous way to see Grand Turk, this is definitely worth doing!
Smooth and easy to pick up and return for the vehicle. They were super helpful with directions and suggested itinerary. Vehicle was waiting for us as promised outside the cruise port. However, the UTV was painfully and embarrassingly loud and I was worried it could damage our kids ears. Think loud lawnmower. My Apple Watch kept warning me about excessive noise. The muffler may have fallen off half way through because it got even louder at one point. Next time I’d get a golf cart. The only reason I chose the UTV is because it could let the kids sit facing forward. All that said, I have no complaints about the service, and it is my own fault for choosing this particular vehicle. I’d recommend the company. One suggestion is to warn customers about the noise when booking.

We rented 2 UTVs and 2 golf cars, but when we get to pick them up, they change our UTVs for 2 golf cars. Initially we get disappointed but they gave us 2 new golf cars and we had a good time on the island.
I guess I had higher expectations for this than the 200CC clown car they give you. Honestly was afraid it was going to fall apart, which the muffler did fall off causing the buggy to be insanely loud. Honestly great company but save your money and just do a golf cart. Easy pick up and drop off.
During our visit to Grand Turk, we decided to rent a UTV to explore the island, and overall, it was a great experience. The UTV handled the terrain well, allowing us to easily navigate the different parts of the island. We appreciated the convenience and the freedom it offered, making our day full of adventure and fun. However, one downside was the noise level of the machine. The UTV was quite loud, which took away from the otherwise peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the island. If I had to do it again, I would opt for a six-seater golf cart instead, as it would likely be a quieter and more comfortable option. Despite the noise, we still had a blast exploring Grand Turk. The UTV rental was a good way to see the island, but if noise sensitivity is a concern, you might want to consider a quieter alternative.
Our family, with ages ranging from 23 to 81, had the opportunity to explore Turks and Caicos with DEA Trailmaster UTVs, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! My elderly parents, who both have multiple hip and knee replacements, were a bit unsure at first, but the DEA rep made everything easy and enjoyable right from the start. The UTVs provided were sporty and fun to drive—much more exciting than your typical golf carts! We were met by a DEA rep with fully fueled UTVs, maps, and good advice on how to make the most of our day. His respectful and polite demeanor set the tone for a great day of exploration. We had the freedom to explore the island at our own pace, thoroughly enjoying the breathtaking scenery, a delicious lunch, and even some time swimming. The best part was knowing that my parents, though exhausted by the end of the day, were in good hands. The DEA rep went above and beyond by offering to drive them from the pick-up site back to the front of the port, ensuring that they could stay with us as long as they could match the energy of the rest of the group. Although I don't have his name, whoever was working on August 20th is truly a gift to the company. Many blessings to you, my friend! Your kindness and professionalism made our dream vacation even more special. We will definitely recommend DEA Trailmaster to anyone looking to explore the island and will gladly use their services again in the future.
We rented a UTV, and by no means is this a true UTV. It was very small and very loud and hard to turn. It was literally a child size one. We had it less than an hour due to could not even talk to my wife sitting next me! Now their golf cart looked nice and were gas powered so my recommendation would be if you’re going to rent anything. Rent the golf cart and stay far away from the UTV!!!!
The UTV Buggy was a lot of fun for the 4 of us. Way faster to zoom around the island than a golf cart. The all-terrain wheels and suspension helped when we wanted to explore off the beaten path. Definitely louder than a golf cart, but we didn't mind. Super helpful company host that explained the island with a map and everything. We thank you!!
Rent a golf cart , they're faster and quieter..got stuck on the first beach we went in and its loud for no reason lol
We enjoyed it and the gentleman checking us in was very nice and helpful. They said you had to weigh under 160 and it was pretty small just not made for larger people
Grand Turk is such a beautiful island. The utv was perfect roof protected us from sun. Comfortable ride. Exploring on our own was really easy getting around and enjoyable
We had a good time exploring the island using the UTV, it was an easy process. The island is more expensive to see things and purchased items which was surprising but over all we enjoyed the rental from around 9am until 1pm.
Daniel was great! We unfortunately were unable to actually experience the ATVs for the day while in Grand Turk because I had gotten food poisoning the night before. In turn Daniel was amazing and was so kind to refund us the money for our reservation at the last minute! If we get the opportunity to go back to grand Turk we will absolutely reserve with Daniel and his company again! Thank you so much for being so generous and understanding Daniel!!
Short walk from the port, the gentleman waiting for us were excellent. After a quick orientation to the golf cart and a map of the island with handwritten notes and suggestions for lunch we were off. The day was glorious, we explored the island and stopped at several locations for beach play or a quick snack and some drinks. Overall a great day and wonderful experience! Highly recommend this company!!! If you are over 6’5” it may be tight. I’m 6’4” and it was a squeeze to get in.
The first machine felt like it was going to blow up at any time and the tires were warped. The speedo didn't work so you couldn't follow speed limits. And it was rigged to stay in gears maxing out really slow. Brought this back and was charged 10 for "gas". Asked for another machine and the guy said he didn't speak English. Yet gave us instructions in English, so I made him call his boss. Boss said to give us a golf cart instead. Which by the way we drove 1 mile down the road to beach and it was also in awful condition. We turned around to return this and it was stuttering RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. I was worried we were going to make it back. The guy tried to charge me 10 for fuel saying we have to have a full tank. This is THE BIGGEST SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Sad to say that I was quite disappointed with Viator on this one. We had to hike over half a mile to get to the location to rent our UTV. My daughter and wife have problems walking so this was not good to start, yet ALL of the other vendors were renting their vehicles in the parking lot next to the cruise port. I rented a UTV because I was expecting some power beyond your typical golf cart. I was warned that the engine is loud but I figured the extra power would make up for it. However, we never could get it past 20 kph, and that was only when going downhill. I finally looked at the engine and it is only 200cc. My dirt bike in high school was 250ccs, and this has 4 people and a frame and seats for 4. Golf carts were passing us going up hills! My kids rented UTVs in the Dom. Rep. & they were 1000ccs, which is what I was expecting. Plus the brakes were nearly nonexistent - a few times I needed to slam on the brakes because of other drivers either trying to ace me out or cut me off, and the brakes were simply pathetic and very dangerous. Strangely, it cost $30 more than a golf cart, so you'd think that you'd get more, right? WRONG!!! It may be difficult to trust Viator with a similar rental in the future.
Honestly these are not made for adults, at 6ft 2in tall I could barely get in let alone drive. The UTV as must have not been in the best working conditions because it sounds like it was going to give up at any moment. The island is beautiful and it's worth renting something so you can explore but not a UTV from this company.
We paid twice as much as the people just walking up. Aside from that, 2 of our bookings were cancelled which I suppose was a good thing in the end. The cart we had was so loud and slow. We couldn’t keep up and it back fired the entire time. Rent elsewhere for less and so much better carts.
What an excellent way to see Grand Turks. The vehicle was fun to drive Pick up and drop off was easy and the rep was knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed this and highly recommend it.

We were so happy to have booked this through Daniel. I was going to go through our cruise ship but decided to book it ahead of time. Daniel met us just outside the cruise gate. He was very responsive to informing us of the best ways and spots around the Island. I would do this again for sure! Thank you for a pleasurable time on Grand Turks!!!!
The vehicle they applied to us was old and needed to be retired The gears were not working, and the seatbelt were not properly functioning. First priority should be safety and not just a sell a product. Please vehicles need to be tested daily, As we exited, the port people were saying that the company does not even exist. I’m not sure if that was the competitors or just people try to sell the products either way, not a good experience.
Easy to find and had a great time driving all over the island. Drove to lighthouse and governors beach and Jacks restaurant, easy to drive and all of us really enjoyed it!! Would do this again.
Had to ask around at the port for where to go but no problem. Daniel just outside the gates. Had a lot of fun in the cart. Hardly any traffic -just a lot of donkeys! Cart is very noisy but quite comfy and allowed us to stop off at various beaches. The island is very small so easy to get around and see it all. Lots of other buggies around so very friendly. Definitely no need to pay for a tour - though cart was expensive for what it was!
The entire experience was great. The men that checked out our vehicle, Daniel and Robinson, were so helpful and friendly , we recommended them to family who are cruising next month. Renting the 4 seat UTV from D.E.A. was the best experience we had on our trip. We got to explore Grand Turk on our own, at our leisure. Traveled to both ends of the island. Met friendly locals, fed the donkeys, went to several beaches, and had an awesome time.

Great being able to go everywhere on the island at our own pace. The vehicle was awesome and easy to drive.
Easy to find, very professional and kind. The Polaris was perfect for my younger kids because it sat lower to the ground and had a 4 point seatbelt. It effectively got us around the island and went faster than most golf carts that we saw.
Had a great time overall; however our golf cart died as we were driving (we only had it for about 15 minutes). We called and they did have someone come out to find us which was about 30 min later with a different golf cart. That one had no issues, but we were worried then and didn’t venture too far out because of that.
We enjoyed seeing the island. Operator was helpful. Didn’t have the ride we ordered due to mechanical issues but accommodated us anyway. I would do it again.
The vehicles were great and the people we dealt with were fantastic. Great to be able to have the freedom of roaming the island and going wherever we wanted. Much more versatile than a golf cart!
