Great private boat experience. Our boat Captain Omar was great. He drove us around to see the Stingrays and starfish. We also snorkeled on the reef. He was a very knowledgeable and competent boat driver. He let us guide the stops and the amount of time we spent at each one knowing we had to be off the water by 2pm to head back to the cruise ship pier. He also had snacks and beverages for our party of 7. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day on the water. 💦 would highly recommend this excursion.

We had a wonderful boat excursion for our group of 6. Jonathan was our captain for the day and he was very accommodating. We enjoyed stingrays, starfish, snorkeling and finished with lunch at a beautiful beach cove. We would definitely book again!

Simply amazing! We booked a day on a private boat, during a Carnival Cruise, directly with them, no sure excursion. We were picked up when we were supposed to be, and our day literally couldn’t have been better. We didn’t have to wait in those long Carnival lines waiting for anyone. From kissing a sting ray, to snorkeling, this was top notch! There were 7 of us. No packed bus with others. Just us! No crammed boat with others. Just us! The team at Blue Ocean Tours made our day in Grand Cayman amazing, and an experience that we will never forget. They had drinks available on the boat, took us to a great lunch spot, and transported us back and forth in air conditioning. Thanks to Omar, and Denn for an amazing day!

Our family went on a Caribbean cruise. We had made arrangements with Blue Ocean Tours to go on a private tour to Stingray City, snorkeling, and Starfish beach on Grand Cayman . A day before we arrived in Grand Cayman, I received a text from someone confirming our excursion and asking me what time we would be off of the ship, which I provided. When we got off of the ship in Grand Cayman, we asked directions to our meeting place. The information we were provided told us to meet at the Hard Rock Cafe. When asking directions to the Hard Rock Cafe, we learned that it was no longer there. So we went to where the Hard Rock Cafe used to be. I then received another text asking if we were off the ship, which I responded we were and I told him where we were located. He then called me and asked me what touring company we were using? I thought that was a strange question, but I told him “Blue Ocean Tours.” He then said he would call me back. We waited and waited and never received a call. I finally tried calling him, but every time he would not answer his phone. So I called Blue Ocean Tours, someone answered and I told him who I was, he informed me that our tour had been cancelled. I would have never known that they cancelled our excursion if I didn’t call. By then it was late morning and all the other tour groups had left. When I asked who the person was that had been texting me, he told me that he didn’t know. The entire thing seemed very strange.

Great family trip with grandparents and kids. Omar did a great job everyone had an amazing time. Great snorkeling and sting ray city was awesome.

It was a windy day but Captain Dean ensure we all enjoyed our day. Dean found us an area near the shore with stingrays as Stingray City was packed and the water rough with the wind. Our kids 7, 9, and 11 really enjoyed that and starfish point. Great day!

The boat itself is a 24-foot bow rider—perfect for a fun, comfortable private outing. It has a small stern ladder that makes getting in and out of the water easy, especially for swimming and snorkeling stops. Captain Dean (definitely request him!) was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and very laid back. He made the whole trip feel relaxed while still being informative and engaging. You can tell he really knows the area and takes pride in giving guests a great experience. They provided everything we needed: bottled water, soft drinks, flotation vests, and snorkeling gear—super convenient and well-organized. We met in West Bay and visited Starfish Point, Stingray City, and a beautiful reef for snorkeling. The entire trip was private for our group of six (including two kids), which made a huge difference. We specifically wanted to avoid the crowds, and this was absolutely the way to do it—no rush, no chaos, just a fun and memorable family experience. The trip lasted a little over 4 hours, which was perfect, but they were very flexible—if you want more time, just ask. Omar handled all the communication and was excellent throughout. He stayed in touch leading up to the trip and even helped reschedule to avoid bad weather, which we really appreciated. One extra tip—if you’re staying on the East End (Rum Point area), you can request pickup and drop-off there. It’s a great option that saves you from having to drive all the way to West Bay. All in all, a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely book with them again.

Dean was mellow and kind. He shared lots of facts about the stingray with our family. (Parents and two teens). We always felt we were in good hands and Dean never rushed the experiences. That was a tricky feat given that the wind was rough at times and we had busy spring break boat traffic. Dean moved the boat to get us the best spots and it made for a memorable family outing.

We had an incredible day! Dean was a fantastic tour guide. He made sure we were safe with the sting rays and the timing of the trip was perfect. We were so thankful to have our own boat and guide instead of the catamarans with 100 people. We would recommend this trip to anybody. It was the highlight of our cruise.

Boat was too small for activity planned. Windy weather made journey much too rough, and we had to turn back after very poor conditions. Distance from Marina to destination too far for this experience.

Absolutely perfect day, Sting Ray City, snorkeling, Starfish Cove and Rum Point for lunch. The boat was clean, well stocked with various drinks. Omar was very kind, read the group well and modified for preferences.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on the water. Omar, our captain and ceviche chef, picked us up and dropped us off at the end of the day. The adventure was most memorable, complete with holding starfish (don't lift them out of the water) that became living suction cups. Our snorkeling spot was sublime. The mingling with stingrays was more than I expected. We held them, got mini back massages, and planted some big kisses on them. No tongue, though. Next year, we'll have Omar take us out with some business clients.

It was a small boat for 10 people. They were flexible and we petted stingrays and starfish. Had lunch on the beach.

We were very much looking forward to this trip and unfortunately had to cancel along with many other tour companies that day due to high winds in increased wave activity. This company and tour operator have been less than helpful in getting a refund. Apparently they would rather put their customers in unsafe conditions. I would not recommend booking through this company if safety is important to you!

My family and I have hired this company, specifically Omar as captain, for five years in a row and have been extremely happy each time. He is an expert as a pilot and a stingray catcher and has a wonderful, easygoing, humorous temperament. A boat cruise with Omar has become a family tradition. Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 had a great boat trip with Omar. He contacted me the night before to see if I wanted to change the start time to an hour later so the kids could go to the Bioluminescence Bay which they loved. He has life jackets, snorkels, and drinks for everyone. We were able to have as much time at each stop as we wanted. It was great having a private boat for just our family and it gave up plenty of room and places to sit. We left the dock at 4:00 pm and were back by 8:00 pm. See the island at night was a beautiful and relaxing plus.

Dean was our guide and was amazing! He made sure that we experienced each stop to the fullest. He was a pro with the stingrays and watched us like a hawk when snorkeling. Perfect day from pick up to drop off.

Was excited about a private boat trip. The pictures of the boat would indicate it is in very good condition once I’m bored you see it’s a bit weathered. This particular trip it was a bit rocky as we had swells at 5 feet, so we got wet the entire trip out on the way back with the wind everything was fine. The visit to stingray city was great. The visit to starfish point was awesome and our final stop to snorkel was truly amazing with a reef that had more fish than I’ve ever seen in this condensed area.

Tour was completely customizable. However, paying $800 for a tour and then being asked to pay for photos at $125 is ridiculous

Excellent tour to see the stingray city and starfish with no crowds and really enjoyable driver Omar. He knows Grand Cayman very well and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the excursion. We had a great time, the boat was super clean and our pictures were one in a lifetime. Really thank Omar for his patience and timeliness with meeting us and being a great tour guide!

Omar was our driver to the yacht club, and also the captain of our boat. He was very timely, kind, and attentive to our needs. The experience was amazing, but the boat was a little too small for the activity. Still, Omar and his partner did their best helping us in and out of the boat. The lunch recommendation was fantastic, one of the best meals we have had on our trip. Thanks Omar!!!

Highly recommend this private tour! Our guide was Dean. He picked us up and was pur captain. We got off a cruise to spend the day at Cayman Islands. They communicated with us from a couple days earlier to confirm pick up, location, and time. Dean came on time. He brought us to each of the spots recommended on this tour and never rushed us. We told him what time we needed to be back at the port and left everything up to us and how long we wanted to stay in each spot. We absolutely recommend this tour! The stingrays were massive, the starfish was fun, and the snorkeling was great!! The water was absolutely gorgeous!!

Fantastic day. Reasonable price for the experience. Good value for the four hour trip. Comfortable atmosphere with both Omar and Dee who helped with everything and made us feel special. Four of us was suitable amount for us on the boat without it being crowded. Best for an amazing time on water. Thank you both.

Great experience with Omar and crew! We came in on a cruise and he reached out the night before to make sure we were aligned on when and where to meet up to grab transport to take us to the marina. Very flexible and when Stingray City was overrun with other boats and crowds, we went to another nearby location where we were able to have the same interaction with a stingray, minus all the other people! And the water was much calmer which improved the experience even more. Then hit Starfish Point and spent a great hour there, with his crewmate capturing wonderful photos of us at both places. Our group then decided to do lunch (Kaibo Beach) rather than snorkeling, but I’m sure that would have been great, too. We also really appreciated that he adjusted boat speed to the (choppy) water conditions so that we weren’t being bounced around everywhere. He also made sure he knew the cruise ship schedule so we’d be back in plenty of time. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic day with Omar! Definitely worth every penny to do a private charter and beat the crowds. We loved the stingrays, the starfish & snorkeling. It was our favorite day during our vacation and Omar was so accommodating with drinks, food for the stingrays and anything else we needed. We can’t wait to return and book another tour!

This is an absolutely great trip and a reasonable price. The coral is not that great but there is nothing this company can do about it! The stingrays are amazing!!!

We had such a great day with Capt. Chris. Started at Rum Point; while we enjoyed being in the beautiful calm water, Chris worked very hard to capture a stingray for us to see/hold. We enjoyed this far more than Stingray City, which is much busier and crowded. From Rum Point we went to Starfish beach. After Starfish Beach we went to a beach restaurant for lunch. It was a bit crowded so we decided not to stay; our 4 hours were almost up (we spent a lot of time at Rum Point and loved every minute). Everything about the day was smooth; getting picked up by the cruise port/transportation to the boat and back again (Thank you Dean), cold drinks on the boat. He offered to take us snorkeling, but we decided we would rather not. He was totally up for however we wanted to spend our time on the boat. I would absolutely book a private boat with Blue Ocean again! Thank you, Chris!!!

1,000/10. I'm always nervous to choose an excursion but I'm patting myself on the back for this one. Our favorite for hours of our 7 day cruise. I'm so happy we chose a private boat for our family of 7 (kids 18,17,12,10,8). We sped past lots of other packed full tour boats while we had drink and snacks and a nice roomy boat to ourselves. Stingray stop 12/10. Our guide brought us our very own Ray and helped us get amazing pictures with it before giving it lots of squid snacks. Snorkeling stop 15/10. Perfect spot, nice gear. We loved it so much he stopped again on the way back for another dip! Starfish 10/10. There were lots! Don't keep searching- just book this one- I promise!

This was fun and the whole family enjoyed it. It was super convenient to have transportation to and from the Marina. Omar was awesome with the stingrays and let us get the full experience.

Excellent experience with Chris and Ocean Blue Tours. Went to a calmer area on this windy wavy day than Stingray city in order to get hands on with the rays! Fantastic time holding and feeding the stingrays. Then on to Starfiah point to see some amazing starfish. Great pics! Next stop was Kaibo with some great Woodford pizza and adult refreshments. Really a great afternoon. Strongly recommend.

This was a great excursion. Jeffrey was a great guide and really took care of us. The boat was very clean and all seven of us perfectly. We had 3 stops and Jeffery was very hands on and helpful every step of the way.
