Great family fun. Ryan had a ton of good info on wildlife, culture, history and food from the island. Overall a great experience.

AWESOME! Ryan was a spectacular guide with immense knowledge of everything about the Cayman Islands. He personalized the tour for us and made us feel like we'd known him for years. We saw an active Green Heron nest buried deep in the mangroves, probably a once in a lifetime event for us. We 100% recommend this tour!
We enjoyed this tour! No extensive kayak experience needed. We learned a lot, and especially enjoyed getting deep in the mangroves for part of the tour.
This mangrove tour was a highlight of our vacation in the Caymans. Ryan was our guide; he’s incredibly friendly, and extremely smart. We learned a lot, and had a great time! I’m not an experienced kayaker, and Ryan was awesome in offering tips to make sure I was comfortable. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone, and look forward to trying other tours soon (biking).
Fun experience for all ages. Easy to navigate. Very informative and layed back. Great fun way to learn about the ecosystem here in Cayman
Wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable guide! Ryan is so friendly and helpful and super knowledgeable. We kayaked in a safe and beautiful part of the bay and learned a lot about the plants and creatures in the sea. Would definitely recommend
Ryan was amazing. Would go again for the tour.
Great time on the water with Ryan. Really enjoyed his knowledge & passion in exposing us to marine life we would have easily passed by. Highly recommend!
Guide was great! Very knowledgeable and shows us interesting marine life and vegetation. Talked about history and geology too! Weather was windy but equipment was great and easy to use.
Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. He was concerned about what we all wanted to get out of our experience.
Ryan was a great guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly.
Excellent time with Jim. He knew a lot about the plant and animal life. Seeing the fancy homes was an unexpected treat. A double kayak was a bonus for us novices!
This was a fantastic experience! Ryan is so knowledgeable, it was easy paddling and saw amazing nature, iguanas, marine life, birds, plants etc. After the tour we walked over to Morgan’s and had one of the best dinners we’ve ever had on holiday, a lovely experience all around. Highly recommend!
The kayaking trip was really fun and easy. Our guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and personable and we had a lot of fun paddling around and discovering all these critters. A very mellow, good time, would definitely recommend.
This is a nice relaxing tour through canals and around the mangroves. The water was mostly calm so not a lot of hard paddling. Good for beginners. They have 2-person kayaks also. Jim was a fantastic guide. He knows all about the mangroves and seems to really love guiding this tour. He will also take photos for you and has a lockbox to store your valuables.
Ryan was great - extremely knowledgeable and showed us some great sea life.
We had a really great time on the tour! The weather did not entirely cooperate - it was cloudy which made it a very pleasant day to be out but it was also very windy! So we stayed in the mangroves to be protected from the wind. Obviously your experience will depend on what your tour guide is able to find … Ryan was our guide and he was SO knowledgeable about the wildlife there! We found some mangrove jellyfish & got to hold them! Also found some other sea life that Ryan will scoop up in a bowl & pass around for everyone to see! If you are looking for a fast-paced adventure, this is not the excursion for you. But if you want to learn more about the mangroves & its inhabitants while doing some light kayaking - sign up!
Took a two hour kayak tour with Ryan. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of the local ecology. He was able to communicate that knowledge in a personable and comprehensive manner. The kayaking was not strenuous and well suited for those not experienced in kayaking. We would highly recommend this activity.
Knowledgeable guide. See thru boats were sort of pointless since the water is so dark. I expected more nature but we stayed in bay and mostly saw houses.
Ryan is hilarious and so smart, we have done this trip three times and its always awesome. Bring your sunscreen and enjoy a nice paddle.
We really enjoyed the kayak tour. Ryan , our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about all the different types of plants and you could really tell he was passionate about them. He was very easy to talk to. I also liked the fact this was a small group tour and it felt more personal.
A fantastic afternoon spent kayaking around the mangroves and canals. The best part was the brilliant commentary from our guide, an ecologist. We learnt so much about the local wildlife. Highly recommend this trip!
Excellent tour! Ryan was an excellent guide, very personable. Knowledgeable about the ecosystem and local animals. He took the time to show and explain to us what lays beneath the waves in a beautiful setting in the glass bottomed kayak. We felt safe and entertained the entire tour. Small group is a wonderful perk.
Ryan was an amazing guide and indulged my desire to learn all things nerdy and biology related! Explained everything well and was a compassionate and passionate host
Ryan was fantastic! One of our small group is a biologist and the knowledge he shared was fascinating to all of us but definitely connected with the biologist. Was a workout, a lesson on local wildlife and ecology, and incredibly engaging. Would recommend again and again.
Ryan was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide who left us with tons of interesting information about the island, plants and wildlife, making us appreciate it even more. June was a great time to come, we had the tour to ourselves. What a wonderful way to spend a morning in Grand Cayman.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and kind! Interesting little sea creatures and a pleasant morning in the water Recommend!
Ryan (tour guide) was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and showed us so many neat and unique things. I highly recommend taking the time to do this, you won’t be disappointed
The tour guide, Ryan, was amazing, he is so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the island. He took his time, never rushed us and was willing to answer any questions. We were able to see so much that we would have never seen. Definitely a great experience!!
Ryan was a great guide and taught us so many details about the mangroves and the animals that live there. It was the perfect morning on the water. A beautiful day with calm waters and a nice breeze. This was only my second time kayaking and I loved it. Ryan pointed out many things to us that we wouldn’t have noticed, including a sargasm fish and some lobsters hiding along the shore line. We’ve been coming to the island for 30 years and it’s the first time we tried this. Highly recommended.🙂
We really enjoyed kayaking! Our guide was great! He was both knowledgeable and personable and presented us with the perfect combination of the history and ecology of the island during this easy paddle. You will not be disappointed!
This trip perfectly combined the history and ecology of the island with an easy paddle. Our guide was great! Knowledgeable and personable, he made it a great time! We have taken Viator tours many times and have never been disappointed!
Ryan was great. Very knowledgeable and ran a fun tour. Was a nice change of pace to slow down and take a closer look at the surroundings and all that the island has to offer. Our kids 8 &11 really enjoyed the paddle.
We had a great experience kayaking. Ryan the guide was very friendly and we enjoyed the views, paddling and learning about the plants and animals in Cayman. He made it very fun and interesting and we got to see fascinating animals and learn about the ecosystem. Lot of fun.
Ryan was an amazing guide. His knowledge of flora and fauna is outstanding! He is patient and kind with beginners in the kayak. We had a beautiful day and a great time! I highly recommend this outing when visiting Grand Cayman!
Absolutely fantastic! Loved our tour guide! He was so knowledgeable!! Would book again with the same company
Outstanding tour with Ryan! He really knows EVERYTHING about the plants and animals that inhabit the mangroves (along with Grand Cayman too). He has outstanding presentation skills, along with a sharp sense of humor. The kayaks and equipment are in great condition. We had a leisurely paddle with lots to see. One highlight is going directly into the mangroves, where you pull yourself through a "tunnel" using the branches because it is too tight to paddle (not at all scary though). We also did an Ebike tour with Paddle Wheel Adventures that I would also recommend!
Paddle Wheel Adventures are amazing!!! We were so eager to do the naturalist kayak tour but sad to see they were sold out during our visit. We decided to visit their storefront to see if they could accommodate our group of 3. We first spoke with Liam who was so helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and generous with his time. Later that evening, they emailed us to let us know they could make availability for us! We felt so lucky! Our tour guide, Ryan was very informative and answered all our questions, whether about the mangroves, the island itself, the culture here, etc. He showed us unique species and plants hidden among the mangroves. It can be easy to overlook these things but the detailed tour allowed us to learn more about these hidden gems. The highlight was definitely kayaking through the mangroves. We also got to hold a large jellyfish!! You can tell Ryan is extremely passionate and knowledgeable with his work. Thank you for a wonderful tour. It’s a little pricey but if you have a keen interest for these things, I recommend!
Absolutely fabulous. Ryan’s knowledge totally mesmerized me. He captivated my attention from the moment we met. I never realized so many living creatures existed in the mangroves and never in my life have I’ve been in a “glass-bottom” kayak! They don’t leak. 😄. Unfortunately, I was so busy listening to Ryan and looking for all the living organisms on the sides, I forgot to look down! 🤣. Such a relaxing way to learn and to enjoy a beautiful morning in the Cayman Islands!
I loved this tour so much! There were 4 of us on a girls trip looking for ways to get out and explore, and I’m super happy we chose to do this. Ryan was a great guide and gave a great mix of knowledge about the island and wildlife, in addition to recommendations on restaurants and other things to check out during the rest of our trip. I highly recommend!
This was a really cool way to see more of Grand Cayman! We wanted an experience that would help us learn more about the island and see things we wouldn’t ordinarily see on our own! Ryan was very nice and knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was contagious! We got to learn a lot some cool marine life and actually paddle through the mangroves! Would definitely recommend if you like to actually learn more about where you’re visiting!
Ryan was a great guide! He was very willing to cater the experience towards what our group wanted. The waters were calm, and it was a relaxing experience. Learned a lot about Grand Cayman during this.
It was ok! It wasn’t what I expected! We really just wanted to kayak around! Instead we got a nature and marine biology informational tour. Was not worth what we paid! We were drug through deep trees with bugs and spiders just to turn around and be drug back through to get out!!
Wonderful tour with a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. Easy gentle paddle through bays and mangroves. He showed us places and creatures we would never have know were there.
Paul was great helping us work out logistics from getting from Rum Point ( took water taxi to Camana) to the Yacht Club for the tour . Friendly and professional. Ryan , who guided our tour, was a wealth of knowledge from sea lettuce , orchids , best restaurants , key lime pie and use of the red lights by Rum Point . The Kayaks were stable, easy to paddle , fun to look beneath us and extremely easy to get in and out of, especially for the novices in our group . Would highly recommend this company .
Such a wonderful experience out on the water! This is our second time going on this excursion and we learned even more the second time around. Ryan was super entertaining and knowledgable and gave us a great tour :)
The kayak I used looked like a new one with glass bottom. Seeing through it to the ocean bed was so cool. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. That was a fun tourthat I would go back to it. He would just pick up something like Lettuce Slug, Bleeding Tooth Nerite from the shallow area. I got to taste the sea banana! Lastly I learned how to touch and handle the jellyfish without getting stung! Highly recommend this tour!
Ryan, our guide, not only was friendly and helpful but very knowledgeable. Kayaking in the mangroves and learning about the flora and fauna that are native to GC was a really fun and cool experience. If you like kayaking and learning new things book this adventure.
It can be a challenge to entertain college kids on a vacation with their parents…the tour was the perfect blend of family time, information, activity, and completely ignoring each other. Ryan paddled perfectly between parents and kids. The company did a fantastic job keeping us informed prior to the trip and the day of the trip. Highly recommend tour and company.
Originally had a kayak tour booked, but with the wind and weather, we were able to easily switch to an E-Bike tour. As it turned out, this was equally fun if not better. Grand Cayman is out of season so it was just the two of us with our tour guide, Ryan. It was a wonderful tour and Ryan was impressive with all the information, and history of Grand Cayman. The E-bike tour was easy and can accommodate virtually anyone of any age. Highly recommend that you consider this tour when in Cayman.
