Private Fullday Stingray City, Snorkeling, Kaibo Bar & Grill And Starfish Beach

This review is long overdue, but I couldn’t wait any longer to share how fantastic our experience was!The Private Full Day Stingray City, Snorkeling, Kaibo Bar & Grill, and Starfish Beach tour was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it. It was just my husband and me on our own private yacht, and our captain, Javahn, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, fun, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. He even braved the cold water to bring stingrays closer for us to see and found starfish so we could take photos with them. We enjoyed watching the stingrays (though it was too chilly, windy, and the water was a bit too cold for swimming with them) and spotting starfish. As the day warmed up, we had a delicious lunch at Kaibo Bar & Grill, where we relaxed in the sun while watching the chickens roam around. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing day and an absolute must-do if you are visiting Grand Cayman!

Cannot recommend enough! Our first time in Grand Cayman and what a NEAT way to spend the day! So accommodating and informative. We met stingrays, sea turtles, and starfish. Then stopped for lunch. Highly recommend and would love to book again if we come back.

This is our second time taking this tour. We did it 6 years apart! Both trips were amazing and would highly recommend! Swimming with the stingrays is a fan favorite!

Our family of eight adults chartered Family Fine with Island Splash Water Sports to take us on a 3.5 hour trip to Stingray City, snorkeling, and then lunch at Kaibo on the north side of Grand Cayman. When I called to book the trip, I spoke with the owner, Jason, a native Caymanian. He was so friendly and patient, answered all my questions, and was willing to modify the trip to our preferences. I was especially excited to be supporting the local economy by hiring a company based in the Cayman Islands. Captain Alex picked us up at our condo on Seven Mile Beach exactly when promised. The ride to the Cayman Yacht Club was quick and comfortable in their large passenger van. Our boat was so roomy, offered lots of shade, comfortable seating for us all, was stocked with snorkeling equipment, pool noodles, and was equipped with an ice chest already full of water, sodas, and room for our BYOBs. Alex was so friendly, working quickly and efficiently, without ever making us feel rushed. He was a wonderful host, taught us about the stingrays, and even waited patiently while we snorkeled and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. We were delivered swiftly and safely back to the door of our condo right on time. We loved our private boat charter with Captain Alex!!! Interacting with the stingrays was awesome, and as the mom/family photographer, I was glad that Alex made sure we got ALL the pictures :). This was a perfect activity for the whole family - our kids (ages 10 and 11) loved the stingrays, snorkeling, and starfish! And of course they loved tubing too. Kaibo Bar & Grill was a great place for a delicious meal on the beach. It was the best day! Highly recommend!!

What an amazing day on the water!! Captain Alex (Mr. Pain 😂) was so awesome with our kids and very knowledgeable about everything on the water! We tried to go out on Monday morning but we got to stingray city and the waves were just too big. He happily turned around and took us in. It showed how honest and happy to help they were as a company. We tried again Tuesday afternoon and it was much better! We couldn’t snorkel as the current was still strong, but he took us to rum point to try and look for Sea turtles! We had an awesome lunch at kaibo- get the pizza!! And my kids LOVED starfish point. They did not love stingray city and they stayed in the boat while my husband and I went to play with the stingrays. Overall, an incredibly amazing day! Worth every penny!

Luke was amazing! We had such an amazing time on our trip! Luke was kind, funny, and super knowledgeable about Grand Cayman. He really went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best day! Thanks Luke!!

We had a wonderful day with Alex. Love the experience of having a private tour with just the 6 of us. 5 hours was perfect for sting ray city, snorkeling, star fish bay and the lunch/ drink stop.

Always a great time with Travis/island splash. This is our second time out with them. Highly recommend and will always use them when visiting the Island! It was a busy day on the sound so Travis changed order around a little so try to get less crowded area for us to enjoy our experience. Fun swimming with the stingray and seeing the starfish.

Wow. AMAZING. Luke, our Captain was AMAZING. He explained everything, and was super helpful with everyone including the 4 & 7 year old grandsons. Will recommend to anyone interested in a good time on the water. 8 of us can't stop talking about how much fun we had.

Highly recommend doing a private tour with Island Splash Watersports. And because they start at 8:00, we beat cruise ship passengers to Stingray City… there were very few other boats there when we arrived. Loved getting to interact with tons of stingrays and the starfish… highlight of our trip! Travis was fantastic giving us info/history about the island as well as customizing our day and giving us different options. Fantastic day!!!

A wonderful experience overall. Our Captain, Nathan and first mate, Andrew were exceptional. They made sure my boys had a great time from stingray city, starfish point to jet skiing and tubing. A full day experience catered to our needs. Hands down one of the best moments during our trip to Grand Cayman. Thank you!

We had an unforgettable experience! Our day was perfect, beginning with stingray city. Jerome was our captain and he made sure my wife and 4 kids all got to experience the fun and beauty of this amazing place. We were scared at first but by the end I think we were all pros handling the stingrays. Then we headed to the reef for some snorkeling and that was a very different experience than the reefs we saw on 7 mile beach. My 9 year old wanted to see sea turtles so Jerome made sure we spotted some. Then we played with starfish and ended with a nice dinner at Kaiboo. Headed back to docks by sunset and it all made for a beautiful day together as a family. The boat was nice and clean and comfortable. Jerome was funny and informative and patient and kind. He’s perfect at his job and we won’t forget him. Thank you! My Kids ages are 9 to 18 and all would love to do it again.

Jason and Andrew were absolutely amazing captains and guides. We loved our day on the water with them. They were so nice to our kids and took us where we wanted to go and made sure the experience was top notch. I highly recommend them.

Jason and Erik were the best! They were so great to our family. Erik’s drinks were amazing. Jason was awesome teaching us about the stingray and making sure we always felt safe and comfortable with them and while snorkeling. They even found us some conch! Highly recommend going on the full day with them. It’s 100% worth it!

It’s was an amazing experience! Captain Alex was great and such a wealth of knowledge and advice! We loved ALL of it. It’s a must do when in the Cayman’s!

This was our second outing with Island Splash. In 2018 we did a half day private tour with Jason Bush as our captain. Amazing. Informative. Comfortable. This time we had a guy named Price, and all was the same. Made the day a truly great experience. We had our kids on this trip and he did amazing entertaining the adults, and still finding time to help the kids. Amazing patience helping the them snorkel. A lot of laughter, and surprisingly learned a lot. Anyone looking into a visit to Stingray City or Coral Gardens while visiting the Caymans should do a private tour if possible. Splash Island was worth every penny! Highly Recommend!

This was the highlight of our vacation. We had Alex our captain and he took us to coral gardens, stingray city, starfish point, and Kaibo beach bar. We had an amazing time snorkeling, hanging out, and having some drinks. Highly recommend booking a private tour.

Amazing day out on the water - just the right amount of time and a fun filled day with family of four. Super convenient pick up at the hotel and a short drive to the Harbor. Captain Alex was amazing - was fantastic with the stingrays and clearly loved his job and being in Grand Cayman - he was great with all of us and was very knowledgeable about the area and the ocean Snorkeling at Rum Point was great and the finish with the starfish was perfect

Absolutely great day on the water with Alex. He was a very knowledgeable boat Captain. He made the day fun for our entire family. We saw stingrays amd starfish. Everything that the charter advertised happened. Pickup at our hotel was on time and easy to find. Absolutely recommend. 10/10

Great day on the boat with Wilis! We had a pretty windy and rough day, but everyone kept a positive attitude and we got to experience everything we wanted to see. Wilis was great with the stingrays, taught us how to hold them, now my 11 year old says that is his favorite animal! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed the trip on the boat yesterday. The weather was pleasant and the waved were not so big. Willis and Jason were our guides, they skilfully ride the boat and brought us to see stingrays and turtles, sea stars and even small shark. It was very amazing trip. I recommend to use this sailor team for everyone.

As a group of friends, myself and 7 other girls decided to make this our excursion on a cruise. We are so happy we did!! It was the absolute BEST! The stingray experience was amazing. Every part of it was fun filled and all while giving us an education on island life. Our guides, well...we just can't say enough about them. When we said goodbye, we felt like we were leaving friends. The boat was nice and extremely clean. All of us remarked how happy we were to have had a more private experience rather than the other boats around where they were loaded on like cattle and given limited time to enjoy the experience, where we felt no rush at all. It was a wonderful experience and a memory I will chersish forever!

Jason was a great tour guide on our Stingray, snorkeling and starfish point adventure. He was very knowledge of the island as well as the areas he took us too. He made sure the kids had a great time. One thing i like most, the weather was very questionable that day, and he did not force us to continue the reservation if we didn't feel like going anymore. He would have left us and not charged us a dime. We are very glad we still went. Going on a small group tour to Stringray city is the best tour I've been there.
