Harry was fantastic! He was friendly, hospitable, and very knowledgeable about the island, the reef, and marine life. My mom stayed on the boat while the rest of us got in the water, and Harry kept her company and made sure she enjoyed the experience too. We really appreciated that! Marcel, our boat captain, took us to three spots: stingray city, a snorkel site, and a starfish beach. He was knowledgeable, personable, and provided our group a great morning boat excursion.

A fantastic three hour adventure with stingray island, snorkeling, and starfish point! Our captain was so knowledgeable about all of it. He knew details about every experience and we learned a lot. Deckhand was fantastic as well. Strongly recommend. It’s worth it 100%!!

Great experience, just as we wished and planned for. John and Noah were extremely personable. The areas were not busy at all, so more enjoyable. It was 3 hours just as scheduled.

Our captain Marcel was randomly the same captain we had in October 2023 during our last visit - He is exceptional! We booked with the same company bc of our fantastic experience during our last visit. It was pure good fortune that we were paired with Marcel again. He is patient, knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure the perfect tailored experience for our family. He listened, observed and crafted a trip that was tailored to what my son enjoyed the most. My son is limited verbal on the Autism spectrum. Several times during our charter he unprompted said “I like it!” “I love it!” Marcel truly went above and beyond. He took pictures, was patient helping my son in and out of the boat, ensured that he could participate in the stingray and starfish experiences, knew so much about the island and sea life and I cannot express my appreciation enough. What a wonderful, perfect day! I wanted to ensure we shared our gratitude! We will definitely book with you again on our next visit.

The trip was amazing. Our captains of the boat where Andrew and Steve . They were so knowledgable and sincere. Both were passionate about their island and went into great details about the sea life and nature at each of our stops. They were very patient with needs of the members of our group. They created an adventure just for us. We could not have be happier with this trip.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our private boat tour with Steve and Ferrick. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made us feel welcome and completely taken care of. Graeme and Travis were the best hosts with by far the best boat. They were excellent hosts. Sting ray city was an awesome experience . They gave us lots of history then went and got one for us to hold and kiss. After snorkeling we headed to starfish beach and rode jet skis. Thank you for a memorable day on your beautiful island . We had a wonderful morning with Noah and Marcel! Getting early to the stingrays was key as it was getting very busy when we were heading out. They were friendly, timely and knowledgable during our time together. I was feeling unwell and they were accommodating to get me on some stable land for a few minutes to regroup while the rest of our party snorkeled. It was a very fun time, and we highly recommend booking with them!

We did two trips with Cobalt - one to bio bay and one to sting ray city. Both were well organised in advance by the team; a few easy to access emails and our trip was in the diary. Then on the days we were collected from our hotel in a clean and tidy taxi style car which whisked us to the dock. The boat was a Boston whaler beauty. Our experience was very special on both trips with different captains. Bio bay is literally magical. The sting rays at sting ray city a chance to touch and encounter nature in ways which we simply don’t enjoy back home. Tremendous memories.

Besides the beautiful scenery, the guys who did the tour were fantastic. Respectful, kind, and extremely knowledgeable on the area and wildlife. We were a family of seven and every single person said it was an amazing day. I would recommend this to tour in particular to anyone going to Grand Cayman.

It’s not cheap but you have excellent exclusivity tour and attention for the crew boat, beautiful places for snorkeling

From start to finish, this was amazing. All my questions about were promptly answered and very accommodating when customizing our tour. The crew was fantastic; making sure we were all comfortable and shared their wealth of knowledge throughout. Our 4 hr private tour included stingrays. snorkeling, a sunset, stop for dinner and bio bay. Best tour ever!

My sister and I went to Bio Bay to see the amazing bioluminescent plankton. Steve was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and he was so knowledgeable and explained everything really well. We are both seniors and he was very kind and helpful. He even took photos for us. We thought he was awesome and we quite enjoyed his British accent! The owner of the charter company was very quick to respond to all of our inquiries. We had a wonderful time and if you chose this company you will be very pleased!

Booking was easy, communication was fantastic, and the charter itself was absolutely perfect. Steve (our captain) picked us up on time and took us to the dock where we met our first mate Ferrick. I couldn't have picked a better pair of people to take us on our 4 hour charter if I tried. We first stopped at Stingray City (of course), then a little snorkeling at the reef, then off to see the starfish (so very cool), and finally a trip through the mangroves. At every single stop, Ferrick was a walking encyclopedia of entertaining information that made each experience even better. Both he and Steve added so much more to the charter just by being themselves. I've booked many charters in many locations, but this one was my favorite. I highly recommend Cobalt.

This really shines a light on the best of Cayman. Opting to do a private boat was a splurge but we're so glad we did. Our captains/crew Noah and Marcel are clearly so knowledgeable about the area and the nature/wildlife around the area. We saw so much and learned so much. Having the flexibility to see what we wanted and spend more or less time based on our interests was so valuable. The boat was in great condition and we just couldn't have had a better day. This is a must do for anyone visiting Cayman!

Marsel and Noah were very kind , energetic and knowledgeable during our tour . It was a a bit rough but were insistent we hold the stingrays , feed and give them smooches even with lots of waves . We ate at cute Beach Restaurant and had delicious pizza and spicy margaritas. Thank you for fun tour !

Noah and Steve were great. Made the stingray, snorkeling and beach bar trip well worth it! Everyone enjoyed interacting with the stingrays, the reef had beautiful fish and the guys gave us a guide that showed what fish to look for.

We took a couples voyage out on a private charter on a nice and comfortable Cobalt bowrider. Our captain Jonny and first mate Luka made for an enjoyable experience sharing their knowledge of the history of the places visited and how to safely interact with the wildlife. We visited Stingray city and were able to hold, feed and kiss a very cooperating stingray (whom was pregnant). The rays were not aggressive and provided a great memory. We then visited a reef area to snorkel and see coral and native fish. They provided the gear and gave instructions to protect the wildlife. Our last stop was at Starfish point and got to see the up close and learn how they move, feed and see (kind of). We did BYOB and got to play our music between stops. Captain was very accommodating and got to see the sunset on the way back to the dock. This is a must do experience when visiting Grand Cayman. Communication with the reservation team was top notch.

My 20-something children and I had a great time on our private charter with Cobalt. It was recommended to us by our friends who are locals. We went out for the 4 hour afternoon tour and it was a beautiful way to end the day with the sunset, luminescent cove, and a star lit ride back to the dock. Jon and Noah were excellent tour guides. Jon gave us so much information about the Cayman waters, stingrays, starfish, and luminescent origins. When I could not go snorkeling with the kids, Jon was happy to jump right in and take them around the reef. My daughter wanted to get back out there to stingray city the next day! Although the kids are still waiting for their playlist ranking (joking!) we all agreed the Cobalt tour was an excellent addition to our trip.

We had an amazing experience. We went to Stingray City, snorkeling and the mangroves. Kyle and Andrew were awesome. My kids were nervous about getting in the water with the stingrays and Kyle and Andrew made them feel comfortable. They were both so knowledgeable about the island! We had fun and learned a few things. I highly recommend this company.

From start to finish, our private boat tour to Stingray City was nothing short of incredible! Our captain and crew were warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. They shared facts about the stingrays and local marine life, but also gave us plenty of time just to soak in the turquoise water and enjoy the moment. The boat was spotless and spacious! We also had time for a quick snorkel stop at a nearby reef and a local beach bar. Such a perfect day!

We’ve been wanting to do this tour for a few years. It really was a great experience and very unique. It’s not easy to find something that all our kids are happy to do. The sunset on the boat ride to the bay was so beautiful. Learning about why this is now occurring in Cayman was so interesting. It was very cool to be in the bay at night and experience the illuminating plankton. And seeing the beautiful stars on the way back was really special. Just a wonderful tour with our family. Kyle was an amazing guide and boat captain. He was easy going yet attentive. He related well with our 3 teenagers and 2 tweens. Our 12 year old said this ranked in his top nine best experiences in his life! Thank you Kyle!

We took a Sunday morning private charter to Sting Ray City, starfish point, turtle watching and Caibo for lunch. Andrew and John were wonderful guides and provided history insight and fun. Traveling with a differently abled traveler, Andrew and John were flexible supportive thoughtful and made sure we had a great experience at our pace. I can’t recommend them enough! Great day!

John and Noah did a great job of cruising us around. They helped us with our gear, and took lots of photos of us. Stingrays and Starfish did their part too.

I can't say enough about Cobalt Charters. We were traveling with two families with a total of eight people...all teenage daughters. We booked the bio tour one evening and the four hour stingray city tour a couple of days later. Bio tour - one of the coolest things we have ever seen and Marcel was our captain. Great guy who took care of everything. We highly recommend this trip. Stingray city - awesome morning with John and Andrew leading this excursion. Both guys were very personable and knowledgeable, and just like Marcel took care of anything we could think of. You can tell customer service is a priority with this company and it shows with everyone you meet. Starting with Graeme. He took care of all the bookings and was very responsive answering all my questions before and during our time at Cayman. I honestly can't imagine any other charter being better than our experience, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to enhance their Cayman vacation. Marcel, John, and Andrew, thanks for two fun trips and taking care of our daughters! They had a blast.

Excellent experience and staff. 100% recommended. The boat is in very well condition and very safe for kids. We went with a 4, 6 and 7 years old kids and loved it.
