We booked this tour when we stopped in the Cayman Islands for our cruise. Highly recommend going this route versa through the cruise line. It’s a short taxi ride from the pier. We had an incredible time on our tour with Liam. Swimming with stingrays and holding starfish were experiences I never expected, and the tour was great for our family, including our 22-month-old.

Our friend booked a private bioluminescence charter with Captain Liam, and it turned out to be one of the most magical and unforgettable experiences of our trip to the Cayman Islands! The boat was fantastic, spacious, comfortable, and easily big enough to accommodate a larger group. Liam is an incredibly knowledgeable local guide who knows exactly where to go to experience the island’s breathtaking bioluminescence at its best. We enjoyed a beautiful boat ride under the stars before getting into the water to witness the incredible glowing waters. It was honestly such a surreal experience! Liam thought of absolutely everything, providing water, snorkelling equipment, pool noodles to float around on, and, most importantly, wonderful company. He made us feel completely comfortable and ensured we had the best possible experience. It was truly one of the highlights of our holiday, and we couldn't recommend Captain Liam enough! We had a great trip with Austin! Stingray City was amazing to visit, try to go on a day there aren't cruise ships if you can. We were so glad we went with a private tour for our family when we saw how many people can fit on the bigger boats they run groups on. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time on the water and in the sun with kids. You won't regret booking this tour!

Fantastic experience with Ray Dayz charters and Captain Austin! The boat was really nice and clean with a little cover over the Captain’s area. We departed from Camana bay which was a lovely shopping/dining area and went to stingray bay and the reef and cruised around the crystal blue green water. There was so much sea wildlife to see! Captain Austin was experienced and so knowledgeable and friendly. We were in great hands! Highly recommend!
This boating tour was fantastic for our family of 8. Liam was kind, knowledgeable & fun! Definitely an unforgettable experience. Bring your sun screen! We swam with sting rays & got to feed them, went snorkeling on the reef & saw nursery sharks, barracudas, turtles & so much fish!! & Star fish point!
What an awesome adventure! This experience will live on in our children’s memories forever. Liam, our captain and owner was very friendly, professional and experienced. He was early to our meet up point, had cold refreshments for us on his boat, and was very knowledgeable. His boat was very clean and conformable and easy to get on and off. When we arrived to stingray city, he got us in quickly and safe, instructed us on the dos and don’ts and then provided us with snorkel equipment and get right in to swimming with some really giant sting rays!!! They we headed over to snorkel around some really pretty corals, and finished up the trip at starfish point where we got to see a ton of live starfish. We’ve never seen so many living starfish in one place. We’ve highly recommend Liam and Ray Dayz Charters to anyone who’s looking to have a great time while they are visiting the Cayman Islands!!! Liam at Ray Dayz is the absolute best! He is very knowledgeable and helpful, while providing a fun atmosphere. My friends and I went to stingray city, snorkel, and starfish point and had the best time. His boat is perfect for our group, with a speaker so we could turn it into a party. Deion is very knowledgeable about the island and completely catered each stop to us and made the most of our boat trip! Ask him to take you to Kaibo. They have awesome food and drinks. The bartender Charles is great! Deion had amazing recommendations, and we couldn’t recommend him enough. If you want to have the best boat day go with Deion and his team!
One of the best tours ever. Our captain Austin was so helpful and knowledgeable. Great communication before as well. My two and four year old even enjoyed the boat and time in the water.

If you’re looking for the best boat tour in Grand Cayman, ask for Deion! He made our day absolutely unforgettable. He knew all the best spots around the island and somehow always seemed to find places that weren’t overcrowded. The highlight of the day was Stingray City. Our younger son was pretty nervous about the stingrays, but Deion was amazing with him. He helped him feel completely safe without ever pushing him. Deion took us to a spot where we not only saw beautiful fish but also sea turtles, which was such an unexpected bonus.If you’re deciding on a boat tour, don’t hesitate to book with Deion. His knowledge, relaxed personality, and genuine care for making sure everyone has a great experience made this one of the best excursions we’ve ever done. We would book with him again in a heartbeat!

Our guide, Liam, made everything more fun, easy, and exciting! Our favorite part was definitely Stingray City. While we were there, Liam went out of his way to get food for the stingrays for us to feed him and he brought starfish to us while we were there. Overall, we had a great time and recommend anyone to go!
This is the ONLY way to do the Biobay. Captain Deion was fantastic! Born and raised local, knows the best spots, had us pumped and engaged the whole time. Skip the kayaks and get in the water with this tour. You’ll be mesmerized. Go with the 9pm booking. We were the ONLY ones there.

We really enjoyed this excursion. We were a party of 8, multigenerational, and we all enjoyed it. Liam was fantastic, very laid back and kind, and very attentive. We did the morning 4 hour trip and had enough time to relax and enjoy each stop.

Great guides and lovely evening!! We had so much fun! They even bumped the tour back 30 minutes because of the sunset!! We were so happy! There are jelly fish in the water and you do get stings! I would still do it again! Pick up and drop off was easy and at a beautiful area. Bioluminescence is beautiful and magical! We stayed in the water as long a we could!

Our party of 8 which included 3 seniors, 3 kiddos and 2 adults just had a private boat chartered by Liam and it was fantastic! He took us to swim with the sting rays and snorkeling. He also stopped at Rum point for us to grab a quick bite to eat. We were lucky enough to see sea turtles and sting rays while snorkeling. Liam was on time, kind and really great taking care of everyone. He also was so knowledgeable about the Island and had answers to all the questions we had. Pricing was reasonable. When we come again, we will book with Liam again.
Liam was waiting at the dock when we arrived and he was amazing from start to finish! He was very accommodating and he was very knowledgable about the area, sea-life, and cayman island. You can tell he really enjoys his job and he was a great activity leader! He took pictures for us whenever we asked and he was such a joy to be around! Thanks Liam! 10/10 highly highly recommend!

My husband and I booked the private route because we wanted something a little slower pace when exploring the waters. Liam was our guide and he did an amazing job with every aspect of the trip! He made us feel safe, comfortable, has so much knowledge of the waters, took us to stingray city/ snorkeling/ and starfish point! We got to experience the beauty of the waters and the diverse wildlife it has!! Hands down, made our first trip to the island!!
The best day with Liam. The water was beautiful and snorkeling was some of the best we have experienced in years. Liam did an amazing job avoiding the crowds. We went to starfish point and saw dozens of starfish. Snorkeled by Rum Point and saw hundreds of reef fish, sea turtles and stingrays. Stingray city was a highlight. Our guide clearly knew a lot of the Rays and would guide them in our arms for holding. Perfect day 10/10 that could not have been better.
This was an amazing experience. Liam and Dion met us right on time and Dion took us to several of his favorite spots, away from the more frequented places by tour boats. He also gave us a short cruise around the eastern side of the island. We got to interact with rays, see turtles and of course lots of tropical sea life. At the end he dropped us off at a Marina that was a shorter distance to our cruise ship. The trip was a great value, the boat was comfortable although there was some choppy water on the way out. We will definitely book with Ray Dayz again!!!

We still had some rain, but he was able to take us to different areas to avoid rain the whole trip. His ability to spot turtles was incredible! The boat was clean and safe. Great snorkel equipment. Swimming in bioluminescence bay was an amazing experience. We went with a private charter because we didn't want to go with a bigger group at night. We are so glad we did! Liam was an excellent captain and was flexible with the timing of our tour. He didn't rush us at all, letting us spend as much time in the water as we wanted. He even took great pictures for us. It really is a magical experience and something we had never done before.

We scheduled months in advance. The day of our tour a tropical storm hit. They were able to reschedule us later in the week after moving things around. We are truly thankful!

While there isn’t much prep info given about this trip, the over-all experience was sensational. I recommend getting in touch with the tour guide early on, so you can have clarity about what to expect and what to bring with you.
Captain Ed gave us the most enjoyable experience. We had the best snorkeling - just loads of different kinds of fish. And a memorable experience with Stubbie the stingray!
Dion was a great guide! Our experience was relaxing, fun and just as expected. Found some turtles, sting rays, star fish and beautiful houses.
After booking, the Captain encouraged us to change the day due to the pending weather. That was the right move! We were staying at Kaibo so they picked us up there and customized our 3 hr trip to our request. If you see one starfish, you’ve seen them all… more snorkeling time and stingrays made for an amazing day! The 20+ year experienced Captain took us to two different dive spots that were incredible, shared some local knowledge and history, and spent plenty of time with the rays. Would definitely recommend Rays Dayz for your outing. The group tours are more scheduled, crowded, and less appealing.
We had a good time with this experience. The captain did his best within bio bay to get us the bio effect. I am taking off a star because of the captain's accent. It was difficult to understand him, as he explained all the details of the excursion, history of the island and about the bio plankton. I would recommend Ray Days Charters for another trip.
I'm not sure why I would be asked to review an activity that didn't happen. It was cancelled the night before the event. We didn't receive the notification and was extremely saddened on Christmas Eve when we found out at the boat dock it was cancelled. We would not have known why if it had not been for a very helpful security guard who asked a different boat captain. That captain called our tour company's captain and told us he was at dinner and had sent the cancellation the night before. That was the day I paid for the activity and got confirmation it was a go. Fortunately we received a refund but it messed with our Christmas Eve schedule. Very disappointed. We should have received a C phone call.
Liam was very professional, knowledge and patient with us during our half day with him. He came highly recommended and we were not disappointed! Would definitely book another trip with him.
