Half-day Private Stingray City Charter In Cayman Islands

Amazing experience. Must do activity while in Cayman. Boat and captain were top notch. Definitely worth it to do a private charter.

Would not recommend. Our excursion was booked for 4 hrs and we returned 40 minutes early with no explanation. Kids loved the starfish beach but were asked to get back on to rush back to shore. They could have swam for another 30 minutes. Did not get our full time that we paid for. Captain was okay and got us where we needed to go, but not very warm nor friendly to be in a customer service business. Would not recommend.

Had a great experience! Our boat captain, Price, was friendly and knowledgeable. We have been to Cayman three times and taken tours on many other Caribbean islands as well, and Price shared info about the stingrays and starfish that we had never heard before. He was really patient and took the time to make sure every person in our party had a great time. Highly recommend!

DO NOT... and I mean, DO NOT book this boat service provider! They falsely advertise providing Snacks and Hotel Transfer and when I reached out to clarify pick up time and whatsnot, they tell me they don't offer these things. Why is it listed on Viator if you don't offer it? On top of that, they were soooo rude. Whomever Samantha is, needs to go back to school and get herself educated on customer service. She has none! Her initial response to my question about hotel transfer was unnecessarily rude and on top of that, she outright told me I could seek another service provider. Business must be good for them not to want my service. It gets better, the amount was already charged on my credit card for the booking..the next thing I see, they cancelled my booking without notice. I hope I get my money back. As I've said, DO NOT book this service provider! This type of rude and horrible customer service as well as false advertising, is not worth it. I will attach the screenshot I took from their listing to show they falsely advertised providing snacks and hotel transfer.

What an unforgettable boat tour experience! From the moment we stepped on board, the views, the breeze, and the peaceful water set the perfect vibe. The ride was smooth, the scenery was absolutely stunning, and every moment felt like a postcard coming to life., our guide price was very friendly & made our day out on the water fun.

Pryce was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Made us feel very comfortable around the stingrays. Very fun!

This was a fantastic experience! Pryce was a great guide, very entertaining and helpful! We took the boat to Stingray City and even though the waves were a little rough, he was super accommodating and helped us get some great family photos. He was also very patient with us since we had a 11-year old with us who was a little hesitant. Next, he took us snorkeling and our last stop was Starfish Point. It was a great way to spend part of our day here in the Caymans.

We had a fantastic time! Pryce was an absolute delight! Great tour, great trip, all around amazing experience!

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Our guide, Pryce, was phenomenal! He was so fun and helpful. A couple people in our group were scared of the sting rays but he was so calm and patient that they agreed to hold one and were very thankful for it and his presence

Price was great. The excursions were fun. Only bad part was no speakers to listen to music.

We had a great trip. The company was very accommodating. We were able to change the date due to weather. Our captain was very nice and knowledgeable. We held stingrays, he found a sea turtle for me and brought us through the mangroves. I would absolutely book with them again.

We took a boat ride yesterday here in the Caymans while celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary, and overall we had a good time. The water was beautiful and warm, and we truly enjoyed the experience together. The boat itself was nice, but it could use a little upkeep. The radio/Bluetooth system wasn’t working, and the ladder used to get in and out of the water could use some maintenance for safety and convenience. Our guide was friendly and pleasant. However, once we arrived at the Stingray Sandbar, he spent some time hitting on a girl from another boat, which felt a bit unprofessional in front of guests. He was kind overall, but I believe a little more training on professionalism and guest awareness would go a long way. That said, we still had a nice time and appreciated being out on the water celebrating such a special milestone together.

What an amazing experience! Despite the rough waters, our guide was able to get us to stingray city where we had almost all the stingrays to ourselves. Never once did we feel unsafe. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great captain and 1st mate. They helped us get in and out of the boat. They worked and swam with the non-swimmers in our group, giving everyone a great water experience.

We had an absolutely amazing afternoon out on the water with Pryce – truly a highlight of our trip! From start to finish, he took incredible care of us, making sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and most importantly, had a great time. Our adventure began at Stingray City, where Pryce guided us through an unforgettable experience interacting with the stingrays. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping even the more hesitant members of our group feel at ease. Next, we headed to a beautiful snorkeling spot where the water was crystal clear and the marine life was vibrant and plentiful – Pryce knew exactly where to go for the best views. We wrapped up the day at Starfish Point, a calm and peaceful beach where we could see and gently hold the stunning starfish in their natural habitat. Pryce made sure we respected the environment while still enjoying every moment. His professionalism, easygoing nature, and passion for what he does truly set this tour apart. We can't recommend him enough – if you're looking for a fun, safe, and memorable time on the water, Pryce is your guy.

Simply outstanding. Price, our captain is our favorite person in the Cayman’s right now. The stingrays are magnificent.

Fun afternoon with stingrays— Highlights: beautiful boat, great weather,driver was a stingray expert, such a unique experience for my kids and husband/me to interact with and hold stingrays! Final positive was that I was glad we splurged for the private boat so we didn’t have to wait until everyone on the boat was ready to leave… Other things to note: we did 3 stops - stingray city, snorkeling, and starfish park. The latter two stops were “meh”- snorkeling was cool but water was choppy (still a cool experience) but starfish place was underwhelming and they brought the starfish in from the deeper part. Also, stingray city was packed with boats/cruise ship tourists jam-packed into boats. It was still worth it, but not quite what I was expecting. Overall, I’d recommend it to be on the water and hang out with cute stingrays. But not 5 stars given the above and the high price ($850 for 3.5 hours…. The time on the water was more like 3 hours).

The boat was so nice. It fit our 10 person family just great. The ride was beautiful out to the sand bar. The waves were insane that day, but our captain never made me feel unsafe at any point of the day. He was so helpful and so knowledgeable. He brought us cold drink for the trip. We brought snacks and ate on the boat while we hit the different attractions. All of the gear is provided for snorkeling, you can bring your own of course, but there's not need. The snorkeling area he took us too was beautiful. He helped us off and on the boat if we needed it. The canopy kept us cool during the times we were anchored. I wish I could remember the name of our captain, but I'm so jet lagged at the moment that everything is blending together. But the dock was easy to find, he provided us with his cell to contact him at any point. He was such a safe driver too, not sure how he kept the boat so even-keeled during those large waves, but he did. We asked to make a quick detour on our way back to the dock to look at a house on the canal my fam is interested in buying. We didn't stop or get out of the boat, but it was sweet of him to drive by for us. Overall sooooooo amazing.

Wonderful excursion. We did a half-day tour with stingrays, snorkel, then starfish point. We had two young children (4 y/o and 1.5 y/o) and felt completely safe despite the waters being a bit choppy that day. Our tour guide was very flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to do (spent less time snorkeling and more time at the starfish point) due to the kids. The boat was clean and our guide was very informative. There was a slight mix up as we had registered to be picked up at our hotel, but they thought we were going to meet at the dock. However, as soon as I called, they arrived to pick us up at the hotel within about 7 minutes.

Our family had an incredible day on the water in Grand Cayman with Pryce. Our first stop at Stingray Beach was amazing. We had our own stingray thanks to Pryce and each of us got the opportunity to hold and interact with it, which was a lot of fun for all of us. The snorkeling spot was great as well as the Starfish beach. Perhaps more impressive than his incredible level of service on the boat, Pryce came out of his way to pick us up due to a port change by our cruise ship. It saved us time and made the morning a lot less stressful than it could have been. He also gave us a great restaurant reco for an afternoon family lunch! Thank you so much for an incredible experience.

We had such a great time! We got to tour with Luke today and he took such great care of our family. We had our 14 month old baby and we brought our own life jacket for her. Luke met us close to where our cruise ship dropped off and was very prompt. There was a coffee shop 30 seconds away so we grabbed coffee. Luke was very accommodating and friendly and explained a lot about the island and wild life. We went to see the string ray, star fish and snorkel! Luke was great 👍 thank you!

What an incredible experience! Pryce was my Captain & Guide - he was so knowledgeable and passionate about his profession and I felt in very safe hands because actually I was a little nervous about being in the water with the powerful stingrays which all seemed to love being with him He helped me hold one of the biggest ones called Darth Vader and kindly took loads of amazing pics and video It’s a memory I will cherish although I’d love to do it again! Booking the private excursion is worth the money for the quality & ease of it all and I was happy to add a nice tip to my Captain too as the service really was top notch Until the next time :)

We had an amazing day with our Captain Price. He was a pleasure to be with. Price is very knowledgeable about the area. He made the experience unforgettable. We were on a cruise so we were asked to meet at the Hard Rock Cafe. It has since been closed. I would suggest another pick up location for cruise ship passengers just to avoid any confusion. Our taxi driver to and from the yacht club was also excellent. The port area was extremely busy since there were 4 ships in port that day. Thanks very much for an incredible day and experience.

Really enjoyed Sting Ray city and getting up close to the sting rays. Pryce was a great and knowledgeable guide and operator.

We had a great day on the water in Grand Cayman with Price. He picked us up from our Air B&B on time, and took us to the marina. The boat was well cared for, clean, stocked with drinks, snorkel gear, and floats. The conditions were very windy, but Price was a great captain. Sting Ray city as always was a fun vist. We all enjoyed our next stop snorkeling...again conditions were windy which caused us all to get pushed out farther than we would have liked...Price stood on the back of the boat watching out for us, and started waving us back in when he realized we were to far out. Our next stop was our first visit to Starfish point for us all. Lots of beautiful starfish to see, but due to all the rain Grand Cayman has been receiving there were jellyfish present. Our son's girlfriend got stung, but Price was prepared with vineger that helped ease her pain which allowed her to still enjoy our time at Starfish point. I have to say Price was a big reason we had a great day out on the water. You can tell he loves his job, and really wants his guest to have a safe fun day on the water.

Pryce was a fabulous guide who made our day perfect! We loved all of the stops & the boat had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and a baby! This was a highlight of our vacation and we would definitely recommend it!

This was the absolute best day of our vacation! Stingray city was magical and our guide, Pryce, made sure we had a great experience and took great pics for us. The snorkel spot was amazing also! We also went to Rum Point which was so fun, the place where the mud slide was invented.

We did a half day charter to Stingray City, Starfish Point and snorkeling. Pryce was our driver, caption and guide. He made the trip an outstanding experience. We got to hold and kiss a stingray, snorkel a beautiful reef and see starfish. We came on a cruise ship and our docking location was changed. It was easy to get ahold of the company and find Pryce when we finally arrived. He also gave us an awesome lunch suggestion. Overall just a fun and relaxing day on the water!

10 STARS !!! This was the best decision for our cruise stop in Grand Cayman! Price (our captain) was an AMAZING host- he picked up us close to the ship, and drove us directly to the boat! We went to stingray city, starfish beach, and snorkeled around the reefs. He was knowledgeable, patient, and so fun to share the experiences with. He had everything we needed on board, and the ship was comfortable for our family of all ages! Would hands down book again- we LOVED it! Thank you!!

Everything was fantastic. We arrived at the dock right as our guide was pulling up. We had Pryce as our guide, who was really great. Very experienced and thorough but the right kind of laid back and wanted to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. He hopped in the water at the first stop at Stingray City and grabbed a stingray so we could all get an experience holding it and taking pictures. At the other two stops, he let us explore on our own to enjoy everything there. He had clearly been doing this a long time, as he knew the other guides out there and was clearly well respected by the group. He even took a little detour to help spot a couple of sea turtles swimming about. There are tons of group tours that go to these same places for less money. If you have the means, I highly recommend a private tour. It's less hectic and you get the personal experience you wouldn't have had in a group setting. For the four in our family, it's not that much more for the private tour vs. the group option.

An absolutely wonderful day and experience with Andrew. His love of his home island and joy in sharing it with us was amazing. We would do this again!

We had a wonderful time and experience visiting Stingray City, snorkeling and Starfish point with Pryce. These stingrays are amazing creatures. The boat was very clean and our guide, Pryce, was so nice, friendly, funny, and an experienced boat driver. Would recommend spending time on the water while in Grand Cayman with this company for sure.

They where very nice at the end of our trip we did feel rushed I understand they had another group but we wanted to take pictures on the boat and where rushed out

Great experience. Our driver was very quiet which could be a good thing or not depending on what you are looking for. He was knowledgeable and had a clear love for the water and its habitat. He was from Jamaica- not a native, which again didn’t bother us at all- he knew alot. No sodas as advertised. Only one bottle of water per person was on board- so bring your own. Boat was super clean! He let us listen to our own music which I loved! Stingrays never disappoint! Snorkeling was fun and we saw a ton of stuff. Starfish beach is underwhelming- but we had already seen it.

Pryce was a wonderful captain - he was punctual, knowledgable and a great photographer! He made each stop memorable and special, we had the best time!

So much fun!!! We did a a half day private tour with our 2 kids. Our guide Pryce was awesome and great with the kids! HIGHLY recommend doing a private tour for the stingrays/reef/starfish! If you can request guides, I would request Pryce! We would absolutely use this company again, their transportation was right on time and super easy.
