We had a great time on this catamaran trip. The boat wasn’t crowded and the staff were friendly and helpful! It was a great value for the money. Five and a half hours of entertainment for $300 for two people.

On my fourth trip to Grand Cayman, I wanted to swim with the Stingrays and snorkel the coral garden again. I chose the Rays and Reef - Rum Point departure this time for something different from the traditional sailboat catamaran tour (which I had done on the three previous visits). This was on a 36-foot Twin Vee Power Catamaran that was much smaller and went much faster. When I got on the boat, Captain Harvey recognized me from previous trips (other years) with Red Sail out of Rum Point, and I, of course, recognized him too! LOVE THAT! He and Conyen (sp?) were great at getting the stingrays for the guests on a wavier day. This tour did not offer professional photography, so new friends captured video & pictures for me. The GIANT stingray named Midnight didn't want to leave my arms, and that made my trip!! Remember, kiss a stingray = 7 years good luck! Snorkeling at the coral gardens was awesome also! A must-do - whenever in Grand Cayman, in my opinion!!

We loved this tour and actually did two excursions with this company. We went swimming with the stingrays and then were brought to Rum Island. We were lucky to have Morne on both trips, and he was fantastic—full of knowledge and always helping out, whether as the bartender, DJ, or assisting the captain. When my sun hat flew into the ocean, he even tried to get it back! The entire crew was wonderful. We also went snorkeling to see the shipwreck, and the lunch served on the excursion was absolutely delicious. Morne and several other staff members helped us connect with, hold, and swim with the stingrays with complete confidence, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this excursion.

What a wonderful experience!!! This is a no brainer, it is the best part of my trip. I have come to the Cayman Islands twice now and both time I did the trip to stingray city stingray city. The crew was phenomenal, Marcus and Myron made the experience top notch. The photos Marcus took I will cherish forever! The boats from red sail sports are clearly the nicest that go to string ray city, and you know you are with the best group possible. This is a 100% MUST BOOK!!!

Stingray City was the highlight — a unique, almost surreal experience to interact with the stingrays in such clear, shallow water. The team handled everything calmly and professionally, making it both safe and enjoyable without feeling staged or rushed. Starfish Point was equally impressive, offering a more scenic atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can truly appreciate the natural beauty of the Cayman Islands. The snorkeling stop was also very well chosen, with great visibility and plenty of marine life. Equipment was in excellent condition, and the crew made sure everyone felt comfortable in the water. Very fun. Would have liked a different genre of music to dance to but other than that it was close to perfect. Everyone was very professional and friendly.

We used Red Sail twice. The boats were nice, clean, and easily boarded. The company’s associates were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Both of our tours started and ended on time. The memories they helped our family create were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience 35 minutes on a very smooth ride to the StingRays, full bar available, short educational talk about how to touch the Rays. After spending time on the sand bank in the crystal clear waters with lots of fish and Sting Rays, holding A cuddling them, we left for Rum Point, Where you can chill for 2 hrs having lunch or enjoying the water activities, before going back. Excellent value, professional staff.

Amazing trip and incredible experience with the stingrays and snorkelling. The crew were knowledgeable and really friendly and made the trip really special. The catamaran was fantastic and facilities so clean and well prepared.

Worth every penny! Guides are very knowledgeable and booking and pick up and drop off was easy! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a great time on this trip. Sting Ray City was such an amazing experience, and the 2 hours at Rum Point was really cool too. We could have spent all day there. The crew and the boat were top notch! I would highly recommend this trip.

Great staff and boat. There are restrooms at the dock to use before boarding. Stingray city fantastic. Rum point, very relaxing and food/drink choices to purchase, very nice. Ample time at the beach to eat, and sit back and chill. Rum point is kinda upscale. Recommend

A fabulous trip to stingray city and added snorkelling today. The crew were extremely knowledgable and attentive throughout the excursion. It really was a superb 3.5hrs trip and well worth the money. Snorkelling equipment was provided as well as drinking water and once the snorkellung was over the bar opened for the journey back...can highly recommend the rum punch. Best to bring cash as the card machine is very temperamentle!

Rum point is not a place you will want to swim the water is very brown and lots of seaweed there was way to much time spent at rum point

DO NOT book this experience!!!! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!! Staff is rude and inattentive. Rolled their eyes every time we asked for equipment or had questions. This just put a damper on the whole trip. They also kept pressuring us to buy photos and annoying us during the trip when we were trying to enjoy ourselves because they said the pictures had to be purchased prior to getting back to shore. The woman rushed me to make a selection when the boat docked and even had the nerve to say to me “this is why I said to do it before!” Not sure why pictures can’t be purchased after but in hindsight this makes me think it must be a scam or side business. You definitely don’t get what you pay for. It’s a rip off!! They are more expensive than other options but we booked this one because our friends highly recommended it. Cost us $100 more in total for a family of five. Will never book with Red Sail sorts ever again and you shouldn’t either!!!

Alton made the trip memorable! He took the time to teach us about the sting rays and patient enough to get us comfortable being around them. The water was clear! Not too cold and not too hot. Drinks were available for sale on board. Spacious boat. Pick up and drop off was seamless.

The catamaran was fun. The crew was helpful. Stingray city is great. I wish we could have spent more time there. Rum point was beautiful but the beach was not swimmable last week. Over all the trip was fun and relaxing

We went on the breakfast with the stingrays and snorkel tour. They picked us up at the Westin and it was a short 10 minute drive. The catamaran was great. Very spacious and plenty of food. They take you out about 30 minutes from shore to a sandbar area where you can get in the water and see and hold stingrays. Awesome experience overall. The next stop is another short ride away where you can snorkel for about 40 minutes. Remember to bring sun screen and a towel from the hotel to use. Overall great experience. Must see in the Caymans!

We visited sting ray city and the reef with red sail and we were treated exceptionally well by the crew of Holly, Anton, Andre, Patrick, all of whom we're very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would 100 percent recommend this activity; and it would be even better if you had the same crew we had. Guaranteed.

Our family took a private tour from the ritz grand cayman with the most amazing crew! Andre and Melvin took care of everything made sure we had the best experience and we got to see and learn so much about the island. If you do one thing here do this! Enjoy

The stingray city part of the trip was great. Loved it, but chose this trip because it said it was a 5.5 hr trip. I was looking forward to spending the day on the boat, but after maybe 45 mins, to an hour at stingray city, they pulled anchor, and took us to Rum Point. They then told us they were dropping us off for 2.5 hours, and to take all of our belongings, as they were picking up another group of people to take out, and left us there. I asked one of the crew if my wife and I could just stay aboard, as we did not want to sit at the bar, where they dropped us for the next 2.5 hours. He said he would ask the captain. He never came back, and they just sailed away. I was less than impressed.

I had a great time on their Breakfast with the Rays experience today. Every crew member was super friendly and knowledgeable, and it was very clear that they care about the rays’ wellbeing and safety. I definitely recommend this experience

The stingray tour is a must do when you visit Grand Cayman. The staff were professional, fun and very knowledgeable about how to interact with the stingrays. The booking was swift with Viator, the boat was beautiful and the water was so blue.

We had a great time, it almost got canceled without any notice but another couple booked in time for us to go. The captain and his crew were awesome, explained what to expect and were extremely helpful and informative when we arrived to swim with the stingrays. The water was perfect it was a once in a lifetime bucket list experience. I highly recommend the excursion. The reef was beautiful and I snorkeled for the first time, the crew were great and provided all the gear you needed. The cocktails afterwards was nice as well.

Awesome!!!!! The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. The experience was like stepping out of one world and entering another. We are in love with sting rays and all those beautiful sea creatures we saw under the sea....FISH GALORE!!!!

While on my recent business trip our group took Red Sail to Stingray City and one of the nearby reefs. My 6 year old son traveled with me and was a part of the group. So glad we did this tour.. it was the highlight of our trip! We got to snorkel, swim with stingrays, and see starfish. Our tour guides also made the experience SO amazing. Shoutout to Alex & Myron- they were so friendly & super knowledgeable about all things sea-life and the island. Definitely stand out guys. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

What an amazing experience! Tom , holly and myron were absolutely phenomenal, very knowledgeable and fun! Stingrays were incredible, Tom being very gentle and friendly with the stingrays. Holly a great photographer and fun with the stingrays and myron a fantastic captain, telling us about the mangroves. Phenomenal trip, would highly recommend!!

We took the famous Stingray City, Starfish, Snirkle adventure. From the time we stepped in the boat until we stepped off the service from the crew was amazing. Lots of excitement, safe, fun environment, beautiful azur water, great narratives, highly recommended.

We wanted to do the sunset cruise to avoid cruise ship crowds and minimize the sun since I burn easily we accomplished one of these🤣. They picked us up at our hotel and then stopped at several other hotels before taking us to the dock. The vehicle was comfortable and well air conditioned and driver was good unlike one of our other experiences where we were clutching our seat belts. When we got to the dock we boarded pretty quickly slowed only by people who had not signed their waivers on line in advance. The boat was one of their smaller catamarans and there were about 28 people on our trip which was comfortable. There is a covered area but the shade disappeared as soon as we left the dock. It was about a 30-40 minute ride out using the engines. Once we arrived, they briefed us and in the water we went. I had done the other stingray city in the early 90s diving and this was a very different experience. Each boat is limited in the amount of squid they feed the rays and our guides were not feeding them and still they came over to socialize. The water was only 2-3 feet deep. There are waves so you do have to pay attention to your balance. I mostly stayed on my knees and my head was comfortably above water. There were list of rays, very large females that were quite docile and willing to let you “hold” them, sometimes for much longer than you thought they would stay. They are velvety smooth and have soulful eyes that look at you while you are holding them. The tour operators would get them and bring them to the guests and show them how to hold them. There were three of them in the water so there was never a long wait to hold one and you have lots of opportunities during the 45 minutes or so in the water. One of the guides will take your photo and then sell you the digital images ($25 for 1, $35 for two and on up). They airdrop them to you or email them. Lots of the passengers had their IPhones in plastic waterproof cases and were taking pictures and videos. They generously shared them via airdrop when we were back on the boat saving us lots of money and getting more candid shots and videos. Once we were back on the boat, they brought out snacks and opened the “bar” where they sold drinks. The snacks were fruit, cookies, and what looked like focaccia. That was free. All the drinks were not except for the non bottled water. We didn’t have any but I think they were about $10 each. They put the sails up for the trip back although they weren’t sailing on the traditional sense of tacking to make the most of the wind but it was very peaceful. Many of us sat on the netting at the front and watched the sunset. After the sunset, they took the sails down and motored into the dock. Despite lots of sunscreen and it being late in the day, we didn’t burn our foreheads, cheeks and noses so if you are fair skinned co sided wearing a hat even in the water. We had a great time, spending much more time closer to the rays than I did decades ago with scuba gear on. Ted Saul might be more expensive than some of the other operators but they are very professional and make it an easy enjoyable experience.

I have been going to Stingray City for decades. When our trusted operator had a medical problem and had to cancel, we booked last minute with Red Sail for a stingray and snorkel trip. The crew exceeded expectations. Harvey and Lisa were great with briefing us at the sites. William spent so much time helping us feel comfortable with the stingrays. Even with several groups on board, we felt the crew was able to give one-on-one attention to guests. This was a magical experience.

We stayed in the seafire hotel And they had red sail that work with the hotel …all the water sport (beside jet ski ) We’re free …. They land you go pro 12 also (so don’t carry it with u they land u the only thing is they sell you the sd card so you can bring that if not it’s only 25$ local money ) We took with them also north eco trip To stingray city and star fish point Crew was great (highly recommend if you have kids to take early trip because of the sun ) Who ever want water sports or trip for sure take red sail they are the best

Great experience. Get on the earliest boat out while the rays are extra hungry. We went out on The Spirit of Cayman w/ Capt John and crew. Even if your bring your own camera or gopro, have the photographer take you pictures. They will set you up perfectly and it's well worth it. We have our photos before we went off to snorkel. I got great footage with my gopro but the family photos were worth it. Many types of fish and we were surrounded with probably 80 stingrays. My 9 year old loved it as well.
