Grand Cayman Bioluminescence Adventure

We enjoyed our trip. It was so peaceful in the boat at night. Our guides were knowledgeable and kept us safe. It was like swimming in the stars

My wife and I were staying near Seven Mile Beach and booked this for something different one evening. Honestly it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. Quiet boat ride, stars overhead, and glowing blue trails in the water every time you moved your hands. Super relaxing and really unique.

At first we almost passed on this because we weren’t sure if it would really look like the photos, but wow… this ended up being one of our favorite nights in Cayman. The boat ride was peaceful and once we reached the bay the water looked almost neon blue around us. Really memorable experience.

We almost didn’t book because it sounded too good to be true, but the water really does light up. Tiny blue flashes followed every movement in the water and it looked incredible once your eyes adjusted to the dark. Easy pickup from our hotel and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

This was a great trip. They were very efficient a great way to spend a few hours on the sea and observe the bioluminescence phonomenon. It was quite powerful when we went on April 23: They said it is better to during early moon - not half-full or above. (We were just shy of half moon and could see it very well). They offered a pick up service, or in our particular case, we could meet the boat at the dock on the west side and some people were picked up by the boat near rum point.

This was a very cool experience. Getting in and swimming and seeing the waters light up glowing blue made it amazing. The guides were very informative about the starfish and jelly fish as well. The whole experience was awesome.

From start to finish this was awesome. So convenient getting picked up at where we are staying. The guys on the boat were amazing knowledgeable friendly and truly wanted us to have a great experience! The plankton part was unbelievable. A must do!! I would Highly suggest anyone that comes to do it!!

The guide was so knowledgeable and great with our family.... he was aware about dangers of jellyfish and properly advised all. The lagoon was magical and the adventure was one for a lifetime.

This was such a fun and informative tour. Loved all the people running the tour. Highly recommend to anyone who is vacationing in the Caymans.

Fantastic experience. The captain did a fantastic job edu sting us on starfish and jellyfish. When we went to bio bay it was breathtaking and amazing!

We never got to go. We received a text to watch our email for additional information. We continued to watch our email but received no additional email. The only email we received was from Trip Advisor stating that the pickup time was 6:30 pm in front of our hotel. Turns out they changed the pick up time & didn't tell us. We missed the entire experience. This is expensive too. I would never book this again and I certainly won't book anything via Trip Advisor again.

The captain and crew were great however the experience was underwhelming. We saw nothing remotely close to pictures featured in advertising. Save your money and do something else.

Spectacular!! The crew was so nice and professional. They made sure we felt safe snorkeling in the bioluminescence water at night. They videotaped us swimming in it which was amazing. Definitely one of the best tours we have been on!

Sugar Bear, the boat Captain and his crew were very informative, knowledgeable and funny and professional. The bay itself was a very neat experience and would recommend this trip.

The trip was just okay. They don’t tell you about the jellyfish until they get you to starfish point. This ruined the adventure

They never showed to pick us up and were unreachable by us, the hotel or Viator. Company does not seem to be well known locally.

We loved the Grand Cayman Bioluminescence Adventure! The hotel pick-up at The Kimpton was on time and the drive around the island before getting to the boat was nice. Jessa and the staff were friendly and the bio bay was beautiful. It was my first time seeing bioluminescence and it was magical. I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Grand Cayman.

My girlfriend and I chose this tour as part of our honeymoon and it was unforgettable! We drove to the meeting point (pick-up was included but we had a rental car) and barely made it due to the crazy traffic - but once we arrived, check-in was smooth and easy. Jessa and all the staff were super friendly and professional and made us feel welcome right away. The bioluminescence was absolutely stunning - this was our first time experiencing it and we were completely amazed! It's one of those magical things you have to see to believe. Absolutely worth it and highly recommended to anyone visiting Grand Cayman! Thank you for an amazing evening! 💫
