Our friendly(Sea Pancakes what I call em)Southern Atlantic Stingrays tamed over many decades of interaction, they will swim around us like curious(Sea Puppies). They are 100% wild which makes it unique unlike other destinations, they come and go as they wish. We can hold, feed, kiss, and take pictures with them to Secure the moment!
Starfish Point a short ride across the "North Sound" from Stingray City. Calmest out of the three, a perfect spot to relax. Straight from the vessel, and on to a beach/sandbar depending on wind. You can hold see these wild sea creatures as they will slowly walk around us while we talk about them!
This was an amazing experience. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The guides took us to see starfish and explained how to view them without harming them. Then the stingray experience was amazing. Thanks guys

What a fantastic experience! I enjoyed everything from snorkeling to petting a stingray. The crew was friendly and made sure we all felt comfortable in the water. We were given opportunities to interact with the stingrays and we were able to hold starfish. The entire experience was definitely a five star adventure!
We had the most wonderful time with the crew! They made the trip so memorable for our children! We will definitely be back again and use this company!

We had a great time! Captain Jake and his son Jordan are Very professional and were awesome tour guides! The snorkeling was fantastic and the stingray sandbar was so much fun. The starfish beach was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this tour. 10 out of 10!

I was hesitant to try an excursion outside of those offered by the cruse line but boy am I glad we did!! This was amazing and our boat crew (Captain Jake, and his right hand Jordan and Dayana taking pics) were top notch. They made sure we were able to experience everything andnothing was rushed. I looked around at some of the other boats doing similar excursions, and they were packed! We had over 30 but it felt small and much more intimate. Best excursion hands down!!
All the workers were very sweet and accommodating. They were very aware of us and the sea life around us making this experience very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and do another tour with them.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Everything about it was professional and such a blast. Pick up was on time, efficient, and the driver was such a sweetheart. Our tour guides Derek and Jason were the best, made us feel safe the entire time. Funny and informative- let us swim with the sting rays on our own time while keeping on eye on us to make sure we were having a great time. You get what you pay for and more
The listing claims to be 'family owned' which implied to me it would be a smaller excursion but in reality its just a big cruise ship tour operator. We took a smaller bus to a much larger boat where lots of buses were dropping people off. We were crammed onto a boat with many others. You loose alot of time because its such a big group and by the time you get everyone on the boat, get them their snorkels and get to the sight you've lost a lot of time. We wish you spent more time snorkeling. The beach stop afterwards was cool to see the starfish but the 'sea lice' gave all the kids bites. The 2 stars are because the price is much cheaper relative to what you'll pay on the cruise ship for probably the same thing but don't be fooled into thinking you are booking a smaller and more intimate excursion. You are not.
Attentive, friendly and very family oriented! Enjoyed every second of the journey! Felt at peace all while enjoying snorkeling and kissing a stingray.
This tour was amazing!! I would definitely recommend it. The tour guides did a great job explaining all about the sting rays. They let you hold them, feed them, and even give them a kiss! Then we got to go snorkeling, and to go see starfish (where we could hold them). The next time I am in Grand Cayman I wouldn’t hesitate to book this tour again.

Great spots but pictures being taken are very expensive and offered at end of- prices should be told up front or offered at a reasonable price since digital. Also didn’t know we could bring our own drinks to put in cooler. Other than that a great excursion.

From the pickup at our hotel to dropping back off the trip was great. Everyone on the crew was very friendly, attentive and truly did everything they could to make the trip memorable.

My family and I had the best time! As soon as we got off the ship in Grand Cayman, Rowan's Watersports was easy to find—their table was conveniently located right in the center of the port, and they were ready and waiting for us. We were picked up by bus and taken to our excursion, where we met Angel and Alex. They were both incredible! They made sure we had an unforgettable experience and went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. One of our biggest concerns was whether we would make it back to the ship on time, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about. We returned with plenty of time to spare and were even able to explore the port before boarding. I highly recommend this excursion and would 100% do it again. In fact, we already want to come back because of how hospitable and friendly everyone was. Thank you, Angel, Alex, and the entire Rowan's Watersports team, for making our day so special!
Every experience delivered. We saw a tortoise swimming next to the boat before snorkeling the reef, we touched the stingrays, and we saw lots of starfish. Importantly, we had the exact right amount of time at each activity - not too long and not too short.
My wife booked this trip directly through Rowan. It was so convenient because they came right to our condo and picked us up to take us directly to the marina… the staff on the boat was super friendly and knowledgeable. When we went to the stingrays, they explained everything , how to feed them hold them and touch them without any incidents. They made everyone feel comfortable and at home. This is a family business and they really care about their customers. What a fun time we had! I highly recommend this company. You really get a bang for your buck as well. Great job Rowan water sports.
This was by far the best excursion my wife and I have ever been on. Angel and his boat hand were awesome and made sure we saw all the best places for snorkeling and interacting with the stingrays. I would definitely visit and recommend this business to anyone visiting. They are an A+++ company.
Jake and Jordan were spectacular during the entire excursion. Jake was very informative, gave important instruction and has a sharp sense of humor. Jordan was great as our Stingray guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We would recommend to everyone who comes to Grand Cayman Island to book them for these fun activities. This was a fun excursion but not the best experience we’ve ever had. Dolan and Kaneesha (I believe) were very friendly. I thought the captain (Bob, I think?) was a bit short with people and seemed irritated that I was afraid of the sting ray. They ran out of squid for the sting rays so my husband was not able to feed one. Also, we had one sting ray to view for the whole group. A few others swam over, but I don’t believe they attracted them enough with food or maybe it was the wrong time of year. Other boats nearby seemed to have a lot of sting rays. I also wasn’t aware we would have to remove our shoes on board the whole time. The starfish were neat to see but we only stayed there about 15 minutes. Overall, the snorkeling was the highlight of the excursion and I’d recommend checking out other companies. We still had a nice time.
Captain Jake and assist Alex did a great job. We were picked up at the Regal Beach club. When we got on the boat, everything was explained . Excellent instruction bout safety, snorkeling, sting ray city, and starfish point. The snorkeling was excellent. Lots of fish to see. Very good instructions on how to use mask, fins and snorkel. When we got to sting ray city; they both held sting rays and helped very anxious guests. We all enjoyed tremendously.

Jay and Daniel were great hosts that kept this excursion operating smoothly so everyone had a good time. There were 3 ships in port arriving and departing at the same time so the port was crazy, but it was easy to find the check-in booth and it moved promptly at the start time to the buses. The bus was only a short 10 minute drive to the marina. Boarding took a couple of minutes and we we took off with about 60 people. The snorkeling equipment was handed out during the 25 minute drive out to the reef, so we were able to jump right in. The water was really calm so they did not hand out fins, which is understandable with how many people there were. The snorkeling was fine, saw plenty of small schools of fish, nothing too exotic but still fun to look at. The water was pretty clear so visibility was good. After about 30 minutes in the water we boarded and started to head to stingray city which was maybe 5 minutes away. We probably spent the most time at this stop. We jumped right in and formed a circle, and Jay and Daniel wrestled up some stingrays that they held for everyone to pet and kiss. They gave everyone plenty of time to take their own photos but also gave everyone opportunity to get their photos taken by the professional photographer, Keylin. Next we went to Starfish beach which was another 10 minutes or so across the bay. There were plenty of starfish to look at and touch. There was also a vendor selling food and drink on the beach. We maybe spent 15-20 minutes before getting back on the boat and heading in. The boat ride back was about 30-40 minutes. Overall the excursion was great. My kids really enjoyed all the activities and never got bored. If you are looking for a pure snorkeling excursion, this will likely be disappointing, but if you are looking to get a taste of many things the island has to offer this excursion is a great way to do it.
I would choose it again. It was the perfect day. The tour is planned and timed perfectly. All the professionals involved are friendly and courteous. No one feels left out. Great for anyone. The stingray area is crowded but you are able to stay with your group and all get a turn with pictures and feeding.

Book your tour with this company, you will NOT be disappointed! The group was small (only 13 of us - we were seeing that most companies had boats packed with groups of AT LEAST 30). Angel and Alex were our guides, they were knowledgeable and tonnes of fun! Starfish Point is very relaxing - we even experienced some tarpon swimming around us if you walk out to waist high water. Stingray City was my husband’s favourite part with Alex helping us hold the stingrays and Angel taking pictures for us. Last stop was snorkelling at the reef (my favourite part). Angel stayed on the boat and pointed me in the direction of a gorgeous turtle! We were at each stop for about an half hour to forty mins. Overall we couldn’t have imagined a better way to experience these stops. Thank you Angel, Alex, and Rowan Watersports!!
It was amazing they picked us up and brought us on a bus to the boats went snorkeling , saw star fish and swam with the sting rays

Drove to the docks. Plenty of free car parking. Boat was in reasonable condition. The crew were very friendly. There is water and one type of canned juice available which is included in the tour. Went to the snorkelling are first but it was extremely choppy water that day and so we didn't snorkel but most people did. Snorkel masks and fins were provided if you didn't have your own. We then went to Stingray city and the crew helped hold and feed some rays. Then went to Starfish point where you were left for 20 mins to wander in the very shallow water and look at Starfish. We were told that the crew will help us with snorkelling since we were not great swimmers and this never materialised since they were busy with others due to the choppy water. They also had a crew member who took photos for you to buy at end of the trip. Overall would still recommend it.

You will have a great time. The crew is the most knowledgeable about the island. I felt very safe with them they were about safety first. This resulted in a great time by all. The price was very reasonable and I recommend them to everyone.

From start to finish, the Stingray City tour, Starfish Beach stop, and snorkeling were absolutely unforgettable. Getting to interact with the stingrays was incredible, but being able to actually hold starfish at Starfish Beach was such a unique and special moment—especially sharing it with my boyfriend and my son. It truly made the whole experience feel magical and something we’ll never forget. The snorkeling was also amazing—crystal clear water, so many beautiful fish, and just an all-around perfect setting. But what really made this tour stand out were our guides, Angel and Alex. They were beyond incredible—so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. They made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and had the best time possible. Without a doubt, the BEST tour guides we’ve ever had! This was our absolute favourite thing we did on the entire trip, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Cayman Islands. If you’re thinking about booking—DO IT. You won’t regret it! 🌊
