Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again with my family. The beach is very small, and when we arrived it was completely inaccessible due to construction. Heavy machinery and the constant noise also made relaxing by the pool difficult. Although this was mentioned on the website, I didn’t notice it, and the hotel never sent any notification before our stay. That said, the staff is exceptionally friendly, especially Jaydon, who is always smiling, proactive, and genuinely helpful. The Sunday brunch is fun, with unlimited food and drinks, but the regular breakfast is quite basic and doesn’t even include ham or cheese. We ended up moving to another hotel with beach access, and it was definitely the right decision.

The Marriott platinum / elite free breakfast (also for Amex / Chase cards I believe) here has gotten a lot worse. It used to be a limited buffet and is now a much smaller and confusing breakfast offering. I would say half the value of breakfast is gone. Just FYI for fellow frequent travelers. Also can confirm other reviews that Marriott / Amex / Chase status room upgrades are sparse and minimal here. Don’t expect anything crazy. Solid stay but I would prefer the Westin nearby for similar price and beach access. Triple check your room charges at the end, as I had someone (steal) order an expensive bottle of liquor on our room. The Marriott staff was kind enough to void the charge.
My stay at Grand Cayman Marriott Resort was absolutely fantastic and one of the most relaxing Caribbean experiences I have ever had. The location is excellent, offering beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and easy access to the famous Seven Mile Beach area. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt tropical, welcoming, and relaxing. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights was enjoying the stunning ocean views, especially at sunset when the sky and water created breathtaking colors. The pool area, beachfront setting, and outdoor spaces made it easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of Grand Cayman. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding hospitality throughout my stay. Overall, a wonderful Caribbean resort experience relaxing, scenic, and perfect for enjoying the beauty of Grand Cayman.
I had an absolutely incredible stay at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. From the moment I arrived, everything felt relaxing, beautiful, and effortlessly convenient. One of my favorite features was the stunning outdoor courtyard at the center of the property. It’s a lush tropical oasis filled with towering palm trees and a picturesque pond where turtles peacefully swim throughout the day. This was the view from my room, and waking up to such a serene setting every morning was truly special. The room itself featured elegant island-inspired décor, creating a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere, and the spacious balcony was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening while taking in the beautiful scenery. The resort's beachfront area is equally impressive. Just steps from the hotel, you'll find a gorgeous beach, a large pool, plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, and a beachfront restaurant serving great food and drinks. The service was exceptional, whether relaxing by the pool or on the beach, drinks and food could be ordered right from your chair and delivered promptly by the attentive staff. For those looking for adventure, jet skis and floating water activities are readily available, making it easy to enjoy everything the crystal-clear Caribbean waters have to offer. Another huge advantage is the location. The resort is surrounded by dozens of restaurants, shops, and a nearby shopping plaza, making it easy to explore the area without traveling far. Despite being centrally located, it still feels like a private tropical retreat. It's also conveniently close to the airport, making arrival and departure stress-free. This resort truly offers the perfect combination of luxury, convenience, relaxation, and island charm. I can't wait to return!
Beautiful property located right on the beach—with a pool and restaurant overlooking waters, plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and both motorized (paid) and non-motorized boats. Some of the advertised activities included in the resort fee were unavailable (bummer! But we still had a great time!) I was particularly impressed by the GoPro rentals (free, but FCFS) and the special touch of having sunscreen and aloe Vera available pool side. Rooms were beautiful and associates were kind. They also have cool activities throughout the week, for example we did a fun rum-tasting with the fantastic and knowledgeable Dena from the bar (highly recommended!). We skipped the 50KYD (60USD) breakfast, and grabbed much more reasonably priced food nearby. Finally, there is ample, free parking. Note: this is the only Marriott property I’ve been to that doesn’t provide welcome water bottles (the Westin just down the road does). Not bad, but just something to prepare for. They do have water pitchers in the rooms. Also, there is no M Lounge.
