Our tour was advertised as a four beaches tour with air conditioned car and English speaking driver. The driver’s English was very poor. He did not understand us. The car was old and driver had his window down at all times. The windows were so dirty we could hardly see out of them. We felt there was no air conditioning and we were only taken to 3 beaches and returned to ship 2 hours early.

Itinerary
Located adjacent to the town of Trou aux Biches, this stunning beach offers great conditions for both swimming and snorkelling as it is blessed with calm water and gently shelving sands. There is an abundance of authentic street food stands, as well as a string of cafes next to the beach, so this is a great place to enjoy lunch if you're hungry.
Welcome to one of the longest beaches on the island! Popular with locals on the weekend, but much quieter during the week, this beach offers shallow turquoise waters and a backdrop of casuarina trees. It also features several food options that you can savour while soaking in the beauty of the beach.
Many visitors haven't heard of this hidden jewel located near the town of Grand Bay. Just 80 meters in length, this beach is surrounded by hidden coves and rocky boulders.
Located next to the resort town of Pereybere, this is one of the island's most popular beaches among Mauritians. The water tends to be slightly deeper here than most other beaches, but is still very calm. There are plenty of food stalls along be beach and cafes and restaurants in the town of Pereybere.

I enjoy the beach hopping, The beach we great and the guide was very informative. Great driving skills and the air conditioning in the car helped with the hot weather.
Swimming with turtles, having a very close view of them, snorkelling, watching fish and snake at the bottom of the sand, swimming at other sandy beaches of the abovementioned tour, having a lunch at a traditional food restaurant.
I managed to go to Mont Choisy, Pereybere, Balaclava, Tamarin, La Prenuese and Flic en Flac beaches. Each beach has its advantages what I remember about Tamarin is the warm water.
Great beach, various nautical activities to do on site. Foot truk on site to try with various dishes for every taste.
Sortie très complète dans le nord de l’île Maurice. Guide très agréable. Il nous a même mené dans un petit resto sympa!
This beach is described as one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Indeed it is a very long white sandy beach bordered by pine trees and bathed in a turquoise lagoon. Personally it's not our favorite, not wild enough for us. Nevertheless it is absolutely beautiful.
Excellent excursion with very helpful guide. As soon as we disembarked from the ship we found our driver who was waiting for us without wasting time bargaining with the taxi drivers waiting outside the port. I recommend this agency to everyone.
Captain Bobby brings you by boat swimming with turtles, admiring multicolored fish at the coral reef It also makes other outings Bobby is very reassuring to people who panic like me on a boat and respect the seabed You will find Bobby with his blue boat either on the beach of Mont Choisy or on the thatched pontoon between the beaches of Trou aux Biches and Mont Choisy
The tour was really for me alone. The driver was nice and accommodating. The pick up was on time at the hotel. Unfortunately, I only had 1 hour per beach. And the public beaches were not "insider tips". It's too bad. Because 2 of the beaches could have been saved. The tour lasted only 7 hours instead of the planned 8 hours. Two hours' drive from there. What I liked was that the driver drove especially to the Red Chapter and to a Hindu temple by the sea. He also stopped wherever I wanted to take a picture.
Maravillosa visita a unas playas increíbles, nuestro chófer súper atento a nosotras y muy simpático. Totalmente recomendable.
Beautiful beaches where to walk or just rest; the first is hole aux does, then you continue up north and you have the large beach of Mont Choisy , then the beach the more intimate toilet and finally pereybere . Note that on weekends these beaches are heavily frequented so prefer to go there during the week much quieter. also note that the waters are not very harvesting prefer rather blue bay in the south east of the island
You can't go to Mauritius without seeing the most beautiful beaches on the island. Trou aux does, Mont Choisy, Grand Baie, Pérébeyre and others.Clear and warm water. Beaches with fine sand and great photos to take. By talking to fishermen, they can offer you fishing parties, or just walks in their small boats. Very nice and worth the visit.
Beautiful variety of beaches: the most beautiful Mont Choisy, then Pereybere, hole aux does and finally the Cuvette... few attractions and the dirtiest.
We preferred the south because too many people and less wild Very nice though. We note that the quality tourist development makes lose the traditional and simple side of the rest of Mauritius.
Having a rental car, we crisscrossed the north of the island. The fishing village of the unhappy Cape is friendly and offers the mythical photograph of Mauritius with its red roof church. The descent of unfortunate cape westward took us to the villages of pereybere, Mont choisy grand bay and hole aux does. The beaches on this side of the island are pretty. It offers for lovers of seabed snorkeling quite pretty. The sea is extremely calm. The public beach of Grand Bay is arch frequented by boats and may not be the best place to land. Opt more for mont choisy or holes à la does. Beaches are quite frequent both by locals and tourists. Be careful of your business, though. Bag theft is quite common. Streetfood bcp in the area to eat the eternal samosa crispy chicken or a good refreshing ice cream. Have a good trip!
