Spent an enjoyable day with Santoosh touring the South of the island. Brimming full of useful knowledge and making as ire that I got the best experience notwithstanding my limited mobility. Worthy of a five star review

Wow what a fantastic day full of sights and experiences, exactly as we planned. The driver was very professional and helpfull and gave wonderfull suggestions to make our day even more memorable! Worth every cent!

Javid was an excellent guide and driver, giving us an interesting and informative day out. His knowledge of the flora and fauna of Pamplemousses Gardens was unexpected and incredibly interesting. Javid organised our day-we just told him what we wanted to do and did it in the best way. One of the best holiday trips we have ever had and a pleasure to meet such an experienced pleasant man.

We had a wonderful day. It was so much more than having a private car. Dinesh was incredibly knowledgeable and told us the history of Mauritius. He also helped us tailor the day to suit us. With three girls - 13, 10, 7 this was incredibly helpful. We went to Chamarel and saw the seven coloured earth and waterfall, Vanilla animal sanctuary where we fed the giant tortoises, we also did some gorgeous view points, black river gorge and the volcano. A really memorable day.

Our driver Gaetan Laval Nagain made sure we had a wonderful day and showed us so many beautiful places in Mauritius. He was very friendly and polite. We learned a lot about the history of the country and had so much fun. Thank you so much Gaetan for driving us around! 🙏🏻😊

We have done two private day trips exploring Mauritius, and both drivers were very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. Great to hear about the history of the island, the nature, and daily life. Highly recommended!

We went on a few excursions with Maurtourco in Mauritius. We had an excellent driver and guide, Ragoo. He ensured the trips were tailored to what we wanted to do, his knowledge and enthusiasm was exceptional and he really made the trips memorable for us.

Great tour seeing the real Mauritius. Sanjava (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) was fantastic - driver and tour guide rolled into one sharing historical, geological and modern day facts about all things Mauritius whether it was about the Arab, Dutch, French or English eras on Mauritius. Definitely worth considering if here!

We’ve just returned from a 2 week holiday in Mauritius in which did 4 excursions with Maurtourco. Our rep Avila at our hotel arranged a meeting on our first full day & was really helpful. She listened to what we wanted & got us booked onto excursions to match. She then stayed in touch to keep us updated with times etc. Our guides were great, in particular Vasant who we had a couple of times. He’s such a friendly guy, an absolute fountain of knowledge & went above and beyond to give us a really good experience of Mauritius, its culture & history. They also provided our airport transfers (sorry, can’t remember the drivers names) but they were great too & make the airport transfer a tour in itself. And importantly, they were all always on time, if not early.

We did three fantastic trips with Mautourco, the first a really fun catamaran trip to the North Islands followed by two 8 hour tours of the North and then South of the island. Vikash, our guide, was so brilliant on the first tour that we requested him on second tour too - we saw and learnt so much from Vikash through his informative, enthusiastic and fun delivery. 10 out of 10 and highly recommended

Javed drove us for both our tours - the first day round the north of the island, the second round the south. We’d had such a good experience on the first tour that we requested him for the second. Not only did we gain extensive knowledge of the island’s history, but the life and customs of the Mauritian people. Javed was more than willing to share with us stories about his own family. In fact, by the end of the second day, we felt we’d gained a friend. Can’t recommend Javed highly enough - but book your tour directly with Mautourco and leave out the middle man. (Kuoni’s rates were significantly higher than they needed to be.)

Our experience with Mautourco was an absolute nightmare and left a terrible first impression of Mauritius. We prepaid EUR 95 for an airport-to-hotel transfer for our family—including two young children—expecting to be greeted on arrival. Instead, no representative was there, no signage, no contact, and no support. After a long international flight, we were left stranded in the airport and forced to pay for our own taxi in cash. Mautourco later claimed we were a "no-show" because we didn’t locate their desk buried somewhere in the arrival hall. At no point did they try to reach us, and there was zero visible presence or assistance. Their excuse? A single vague sentence in the confirmation email instructing us to go to a counter—something you’d expect them to manage proactively, not leave to exhausted guests to figure out. Even worse, their customer service was cold and robotic. They refused a refund for a service they blatantly failed to deliver. They didn’t even bother to get my name or gender right in their email replies—calling me "Mrs" despite the fact that we had multiple face-to-face interactions with their staff during our stay, and it was clear I am a male traveler. This only highlights how little care or attention they pay to their guests. To anyone planning a trip to Mauritius: avoid Mautourco at all costs. If your hotel tries to book them for you, say no and find another provider. They are disorganized, indifferent, and completely unreliable. They turned what should have been a joyful start to our holiday into a frustrating and expensive ordeal.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Raggoo our amazing driver . Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge about Mauritius, we really appreciated it. We had a truly special day going up into the mountains, seeing the coloured rocks, the beautiful waterfalls, the Giant tortoises. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Rum tasting at Chameral. My co-worker and I recently had a tour in Mauritius through Mautourco and Nawshad was our guide / driver. It was a real pleasure having him show us around. He was very informative, friendly and always kept us in line with our schedule. We had a really great experience.

We booked a day tour through our very helpful Rep Imtiaz/. It was called the Wild South. Our Driver Joel was an excellent and informative guide, good fun and as he got to know us, tailored everything to our interests too. The tour was a great introduction to some beautiful natural spots and phenomenon, also including a visit and lunch at a Rum Distillery with tour and tastings. The whole day was very relaxed and yet still covered a huge amount from notable sights to funny little slices of Mauritian life pointed out by Joel. We are very grateful to him for his time and care in making sure that we enjoyed our day.

Ragoo is a total asset to this company and whatever you are paying him, it isn’t enough! Ragoo made our tour the best thing we did in Mauritius. He is so knowledgeable about Mauritian history, culture, flora and fauna, the list goes on and on! We transferred from Lux Grand Gaube to Lux Le Morne with sightseeing on the way. Ragoo was patient, helpful, answered all of our questions and some we didn’t even think to ask! We couldn’t have been looked after any better or learned as much from anyone else. We took the full day wild south tour in a private car. It was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend it - we seemed to fit so much into the day and saw so much of Mauritius but it didn’t feel rushed. We visited the volcano, Hindu temple, waterfall, 7 coloured earth and rum distillery (and more!). Vick our driver and tour guide was excellent- he was so knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we had a really fun and enjoyable day out! Mauritius is absolutely beautiful, the food provided on the trip was nice in a restaurant with outstanding views!

We had 3 trips with Mautourco, for all of these trips we had Raggoo. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable about everything we did. We wanted a true sense of Mauritius and he gave this experience to us which we really enjoyed and appreciated. He was very punctual and friendly. We could not recommend this company and our tour guide Raggoo enough!

Two tours booked with Mautourco during our holiday to Mauritius. Michele, our rep at Victoria Beachcomber, was extremely professional, cheerful and helpful, and answered all our many questions. Our tour guide for both days (such an excellent first day we requested him the second day), Mohamed, was absolutely brilliant, and showed us as much as he could of the island during our North and South tours, using his local knowledge to give us a more 'authentic' view of the island. He took the time to explain the history and culture of the island, and not just the tourist side of things. Our drivers to and from the airport, Thierry and Kam, were also really friendly, and the quality of the vehicles used by this company was extremely high. Many thanks for making our holiday so memorable.

Cannot recommend MaurtourCo highly enough, especially if it’s your first time to Mauritius and you’re not sure what’s around. We were celebrating our honeymoon and split our journey between the North and South of the island, and MTC were amazing throughout both legs of our stay. Our reps Sheela and Mikaela were incredibly helpful and accommodating; knowing it was our first time to the island, they gave us some local advice and excellent tips to ensure we got the most out of our time. They were constantly in communication with us so that we had no worries and knew exactly what was going on at all times, even when the weather meant plans had to change. We booked a number of excursions through them and all of them went beyond our expectations: West coast speed boat ride, snorkelling and dolphin spotting, with Cpt Julian and Denny - both guys were friendly, chatty and gave us pointers and choices throughout our time with them that just made the experience. East coast speed boat tour, which included Creole BBQ, snorkelling and drinks on the beach, led by Charla. Also an amazing time - everybody visiting the island should ensure they make time for this experience. Historical tour of the north coast, including Port Louis and the botanical garden, with our private guide Ragoo, who was so knowledgable and had so much to teach us about the island and its people and culture - we learned loads and had a fantastic experience. And all of these incredible excursions and experiences were very reasonably priced, reliably and locally run, and were led by fantastic guides. Please don’t change anything MaurTourCo, you’re doing great as you are!

We stayed at the Victoria Beachcomber resort, where we booked a personal tour of south island with Raggoo. What a knowledgeable, patient and genuine person he is. He took us around the southwest of the island, all the time recounting the history of Mauritius and its people, interspersed with interesting stories and anecdotes. he was flexible on the tour and tailored the trip to suit us. we felt that we had a real feel for the island and saw so many interesting sites. Yes, we did buy some rum at the Rumerie! Thank you Raggoo. Big thanks and a recommendation also goes to Corail Helicopters. We had the 45 minute tour taking in the mountains and the underwater water fall. Just magical. thanks to the staff and the pilot, who all contributed to making it a most extraordinary experience. I would also like to thank Veni, who organised our trips and the transport between hotel and Airport. She took extra care to keep us up to date informed at all times by Whatsapp message.

What a truly magical place. Trou Aux Biches is a great resort with some amazing staff who made us feel very special Mautourco organised two trips for us that were both entertaining and informative Our thanks go to Audrey who organised the trips, Jose who captained the catamaran ( he deserves his own TV show ) and especially Javed who gave us a guided tour of the island. He is knowledgeable and truly charming

We were collected by Raggoo our driver from the Sugar Beach Hotel for a day tour. He took us the south where we saw the waterfalls, giant tortoises and visited a cashmere shop. We had lunch on the peak and then back through the beautiful scenery to the rum distillery. Raggoo is a highly experienced, knowledgeable guide and looked after us so well. My husband is partially disabled with impaired mobility and he made sure he was safe and adjusted the tour accordingly. His knowledge was fantastic and he was able to answer all our questions. He personally took us round the rum distillery so we didnt have to join the large groups which would have meant standing around a great deal more. We learnt loads and would highly recommend. He even took us shopping before we went back to the hotel. Much appreciated.

We hired a car and did the southern tour eith our guide, Ragu, he was an absolute star and told us everything we wanted to know since the start of the island and all the historical details! it was such a pleasure sharing theday with us!

We booked our honeymoon through Kuoni who then organised all private transfers from hotels we stayed at to the airport and all transfers on booked trips through Mautourco. I cannot speak highly enough about all transfers we had during our trip in Mauritius with these lovely people. The drivers made us feel safe while driving and were always offering knowledge and facts about their lovely home and island. We learned so much about Mauritius through all the journeys we had been on and their pride for their country really shone through. We loved learning lots of tit bits of information and asking questions on just about anything to do with Mauritius. As part of a transfer from one hotel to another (Chamarel to Belle Mare), we booked a day with a driver where we were taken to Chamarel waterfall, 7 coloured earth, Black River Gorges, Hindu temple, run distillery and cashmere shop before being dropped off at our next hotel. We got a lot in one day! The driver was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and I particularly liked the fact that we were given some time to explore the sites for ourselves after he told us a bit about them. He also told us what to do and what not to do at each site - handy for tourists in an unknown territory especially at the Hindu temple. We were never forced to buy anything, it was totally our choice to visit local markets and we didn't feel at all pressured to do anything we didn't want to. The trip was completely tailored to our needs. I would highly recommend booking transfers and trips through this company, you'll learn a lot about the country with the best and safest drivers.

Wonderful trip, driver was very helpful and explained a lot about local history and nature. Delicious lunch in restaurant with gorgeous views. We managed to see a lot in one day.

Felt like these guys (CRC) were trying to rip us off when we returned our hire car after 8 days. They said the front passenger rim was damaged by us (very small scuff on edge of rim), however the guy who handed the car over to us pointed this out and thankfully my wife took a pic of all the scuffs/scratches/dents in the car before we drove it. When we returned the car a different guy tried to claim that the damage to the rim was not recorded and we would be liable (an excess for damage of £1600!!!) When my wife showed him the pic and the date/time it was taken he was somewhat annoyed as if he was caught out. The service after this was very poor....the guy taken us back to the airport did not load our luggage into the van nor did he take it out for us upon arrival at the airport. Compare this to when they collected us to get the car hire they were so polite and loaded the luggage in and out and we're really helpful. Don't think I would rent a car from these guys again.

Nicholas our driver collected us from the airport to take us to Mauricia Beachcomber Resort and Spa. The car was in great condition and we had a pleasant drive to the North of the island. However, Nicholas our driver, was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge on absolutely every aspect of the island from local cuisine to the flora and fauna made the hour drive go by in an instant. Would ask for him by name next time we visit :)

Had a great trip today with Ben our private taxi tour round the south west of the island, saw lots of beautiful scenery inducing the black river gorge national park and chambered seven coloured earth Geopark. Well worth having a private taxi as you don’t have to wait in queues with a big group can take as long or short a time as you like at the different attractions. We finished off with the rum distillery, fab end to the trip. We really enjoyed the day, lovely to see some of Mauritius. Thank you

This was an informative , amazing trip all around the south west ( gris gris, Chameral , Black River Gorge, various view points, Rum tasting,Le Morne and more). The whole experience was brilliant. On time collection and departure, with an excellent knowledgeable driver. He ensured we managed to cram in every sight we wanted to see and made the day fun and full of adventure.

We did the Wild South tour with the guide Fayaz. It was a great excursion and our guide was really great. He has lots of knowledge about the history of his country. The places that we visited were really incredible. I can really recommend this tour.

We did the tour of the South West with Vikash (I think that was his name) he was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us a lot of information which was very interesting. I would recommend this tour.

We had Vikash as our driver for 2 all day trips and he was the best guide we have ever had. Massively knowledgeable, fun, helpful and great company. We feel like we have learned a huge amount about Mauritius now. Vikash was a friend to us.

We are a family of five (three adult children) and dint want to just see the Resort we were staying at.So we decided to take a private driver and at the same time he was our privat tour Guide, history teacher and entertainer. Javed-Kahn made this trip 6 unforgettable for us! Not only dis he show us the islamd but he brought us closer to the very divers culture of this beautiful island. He promised us at the start we would return tired but with a smile on our face to the resort and he was totally right. Thank you Javed-Kahn for this amazing tour and for having so much patience in answering all our questions!!!!

An extensive tour through most of the island. One of our more enjoyable shore excursions. The volcano was acting up a little bit to make the trip a little more interesting.

Yesterday we were privileged to be the guests on your ‘Pauce Mauricienne Exclusive’ tour that was recommended to us and booked by our Virgin holidays representative Imtiaz Dookhun. From beginning to end the day was fabulous! Our driver and guide, Vikash, was amazing. He made us feel like VIPs from the outset. He was personable, kind, knowledgable and incredibly helpful and accommodating. At all times we felt that the pace of the day was ours. Thanks to Vikash, this was the best holiday excursion we have ever undertaken in 29-years of marriage. The Chamarel Rum Distillery is amazing. The included lunch was the best we have eaten in Mauritius and the rum tasting excellent. We visited the sacred lake and temple. Vikash’s knowledge was amazing and so interesting. We visited and viewed so many natural sites including the national Park, the 7-coloured earth, Black River Gorge and waterfall. We saw monkey and giant tortoises and even watched the temple cats catching fish (that part was unplanned). This was an amazing day trip. Thank you.

We used Mautourco several times during our holiday. They provided both transfers to/from airport. These went smoothly and the drivers were on time. We hired a driver for 8 hours for a private excursion where we were able to tailor the day to our needs. We were very impressed with the SUV which was high spec, comfortable and it even had its own WiFi which was very helpful. We travelled to Il aux Aigrettes, then to the North to the botanical gardens, Grand Bae and Cap Malheureux. We also took the day trip on the tour of the South. Our guide Bandhoo was lovely, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed the day where we visited Grand Bassin, Chamarel Waterfall & seven coloured earth, rum distillery and dormant volcano. Thank you Bandhoo you were ace. All in all, we would be happy to recommend Mautourco.

We just took a tour of the southern part of the island with Raggoo as an excellent guide!! We had a wonderful day. He passionately told us the history of Mauritius, introduced us to local crafts, the different cultures, and more specifically his own with a visit to Grand Bassin. In short, a day we will not forget. Thank you, Raggoo, for your kindness.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, we settled a taxi for 5 hours for a transfer from hotel to hotel, we were allowed to stop only at one place all for 6,700 rupees; more unfriendly welcome; we felt we were fooled since we enjoyed the transport only 3 hours; we gave our feeling and in reaction they shifted us an hour for the transfer to the airport on the last day, making us arrive 1h30 before the time of the flight, whereas the delay is 3 hours. A lot of pettiness at this tour operator that I obviously advise against.

Very nice day with a driver at the top on the very good advice of Avila ( MONTOURCO representative at the hotel ) 149 € for 3 people ( couple and a friend ) for an individual taxi ++++++

we were lucky enough to have been accompanied on the tour “unfading tradition” by Sebastian: very nice, super available to answer any question and able to make us appreciate this wonderful island even more.

During our stay in Flic en Flac we turned to this agency for our excursions. Navim was great at explaining the various excursions and options. Due to bad weather, we postponed excursion to Deer Island and Navim was great at rescheduling everything. For three days we toured the island by private car with Joel: a very good Italian speaking driver, nice and who introduced us to the island and its culture.

Superb day in the wild south, with driver and Jared guide in private. Beautiful places and beautiful photos taken (land of 7 colors , the large basin and temple, Chamarel, Rumerie). Jared driver very friendly and smiling , lots of explanations and anecdotes about the area and Mauritius. Thank you for a wonderful day.

We were able to enjoy airport transfers hotel as well as 2 excursions during our stay. The drivers of the transfers were very punctual and friendly. We were lucky enough to be accompanied by Deepak on our excursions. He knows his island very well and shares it with us throughout the day. Thanks again to him.

We made some excursions via Mautourco during our stay. It was very good. Then came our last excursion with a driver I will name: Eddy GRENADE. What an encounter!! A golden man, passionate and in love with his island. A day filled with memories, surprises and sharing. A great life lesson... I hope my opinion will be brought back to him. Thanks, Eddy.
