Wine Tasting In Granada

We had Katia for the second time. She was very friendly & chatty. Katia was very knowledgable and hospitable. Ensuring our preferences were met. We went with another family & we all had a really lovely time & a good laugh. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Katia for a lovely evening had by all 😊

My guide Katia hosted a great food tour! The food and wine was delicious and she did a great job explaining each item’s connection to the local cuisine. I attended as a solo traveler and had a wonderful time with the group!

Katia did a wonderful job educating us on the wines and history of Spain! We had a terrific time! The wine and food were superb! Very filling, plan on this being your dinner if you book! Highly recommend. We enjoyed visiting with the other travelers. The small group was nice!

I had a lovely time with our guide Katia who has been in Granada for 25+ years and previously was associated with a top local restaurant. We tasted 2 lovely olive oils that she brought including the acclaimed Hojiblanca from Rincon de la Subbetica. I enjoyed a local Granada tinto as well as 2 tintos de Ribuera del Duero and 2 tintos de Rioja. The Costilla de Cerdo was wonderful at Casa Castaneda. 3.5 hours flew by. I highly recommend.

Katia was full of interesting anecdotes and knowledge. The portions of wine and food were very generous and everything was delicious. We would recommend!

The food and wine were delicious (and generous portions). Katia was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. She also emailed us photos from the evening, and even the recipe for one of the dishes we tried.

This was the absolute highlight of the trip so far in Spain! The wines (sublime!) N food pairings (one dish was a 10th century dish!)..and the knowledge Katia shares..about what actually goes into this level of quality..n some of the culture behind it..was really wonderful. This was a fantastic and informative event. Katia is incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did we learn about wine, we also learned about olive oil and Spanish ham. I love that we can take this knowledge home as it will definitely change how I shop for oil and Spanish wine. The food was also excellent. So, be sure to show up hungry. We highly recommend this tour.

Simply fabulous!!! We had the pleasure of spending time with Katia, who is most knowledgable and delightful. We tasted wines, olive oils, and the most delicious food which created an educational and fun event for all. We learned a great deal in a limited amount of time and enjoyed each wine, Olive oil, and food pairing tremendously. Well Worth the VERY reasonable price !!! Would strongly recommend.

Katia was an excellent host; she was extremely knowledgable, friendly and put us at ease. Although two members of our group arrived late, Katia brought them up to speed so we could all eat and drink together. The food and wine were excellent, some great recommendations.Overall, a lovely evening had by all of us. We would all recommend this activity when visiting Granada. With lots of giggles too.

We really enjoyed our evening of Wine, Tapas and Olive Oil tasting. Kate was very knowledgeable and tailored the food to match our tastes. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Kate had printed sheets to demonstrate what she was telling us about the wine which was a nice touch. The tapas were really good and there was plenty be of it - do not eat before this experience! After the tasting was finished we stayed and enjoyed a bottle of the wine we had enjoyed most. I would fully recommend this experience.

This was a fun tour with amazing food and excellent wines. We learned about the wines of Granada and the surrounding area, and also about olive oil. The guide, Katia, was excellent, and the people who joined us on the tour were great dinner companions. Highly recommended.

We had a fun, informative and relaxed evening with Katia as our food and wine Sherpa. Our group of four booked spots on the Wine Tasting package and ended up having a private session with Katia. She was incredibly knowledgable and took us to a fantastic restaurant where we tasted four wines and a sherry. Four course dinner was also included in the package (which we did not expect!) as well as olive oil tasting! We loved the wines and olive oils we tried and will definitely be keeping an eye out for them in the future.

What a wonderful evening we had with Katia, her knowledge and kindness was abundant. She took the time to ask us exactly what we were looking for in our time together and she provided and excellent experience. She was constantly checking with us to make sure we liked everything and and that we were enjoying ourselves. We tried so many dishes and wines that I didn’t even know that existed. It was wonderful to be with someone who has been in Granada over 20 years and ask them all the questions we had about Spanish cuisine. We left very full and happy. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed ourselves immensely

Booked this wine tasting for our family of four with two college students. Katia was flexible on the time of the tour to accommodate our schedule. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about Spanish wines, olive oils, food and culture. We tried four very good Spanish wines along with four Spanish tapas with a generous portion for each person. It was very enjoyable to sit and chat with her as we learned more about Spain. Absolutely recommend this for any small group looking for a relaxed and high-quality experience in Granada. We were very glad that we booked with Spain Food Sheroas.

Fabulous wine tasting and more! The more was all the food pairings with each glass of wine and the olive oil tasting. Katia also customized the tour based on each of our preferences in wine and food. The wine and the food were both excellent. We did not need dinner afterwards. Katia was warm, friendly and so knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience and we can’t thank Katia enough for her creativity and expertise. Honestly- this tour exceeded our expectations!

Katia was amazing on our guided wine tasting experience of Spanish wines. We not only tasted five great wines (and by taste we mean full glasses), we also tried four different olive oils (including the topped rank one), and had multiple large tapas (not shared, we each had 3). We also learned so much about the various wine regions and how to order Spanish wine at restaurants! I highly recommend this tour!

From the moment we arrived, attention to detail and the warm welcome created a friendly atmosphere. The selection of wines and olive oil was outstanding, and each tasting was a delicious journey for the senses. We learned a lot and appreciated the opportunity to explore new varieties (especially for oil) as well discover new nuances . A combination of the finest quality oils and wines, elucidated with an enchanting narrative by Katia, captured the attention of the attendees during the whole experience. Furthermore, I would like to remark the quality of service and the personalized attention given to all participants. It was clear that the goal was to ensure that each person enjoyed the experience to the fullest, which we certainly did!

This was an excellent activity to get to know Granada and its food and wine culture a little better. We were the only ones booked on our date and therefore enjoyed a private tour. Katia was very nice and knew a lot of interesting things about the region, the wines and the different foods. The evening was unhurried and relaxed and a good way to just wind down while also learning something. The food and wine were both excellent and we enjoyed ourselves very much. It is also very helpful to get the list of wines and food, as well as restaurant reccomendations after the event. Since the activity started early in the evening by Granada standards, the restaurant was empty for a good portion of our stay and even towards the end it was not overly crowded so you could still enjoy conversation and listen to all the interesting facts. Whether you are in this city for the first time or have been a few times before and want to learn something new, I can highly reccomend taking this tour!

Our family group had a fantastic evening with our guide Katia. She expertly led us through a tasting of four wines paired with four foods. She was very knowledgeable about wine production, pairing and tasting. The restaurant she chose was very good and she made the evening very memorable! I would recommend this activity to anyone that enjoys food and wine.
