I had signed up for the group tour but not enough people signed up so I was given the option of a refund, tapas tour or private tour for an additional fee. We opted for the private tour and it was great! Our guide, Emma, was kind and very knowledgeable about the history of Granada. We learned so much more about Granada than just where the great food spots were. Would 100% recommend the tour, but if you can afford, opt for the private.

The food tour through Granada was fantastic. Emma is so knowledgeable about food and Granada it made the experience and her perfect pace of the trip exceptional. If you want to experience food then Emma is the guide you want!
Enjoyable relaxed conversation and experience. We did lots of tastings at different places and found out a lot we wouldn't have known about otherwise. And we didn't need lunch afterwards!
Excellent day time food tour. Our tour guide Adrian was very knowledgeable, informative and engaging. This tour is a wonderful way to familiarize yourself of excellent places to purchase and consume fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, olive oil, cheese, cured and cooked pork in Granada. During my extended stay in Granada, I’ve returned and frequented a number of the places visited with this tour. You will have an opportunity to eat Churros and hot thick chocolate at the oldest churros place in Granada, snack on sweets and savories from a historical delicatessen and later enjoy a variety of tapas and drinks in the old market. A very enjoyable, filling and enriching late morning/early afternoon activity. You will not need to eat lunch after this tour! If you have time during your visit to Granada, add this to your agenda of worthwhile activities to do in this charming town.
This was a great food tour, starting with breakfast and ending with tapas and drinks. Our guide spoke fluent English and was so engaging. She knew everything about Grenada. This was a great experience.
Emma vas very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and its history as well as the shops and stops on our tour

Delicious food and lovely company. Our tour guide, Emma, was so warm, welcoming, and knowledgable. Excellent for the whole family.
We had a fantastic tour with Emma. She was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great knowledge of the city. It was a great way to spend the morning with Granada and see a whole new part of the city. The food was great, as well!
Lovely experience with a local who speaks English like she was born doing it. Great food, and shop owners seemed genuinely happy to have us.
Our guide Emma was just great. Really knowledgable and interesting. Lovely tour to some fascinating small shops and really interesting insights into how locals shop, eat and cook.
Juan Miguel (Food lover tour) of Granada 🇪🇸 Amazing food tour, various flavours and delicacies of Spain. Special thanks to Juan Miguel for his professionalism, punctuality, expertise, knowledge and above all friendliness. We truly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend Juan Miguel 🇪🇸
What a great experience--everything was so well organized, so delicious, and we learned so much about the city and its culture from the guide. Definitely worth it, will recommend!
Super chill tour. We hit a fruit stand with crazy-good local stuff, tried old-school sweets, and then got a legit ham-cutting demo with wine. Ended with incredible market tapas. Easy, tasty morning.
An exceptional morning experience. The guide’s knowledge of local culinary traditions was impressive, and each stop was thoughtfully curated. The century-old sweet shop was a highlight, as was the expertly executed ham-cutting demonstration. A delightful introduction to Granada’s gastronomy.
I was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that is Granada’s food. First the churros hugged me. Then the fruit woke me up. The sweet shop? I ascended. The ham demo? I bonded with a leg of pork. Finished with tapas that made me question why I don’t live here. Five stars.
Don't miss this tour! Felt like touring the market with a buddy who knows all the good spots. The old sweet store was full of history and so charming. Then we hopped over to the mountain-products place where the owner taught us to slice jamón properly—so fun. Loved trying local products and that insanely good olive oil. Wrapped up with homey, delicious tapas inside the market.
Book it, don’t hesitate! Super fun and relaxed. Loved the fruit tasting and the ham + wine shop with the impressive ham-cutting demo. Ended with tasty tapas. Easy recommendation!
This tour fed me so much I forgot lunch was a real thing. The fruit was amazing, the sweet shop was dangerously tempting, and the ham lesson truly made me feel like a local. The market tapas at the end sealed the deal. Would happily do it again.
So good! Really enjoyable experience, great food, and met new people along the way. The guide kept everything fun and easygoing, and the food was consistently excellent. The sweet shop had so much character, and the ham + wine stop was genuinely memorable. Left very full and very happy and full of fun facts too. Throughly recommend.
This tour was everything. Churros = fire, local fruit was next level, and the sweet shop had me buying snacks like a maniac. The ham + wine stop? Unreal. And the tapas at the end… I mean, come on. Granada wins.
We loved this market tour! Starting the day with churros and thick chocolate was pure comfort. The fruit was such a surprise—delicious mangoes! The century-old sweet shop was gorgeous, and the ham-cutting lesson with wine was the absolute highlight. Such a fun, flavorful way to explore the city.
Great tour. Good pacing, generous tastings, and interesting stops. Loved the historic sweet shop and the jamón demonstration. The tapas at the end were a perfect finish. Well worth spending the morning on this tour.
The best way to spend your morning and discover Granada Really good vibes on this tour. The churros were amazing, the fruit was super fresh, and the sweet shop felt like stepping into another era. The ham and wine stop was a standout. Ended full and happy with great tapas.
I've been on many food tours, but this one's authenticity and high-quality market stops were a real highlight. The food was thoughtfully chosen and every bite was a treat for the senses--super fresh, super tasty. Ended with a couple market tapas and called it a perfect morning.
Highly recommend! More than just a food tour, this was a cultural deep dive. Our guide connected the food to the local history and family businesses we visited in a fascinating way. The ham-cutting lesson was unforgettable and the food was delicious.
Great tour! Great morning for all of us. The kids annihilated the churros and chocolate, but the surprise favorite was the ham-cutting demo—they were actually into it! We loved the local fruit and the visit to the over-100-year-old sweet shop. The olive-oil tasting was top-notch. Finished full and happy with tasty market tapas.
Extremely friendly and diverse food tour. I recommend!
