Emma is a Granadina with an encyclopaedic knowledge of her home city and its rich, historic food scene. The tour is more structured than most, and it focused on dishes shaped by multicultural influences and working-class traditions that I'd never have found alone, made with incredible local produce and each paired with a well-chosen drink. The group was small, which encouraged real engagement. Highly recommended.
Our guide Juan Miguel was just fantastic, very knowledgeable. We visited 4 tapas spots and the food was substantial and delicious. A great introduction to Granada and its food. And very reasonably priced.
Hadrien our guide was an absolute delight with his knowledge and passion for all things Granada and Andalusia. Great stops, excellent drink and great tapas... Very enjoyable with 6 of us on the 3 hour plus tour Highly recommend
Had a great time with guide Emma and a small group of 7. She took us to places locals eat at with a really good variety of tapas and nice drinks for each. It was a very fun evening, highly recommended.
This was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Our host, Emma, was incredible, and the food made with fresh, local produce was simply amazing. Getting to meet new people, try authentic new dishes, and truly experience Spain was unforgettable. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great time!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her commentary. The stops were places that locals frequent.
This was a great food tour! Juan, our guide, was very friendly and engaging! The tour not only provided delicious food and drinks, but also the local culture behind them, which was super interesting! I would highly recommend!
Excellent food tour. Lots to eat and see!
The overall experience was fantastic. Emma was very knowledgeable, cordial, and entertaining. The food was chosen well, and so were the restaurants.
Due to the historic nature of the city the tour involves walking on uneven pavements at times. Our guide Emma was informative, and being local to the area was able to give useful insights and tips of places to visit. The food was chosen to be typical of the region, and the venues were varied.
Very nice trip. Well planed. A lotto of additional knowledge.
Wonderful evening of food, drink and knowledge
Excellent tapas tour with Emma, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Granada. We tried many different types of delicious Spanish food and drink and got a great tour of various parts of the city. Highly recommend this tour!
What a fun way to explore the city! My friend and I had already taken two tours in Granada, and this tour allowed us to see even more of the beautiful city and learn even more about historical and cultural fun facts. Our tour guide paid close attention to our needs and interests, recommended excellent beverages, and left us feeling like we had a true insider scoop of the city. Highly recommend!
Our guide Emma was excellent. A native Granadan who has love in many different places, she was a wonderful guide to the food, culture and history of Granada. The tour took in three spots, with various offerings of tapas in each, plus a final tea house with delicious sweets. Emma was great at keeping the conversation in our group flowing and a superb guide.
Had a great food tour with Adrien. Very informative, knowledgeable about the interplay of Spain’s history and food. Truly felt like he wanted us to enjoy the walk, the food/drink and the conversation.
Amazing and fabulous food tour and we had such an amazing time. The food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend. Thanks you
This was such a great tour, we loved trying all the different tapas and drinks. Stuffed at the end of the night! Emma was such an amazing host! We loved her! She gave us background on Granada, Spanish culture, tips on where to visit, etc. It felt like going out to eat with old friends instead of a tour with strangers. Such a wonderful experience!
This tour was amazing. The food was excellent. Emma, our guide, clearly loves her city. She chose foods representative of Granada and explained the history behind each. And as we walked along the route, she provided an excellent history lesson. We had just the right amount of time at each of our four stops.
We loved touring the Centro area and the variety of foods and history of each dish and drink was amazing! Our guide was Juan Miguel and he was a great resource for all things Granada and the food and drink that we got to taste.
We had a wonderful time on our tapas tour with Juan Miguel. The food was delicious, and we went to local spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Juan Miguel was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
Juan Miguel was our guide for this food tour and his warmth, enthusiasm and expertise were most welcome. We visited four amazing venues, at least two of which we would not have found on our own. All four venues delivered great food and drinks, which Juan Miguel ensured were paired. Our favourite venue was one of the oldest in the city, and the evening ended in an Arab tea house with a magical view.
This was a great little crawl, Emma really knows her stuff and is extremely knowledgable. I love these types of tours because they aren't just about what you eat, they're also about history and they create context and really ground you into the city. We had several wonderful dishes. I would also recommend their morning market tour, it's wonderful. Hadrien was our guide and is passionate about history and we were stuffed with great food while learning a lot. He's also a great guide. This is a solid group, I highly recommend them. You get to hear history, eat really good food while walking through a gorgeous city. The groups are also small, which is a big plus, and it makes them intimate.
Emma was a lovely guide happy to answer any questions. The quality of the food and drink was really good. Emma was able to give some history behind the food as well and I might not necessarily find these places on my own thank you!
Intimate group of twelve, allowed for people to meet each other and spend a lovely evening in conversation while eating great food and learning about local Granada traditions and gastronomy. Juan Miguel, our Tapas tour guide provided a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere while sharing historical facts and recommendations on wine and food. We highly enjoyed ourselves and considered this Tapas tour a very memorable and one of the greatest highlights of our visit to Granada. We highly recommend this experience and know you will not be disappointed.
Juan Miguel took us to many fantastic spots most of which we would not have found on our own. We had a varied sample of local specialties. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!
Such a lovely experience. Our host was kind, knowledgeable, and very fun. I love these tours.
This was so fun and made me feel like a local and gave me friends for the trip
Juan Miguel is an absolute gem! If you're visiting Granada and only do ONE thing, make it this tapas crawl. From the very first stop, Juan Miguel made us feel like locals — not tourists. He brought us to spots that were completely off the beaten path, serving the most authentic Granada food I've ever tasted. Every bite told a story, and Juan Miguel was right there to tell it. What really sets this experience apart is Juan Miguel himself. His passion for Granada's culture and cuisine is infectious. He had us laughing, learning, and falling in love with the city all at once. His stories — about the history, the food, the people — were fascinating and made the whole evening feel like so much more than just a food tour. Personable, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely one of the best hosts I've ever had anywhere in the world. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that energy is contagious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highest possible recommendation. Don't walk — run to book this tour!
Amazing experience! Emma was a great and very knowledgeable guide. She was incredibly informed on the history and the places we ate and drank were delicious. We had an outstanding group and all chatted the night away. Made some knew friends and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more!
Well curated and lovely evening. Emma was extremely knowledgeable and is a wonderful guide
Great local spots you would not find on your own. Everything from homemade vermut to beef carpaccio!
Wonderful experience! Emma was perfect and so knowledgable with respect to food and the city itself! Recommend doing a tour early in your trip!
Exceptional and highly recommended. Emma was a wealth of knowledge and there was no comparison to immerse yourself in the culture.
Emma was an excellent host. Very refreshing and informative . She made the evening very enjoyable . We had 5 stops and a real variety of tapas to sample from unique venues. Over 3 hours duration which never felt rushed. Thoroughly recommended to sample Granada’s tapas culture.
emma was an AMAZING host. please give her a raise. she is personable, informative, and created a great atmosphere with our group. we will be back and hopefully be lucky enough to catch a tour with emma.
Thank you Juan Manuel for this geat evening, food and insights of Granada.
Fabulous evening with Juan Miguel and our antipodean and nederlands guests. Very informative and entertaining and great drink and food suggestions.
On my first day in Granada I've made the foodlover tour hosted by Juan Miguel. He's a good animating host and there where lovely people participating on this tour! It was a lovely and delicious tour with Senegal tapas and wine! Juan Miguel, muchos gracias!
Genuinely an excellent tour - our guide Juan-Miguel was great. lots of good food. Probably the greatest tour ever, you wouldn’t believe it. Wow what a great tour, i walked away and i said wow what a great tour. And nobody knows more about food tours than me, believe me. And i’ve been on a lot of tours, probably the most tours you wouldn’t believe it. But this one was really great, really great the likes of which you wouldn’t believe. Tremendous.
Juan did an incredible job tonight. We had great fun.
We had a great time with Juan Miguel, such a nice guy. We loved all the places we went to and the food we had. We’re inspired to spend longer in Granada to explore the city. I highly recommend the tour.
This was a wonderful tour, I highly recommend a tour with Juan. He took us to some incredible places. I had already been in Granada for 10 days and I learned a ton of new things and tried new foods and I’m so glad I did the tour.
Excellent tour hosted by Hanibal who share many stories about the crossover of history and food culture in Spain. The tour was well paced, visiting four places and having a nice range of food and drinks. There were just 7 guests, a good group size. Nicely paced, not rushed, lots of time to chat and relax.
We spent the evening walking Granada with Emma on a fantastic food tour. We stopped at four different restaurants, all full of locals, and had 2 to 3 dishes at each restaurant and a corresponding drink. Emma is a Granada native, who has lived in Ireland, the Caribbean and East Africa. She js worldly, smart and had an informed perspective on food from southern Spain, as well as historical context. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful evening on the Food & Drink tour last night with Juan Miguel. He took us to 5 Tapas bars…a few we would never have found ourselves! An interesting array of Tapas to try and the drinks served during the evening were excellent. Met some really lovely and interesting people in the small group too. We frequently explore Food Tours on our travels but this was definitely one of the best we have been on. Thank you Juan for making our last night in Granada so memorable.
Great selection of food and drinks, good vibe, lots of stories. Totally recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great Granada tapas crawl with our lovely guide. Such a good insight into the Andalusian tapas culture. Highly recommended
We had an amazing tour with Emma. All of the food was delicious and she was full of interesting facts about the neighborhood. We went to four authentic local restaurants. I highly recommend this tour!
