Sunset At 2,500m In Sierra Nevada

The tour was absolutely magical. From the drive into the mountains to the sunset itself, it was a great experience. Our tour guide Julio was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Julio was an excellent guide, very informative and very kind. He also took a lot pictures for us! During the trip we make a few stops along the way to admire the mountain views and some goats. We had a short walk to reach the sunset viewpoint and than we admire the beauty of Nature. An amazing 4 hour tour.

We had a wonderful daytrip with Julio took us 3 different viewpts. Each unique on its own While weather was cloudy we still could see the wild and beautiful landscape including native wild animals like horses and mountain goats, thyme bushes etc. Best surprise waiting for us-light snowfall at 2500m and lots of photo memories.

Julio was an excellent tour guide! It didn't take long maybe 45 mins/ hours to get to the top. We stopped to see the reservoir and took more pictures and Julio explained how the rain rushes in winter/February/ March/ April to fill the reservoir. I think it would be very green and lush in May! We also saw many mountain goats and he explained that they would show off their agility in the rutting season. At the top there were again some more AMAZING pictures!! Thank you Julio for a lovely adventure!

A really amazing trip with Julio. Julio kept us updated before the trip (due to dodgy weather conditions), met us and gave us a great experience as advertised. Julio was a fantastic guide and allowed us plenty of time to take in the views and sunset. We managed to see some wild horses which truly one of the highlights. He kindly stopped on the way back to let us buy some fresh honey! The perfect way to spend our last evening in Granada.

Julio was so incredibly nice. He is a Brazilian living in Spain which makes for interesting conversation if you ask him about himself. I personally like to hike but this trip was perfect if you have limited time in Granada. It isn’t really a hike but the view is spectacular. Could not stop admiring the snowcapped mountains, the view of the city, and the beautiful sunset.

Excellent trip up into the mountains to get away from city life. Our guide, Julio, was very informative and always keeping his eye out for wildlife. We saw wild horses, mountain goats and a very curious fox. He stopped to let us take pictures and was always willing to take pictures of the group. The mountain top provides terrific views. A chance to see the sunset from 8350 feet. Simply gorgeous!

The views from the mountain were amazing! This tour was the very first thing we did on our trip to southern Spain, and it was wonderful! Our guide, Julio, was kind, charming, and knowledgeable about the area. This is a must see if you are traveling to Granada. We met Julio steps from our hotel, and he drove us to the mountain site to see the sunset. I was concerned about the walking, but it’s not a difficult hike at all! Definitely need to wear appropriate footwear, but well worth it for the gorgeous views. Even though it was somewhat cloudy on the evening we went, we still had a beautiful sunset. We saw mountain goats, sheep, cows, and even a little fox! This experience was a perfect start to our Spain vacation!

Julio and Marcel were great, they accommodated our needs as we were with two small children. They have a great time and so did we. The ride up was nice and the views were amazing. I would definitely recommend. Julio also took great photos.

Wow, what an incredible adventure!! We were so lucky to get this experience. Our guide was incredible and took us to a couple breathtaking locations. The sunset was unbelievable from so high. The hike was only about 10 minutes and easy to moderate. Check the weather before going, it got pretty chilly and windy at the top.

It was an absolutely amazing trip, definitely the highlight our time in Granada. Julio was just incredible and so knowledgeable and passionate about nature and the surroundings. The walk was very manageable to a beautiful and quiet spot to watch the sunset. The colours and views were the best. Would highly recommend!!!

Julio is a really nice person and a knowledgeable guide. He quickly spotted a group of Iberian Ibex and parked up.Allowing us to observe their behaviour and take photos.Incidentally Julio has a quality camera and also takes photos which he be sent to us. later. Standing at high observation point with the vast Sierras spread out before us, glowing pink as the sun set was memorable indeed. Julio tells you about all you can see before you and the name of the river which springs from the high Sierra and provides water for Granada, the Genile. This experience was the highlight of my Granada trip. Julio was very kind and helpful. We did hiking in the mountains while he explained about the landscape and share some insights about surrounding area. It was more like hanging out with a friend. Beside perfect experience for someone trying to find their solace and peace. It was just something about being on 2500 ft height and in those mountains. A highly recommended tour! It's a tríp that you can't miss if you visit Granada. I enjoyed every single second of it and it's for sure the highlight of this tríp. If you enjoy being too close to nature and it's beauty, this the tour for you!

Our experience with Julio was absolutely amazing! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience that we will always remember and would not have been able to do on our own. The Sierra Nevada is breathtaking. He took us to the most amazing viewpoints and had so much knowledge about the area. He even brought his own professional camera and took photos of which he sent to us the next day as a gift! Leaving the tour we saw the most adorable sheep herding dogs and he even had crackers ready in his backpack so we could feed and I teract with them! Julio was kind and had an amazing calm energy, super passionate about nature. I would most definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a unique and personal experience at the Sierra Nevada!

It allows you to see some incredible landscapes and, with a little luck, also animals like mountain goats. The sunset at 2500m was beautiful and Julio - our guide - was very pleasant and professional. He gave us information about the area and wildlife and didn't mind taking photos of us. Experiencing the sunset in the Sierra Nevada was a magical and unique experience. It had snowed a bit and that made the views even more wonderful for the contrasts of colors and the calming silence of the mountain. Sierra Nevada is located 40 minutes from the center of Granada and upon arrival we started with a simple hike over the mountain to see the snow and then we went to a viewpoint to see the sunset and take some photos. Júlio is a very attentive guide and passionate about the mountains and the history of Granada, which was very good because I was able to learn several curious details during the visit. It is certainly an experience I would repeat and recommend.
