This private tour is so far the best tour we had in Spain. The guide (his name is Eduardo, I hope I write it right) is very knowable about Alhambra’s heavy history, architectures and landscapes. He is very patient with us as we paused often to take picture. He also answer our questions patiently. In this tour we have enjoyed the beauty of this unique place and also learned a lot of the heavy histories. We do appreciate the benefits of being in a private tour group where we can have good interactive conversations with the guide. It is worth of the money.

Itinerary
This is a comprehensive visit to the Alhambra (tickets included): for approximately 2.5-3 hours, we will guide you through what many consider to be the most impressive monument in Spain. We will begin by visiting the Generalife, an area of stunning gardens and orchards where the Sultan once had a palace for personal enjoyment. Following the Generalife, we will explore the Palace of Charles V, a Christian palace located at the heart of the Alhambra that is sure to leave a lasting impression. In the Alcazaba, the defensive-military zone, we will be fortunate enough to enjoy what are arguably the most breathtaking views of the city. Finally, we will visit the Nasrid palaces, the center of the political and bureaucratic administration of the Kingdom of Granada.

The tour guide didn’t seem to know much about anything outside of the script she remembered. Her English was “okay” if one was to ask her directions to the Mosque/Cathedral in Cordoba but poor for a guide. She kept repeating the same ending to every story she told: “in the end, they had to go away.” Even though the tour guide was a licensed tour guide, it just demonstrates that there must be a low bar to get a license. If one is going to hire a private tour, be sure to detail to the agency what one’s expectations are, e.g., a tour guide that has a wide breadth of historical knowledge, or one with knowledge about the architecture, art, the language one speaks.
A private tour was perfect for us. It was very crowded but since we were only 3 with Virginia our guide, she was able to maneuver to the less crowded areas and was pleasant and knowledgeable. She is a gem.
Our guide Ruth was superb! She was warm, funny & extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Alhambra. The depth & details in her knowledge were impressive & kept us intrigued for the 3 hour tour.
Matías was an amazing tour guide for our visit to Alhambra. He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. My husband and I learned so much and the 3 hour tour flew by.
It was a great experience, Eduardo has kept a pace that is in line with our group’s energy… :-) We have learned a lot about the palace, gardens and the history of Alhambra. We have taken great pictures. He was fun and a great companion.
Great tour of the 3 sections of the Alhambra with Debora, very engaging and pleasant. Enjoyed the tour very much. Thank you!
Today was magical- we couldn’t have asked for a better day or guide to the Alhambra. Debra was waiting for us- in the cold- because she hates being late. She is so cultured, smart, charming, passionate- we just LOVE her!!!!
Epic morning at the Alhambra. We were a bit "scared" before doing this tour, as we arrived at the peak of a heat wave, but once we set foot in the Alhambra, everything was fine. Our guide was Matias, a fantastic host for this dream place. For almost 3 hours we toured the city of the Alhambra. Matias adapted very well to our rhythm, we never felt rushed. The treatment of the agency was fabulous. They gave us the indications to take advantage of this ticket, which not only includes the Alhambra, but also several monuments of the city.
Without a doubt, the Alhambra is one of those places that deserves to be visited with a guide, otherwise it is just a beautiful place. Thanks to Edu, our guide, the Alhambra came to life. For about 3 hours we walked leisurely through the most spectacular islamic architectural monument you have ever visited. Thank you very much.
By pure chance I found this tour, since the tickets were sold out to visit the Alhambra. This ticket, a bit more expensive than the normal one, is totally worth it, since during 2 days we had access to almost all the monuments of the city. The Alhambra tour deserves a separate paragraph. Our guide was Matias. We could feel the vibrations of this monument, travel to the past, to that time when Islam reigned in the Iberian Peninsula and enjoy a place that is worth taking a guide.
After many years of seeing it in photos, finally this summer I fulfilled my dream of visiting the Alhambra. The experience did not disappoint. Our guide was Matias, a true genius of the Alhambra. We couldn't have been happier.
I visited the Alhambra with my wife in June. The experience was unbeatable. The gardens of the Generalife (I love botany) were an explosion of colors, all enlivened by our guide, Matias, a true expert of the Alhambra. Almost 3 hours of tour that went really fast.
Expectations for visiting the Alhambra were high, and I can say that both the monument and our guide, Matias, delivered. Everything was great since we started the reservation, the attention of the agency, and the best, a monument that came to life thanks to Matias Jimenez, a native of Granada and in love with his city.
We had a memorable morning with Matias, a great guy who showed us his great love for this city. The Alhambra is a medieval islamic citadel that is worth to be visited by an expert. The attention from the agency was excellent from the first moment, and Matias gave us recommendations to visit the center of the city, since this tour, apart from the guided visit to the Alhambra, includes the entrance to almost all the monuments of the city.
I was in the Alhambra last July. In the heat wave, our guide, Edu, was wonderful and during the 3 hours of tour we understood that the Alhambra is much more than a monument to visit, it is a living city. I definitely recommend this tour, ask for Edu!
The Alhambra in Granada is an absolute must during your Spain journey. Despite not being as well-known as Madrid or Barcelona, Granada is a hidden gem. Our guide, Matias, led the tour with perfect pacing, showcasing his vibrant enthusiasm and deep connection to the region. Alongside the Alhambra, the other monuments covered by the ticket were equally impressive.
We did this tour as a recommendation from our friend, who did this tour with yannat last year. We had high expectations but the tour was levels above what we were expecting. Couldn’t recommend it more if you’re going to Granada!
Incredible experience in the Alhambra of Granada. Our guide, Matias, could not have been better. It was an unforgettable morning. Thanks to this ticket, not only we were able to visit the Alhambra, but all the monuments of the city, so it was worth paying a little more. Matias made us recommendations to visit the rest of the monuments, and the attention from the company was magnificent from the first moment.
Our dude Edu, he was seriously out of this world! If you ever get the chance, gotta hit up the tour with him. And this ticket? It didn't just let us roam around the Alhambra, it hooked us up with all the other epic sights in the city too. Seriously, don't sleep on this – it's a total must-do.
An incredible journey through the enchanting Alhambra of Granada. Our guide, Pedro, was beyond exceptional. The morning became an unforgettable memory etched in time. Thanks to this ticket, we not only had the privilege to explore the Alhambra but also gained access to all the city's other remarkable monuments, making the slightly higher cost completely justified. Pedro's guidance added immeasurable value to the experience, and the company's outstanding service was evident from the very beginning
Very good overall experience. We were out of tickets to visit the Alhambra and had to buy this special ticket. The guided tour was really excellent, our guide Jenny was fabulous. After the tour we went on our own to visit the Royal Chapel, Cathedral and Sacromonte Abbey. It is definitely worth paying a little more, as this ticket includes practically all the monuments of the city, as well as bus rides.
It was a 5 stars experience. Our tour guide was amazing, talented and funny!. The Alhambra It is a must, but also including other monuments is a great extra to get yo know the city better. I would like to highlights the close treatment of the agency, so helpful!
A wonderful visit, 100% recommended. The guide knows all the secrets of the palace and is the perfect mix of professionalism and fun
