Private Granada Tour To The Alhambra Vip Tickets Included

Alhambra would have been nice if we had of gotten to see it all. We booked extremely late notice and paid US$600, an adult and 4 year, for the privilege. We understand this means we would lack control over when we could access some parts, but what was not ok was the lack of communication from the provider around what times were booked for certain parts of the tour. We had an 8:30am booking and upon arriving were told by the way you can’t access the palace (a key part of the experience) until 5pm. Like this was supposed to just be ok, with a 4 year old, coming back was 7 hours later was not an option. Our issue is not that the service booked wasn’t delivered, technically it was, our expectation was that when you spend that much there should have been some initiative taken around suggesting we start the tour later so we can see everything. There were tonnes of guides around who were doing nothing so getting a new guide shouldn’t have presented an issue With a simple bit of communication, like a single message, we could of actually gotten a great experience I also personally don’t like it when a provider reaches out for feedback, doesn’t like it and then says don’t give a bad review because they are a small business. They have indicated they will do better in the future, but that means very little to me now

Our tickets for the Palaces were taken away at the last minute after paying for a super deluxe tour. Our guide was very kind and well informed but was unable to resolve this fiasco. I’ve asked for 75% of my purchase to be refunded. I was very angry but realized the guide was not responsible

Do not waste your money. I paid an exorbitant premium for a VIP tour specifically to secure access to the Nazaries Palaces within the advertised tour window. The operator completely misrepresented their inventory. They walked us through the basic grounds—which you can book cheaply elsewhere—only to reveal at the very end that our palace tickets were timed for late evening. This was hours after the tour concluded and conflicted with my return train, making it impossible to visit. They charge massive markups to lure last-minute buyers under false pretenses, only to hand over useless, delayed tickets. A total scam. Avoid this operator.

This was a total extortion. I paid £563 GBP for a VIP tour of the Alhambra for 2 people. The face value of the tickets was less than Euro 50, but, as you probably realise if you’re reading this, they can be hard to buy on the day you want as they can sell out quickly on the official site. Anyway, the tour time was advertised at 12.30, and listed as lasting 3 hours. We therefore arranged our schedule, including trains to and from Malaga, accordingly. The guide was on time and met us at the stated point at 12.30. We started the tour. At some point, I asked about the order of visiting the various parts that require ticketed access. I had to press the guide, who was very evasive, however it eventually emerged that one of our tickets for entry to the Nasrid palaces was for 6pm, and the other was for 7pm. We had planned approx 12.30- 3.30 for the trip plus 2 hours margin. We could not stay beyond 6pm without missing our train. We booked these tour tickets about 5 days in advance- therefore there was time for the agent/tour guide to advise us of the specifics of the timed entry to the Nasrid. But no one told us, not even until an hour into the tour! The Nasrid palaces is the jewel in the crown of the Alhambra and is absolutely the thing you have in your mind when you think of it, and is the thing we most wanted to see. I feel totally and utterly ripped off and massively disappointed and, even though the provider will say that they explain the possibility of such an event in their small print, I think it is total, misleading, immoral, and exploitative charging what they did and then not delivering, or even communicating the issue.

Maria was a great guide. She had in-depth knowledge about the Alhambra and its history. She was able to tailor the tour to my interests and adapt to my questions on the fly. I would thoroughly recommend her and this tour to others.

Our tour guide, Rosa, was simple fantastic. She was communicative - pre meeting us for the tour, about meeting spot and timeliness. She followed up. We felt taken care of. During the tour of the Alhambra, she was knowledgeable, patient with our questions and super informative. Took AMAZING pictures of us, was patient with my mother who walks slower due to mild mobility issues. She knew the best spots for pictures, gave us amazing tidbits of historical facts and was simply a kind and courteous tour guide. Recommend her 100%.

Our guide Mohamed was a very nice man and we had an interesting walk through Alhambra and Generalife Gardens. However, I paid an outlandishly high price (over £560) for this so-called VIP private tour because this was a last minute trip and I really wanted to see the Nasrid Palaces. I didn’t see that the experience is caveated as not guaranteeing access to the Nasrid Palaces (even though they are referred to in the title). I read other reviews of other operators where people expressed disappointment that they got a last minute text informing them that there is a time change or that they would receive a refund because the operator wasn’t able to get a ticket so I texted the night before and asked if everything is okay for the tour and I was assured that it was. During the tour I asked several times when we’re going to the Nasrid Palaces and initially the guide dodged my questions and then when I insisted he tell me, he called the operator and he told me that the operator told him that the palaces are closed for repairs, which is obviously complete rubbish. I insisted that they try and get me a ticket for the next day as that was the main reason I had booked this expensive tour and I didn’t hear back from them. I then contacted Viator for a refund and they agreed to a “goodwill” refund of £29, which is an insulting amount to refund when a significant part of the money experience is missing. I think whoever you book with for these last minute tickets, there is a risk of disappointment and cancellation because the reality is that official tickets sell out weeks before. But you would do well to avoid this company’s obvious lack of transparency and integrity.

This was a very thorough tour! We felt like we experienced everything about the Alhambra. We learned a lot of historical facts, took amazing photos, and had a lovely time. The pace was nicely spaced to give enough time to see everything without getting boring.

Amazing places. The guide (ربيع) knows all the information which he tells them as a story so you wont be board. It was worth it knowing all the short cuts. The cherry on the top was that he speaks 5 languages including Arabic which made it magical reading all those engravings on the walls. Definitely worth it.

Our private tour was an amazing experience, and that was in huge part due to our incredible guide! He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local history and brought the place to life with so many fascinating facts. If we had been on our own, we would have completely missed the interesting stories behind everything we saw. He truly elevated our entire trip, and without him, the experience wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable. This tour was worth every single penny!

Paid premium and got a “confirmed “ ticket . On the day, while I was on my way to Granada I got an email saying “sorry our inventory error, we don’t have a ticket for Alhambra for you”. Very disappointing , a huge hassle and a wasted day on a short vacation. Hopefully the refund will come at least.

We booked a private tour for a party of three. Eduardo was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Alhambra. I’m so glad that he was our guide as he made the experience all the more memorable.

Auxi was our guide and she was fabulous! She is very knowledgeable about everything we saw and took her time to make sure we understood everything we were seeing. She also gave us some terrific recommendations on tapas bars, a restaurant and a flamenco show. She even made reservations for us. A great tour and even a better guide. Highly recommend!

The booking process was great. We booked only 9 days in advance where ticket to Nasrid palace was not available on the official site, but this tour got us into both AlHambra and Nasrid palaces with our family of 5. Our tour guide was Mr. Eduardo, who was really kind, friendly and fun to have the tour with our small children. He was very knowledgeable about Islamic history of the palaces, which we wanted to explore and learn about, so it was great to have this kind of knowledgeable guide.

This was a very expensive exercise for us but worth every cent! I am so glad my sister found the tickets. The gardens were breathtaking. Our guide, Esther, was super amazing….kind, knowledgeable and funny. The best guide ever. Made for any easy transition through the gates, etc. highly recommend Esther.

The provider is not reliable, I bought the tour clearly including the Nasrid palaces but the tickets didn’t have them. It was of course impossible to get tickets for the palaces on the same day and when I reached the provider they never responded.

Maria took good care of us and was attentive to my safety on some treacherous & steep stairs. She seemed knowledgeable about the history of Alhambra but her English was limited and I am not convinced she was able to communicate as much as she knew. All things considered though she was a good guide and had many suggestions about how we could spend our time after the tour. Would recommend this tour.

Alex provided a customized tour based on our interests and responded to our questions in a thoughtful way. He really made the experience educational and did not just take up to "Instagram -able" locations. It was well-worth the expense because Alex was so experienced.

Honestly, I am shocked to have even been given a feedback form since Viator did not manage to even honor our very expensive private tour of the Alhambra claiming just a few hours before, that no tickets were actually available. And now we receive a feedback form to tell them how satisfied we are with the tour (that never happened)?? This was particularly shocking given that Viator had already canceled on us the day before. Prior to traveling to Granada, we had originally booked Alhambra tickets online with Viator with a guide as part of a group visit and at 11pm the night before our 9:30 am tour, we received a phone call telling us that there were no tickets available at the booked time and that they would try to find us another slot. The next thing we knew is that they had canceled our booking completely. Since we were in Granada as a family with three children with the Alhambra being the main purpose of our visit, we scrambled to try and find an alternative tour. We found an expensive private tour that seemed to still be available according to Viator only to get canceled again. We therefore left Granada with no possibility of visiting the main site we were there to see. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing, and although we understand that the ticketing situation of the Alhambra is very complicated, companies such as Viator need to be more upfront in explaining the process instead of letting you pay and book something which is not actually guaranteed as they are ‘hoping’ they find tickets when you reserve through them. The only thing mentioned in the terms and conditions is that the time may be approximate. That was not our experience at all. They are supposedly at least refunding us in full. We will be closely checking this.

The time of our tour was changed from 2pm to 11am at the last minute. Fortunately we were able to change our plans as well but not a good look for the company. Our tour guide however was excellent and thorough and we enjoyed his expertise.

Perfectly well organized and our guide Auxi was extremely helpful and accommodating our interest and needs. Although crowded, we could enjoy wonderful privat moments that’s to Auxi who will navigate the around very skillfully.

Excellent tour guide (Auxi), very informative and interesting tour. Beautiful gardens and buildings. We are in our late 70s and early 80's and were quite tired by the end of our 3-hour tour. Bring water, wear a hat, don't forget your passport!

We had our tour today with Rabie, he was incredible and very knowledgable, really good sense of humor and in depth familiarity with all cultures involved! We really enjoyed our time with him.

I booked this private tour b/c I had forgotten to book tickets to Alhambra before we left New Zealand. BEST MISTAKE I COULD HAVE MADE. Our guide María was so knowledgeable that it was like having a personal (and friendlier) encyclopaedia walk us through all of the amazing buildings and gardens. I cannot sing her praises enough. She answered all our questions (and we had a lot). She quickly picked up on what we were interested in would elaborate at a level we could appreciate. I wish I could give her more than five starts. HIGHLY recommend María.

We had a great guide with a degree in art history. Initially, we only got the guide because we had failed to purchase tickets during the busy season but the guide was so fascinating, definitely worth it if you are interested in Moor history.

This was NOT a private tour. We kinda rushed through Alhambra and didn’t get the chance to enjoy it. Too expensive and we didn’t get a respectable refund back. Not advised. Save your money and book on the official side in advance so this doesn’t happen to you as well

We have paid 480 € for two tickets. They promised that we'll have also the entrance to Nasrid Palaces, but that was an obvious lie. Avoid at any cost.

This was a spectacular experience and one of the highlights of the trip to Spain. Absolutely make a pilgrimage to Granada and see Alhambra if you can. Our guide Carolina was so great! She had lots of knowledge and passion about the city and the history of the Alhambra. The tour was private, so it was just our group and the guide. Highly recommended tour and guide and if we hadn’t gotten the tour, we would not have been able to even get tickets. They found them for us the morning the of tour on short notice. Highly recommended!
