Granada: 3-hour Historical Tour By Segway

Fantastic tour! Turned into a private trip when the couple with us couldn't go. Because we've done Segway tours before, our guide adjusted and took us on some steep and fun hills! We learned a lot about Granada. Got to tour a cave house and saw gorgeous views. Definitely worth it. Tour operator prioritizes safety.

I can’t say enough. We had a private three hour tour. We asked to change the standard time to match our schedule and Victoria in the office was amazing. She went all out to make our wish come true. She was very receptive and coordinated everything for us. Then came the tour we had the best guide ever FARES was AMAAAAZZZING! He went out of his way to make us all safe, comfortable, entertained and educated (there was four of us 15-50y). He gave us a lot of history and insights into the city both old and new. I really can’t thank him or recommend them enough. Definitely one of my best Segway tours ever and we have done quite a few. Be sure to add this to your TDL IN Granada.

Excellent tour, great trip around the entire city including up the mountain for incredible views.

Best part of this trip hands down! We got to see so much more than we ever could have walking, taking a cab, or taking a tour bus. Our guide was fantastic!

Kaell was with us for the time we spent on the Segway He is an excellent guide, very friendly and personable where nothing was too much trouble. I can strongly recommend using Kaell and we will definitely go with him again when we’re next in Granada

Fares was an incredible guide for a fun and enjoyable ride through Granada. He did an amazing job of making it interesting and safe. We saw so much more of the city than we would have on foot. Highly recommended!

THE ONLY WAY TO SEE GRANADA….we were able to see and visit more than the typical visitor. Many people don’t realize how hilly Granada actually is and how physically demanding moving around all the neighborhoods can be. Nico was an amazing guide and teacher. We are both over 50 and Nico put us at ease with the Segway. At first it was intimidating but with a few minutes of teaching we were mastering the machine.

The 3 hour during Segway trip with Kaell was fantastic! Hé had a lot of knowledge and it was never boring due to his humour. Hé had good advise of where to go and where to eat. What to go seeing after the Segway Tour: For instance the besutifull gardens of the Alhambra. We had a great time and for sure are going to be back for another tour as soon as possible.

This was such a wonderful experience with our guide Adri. He took us around Sacromonte, the Albaicin, and the area around the Alhambra. We learned a lot about Granada’s history all while enjoying time on segways!

Not recommended. They take your money in advance, give you a start time and starting point. But no one was at the starting point when we arrived. Door and windows were locked. After 15 minutes past start time, we asked neighbors if a Segway company even exists. One kind person knew of their poor operations, walked us to the real location. A different nearby street. So we started about 30 minutes late after the guide arrived. To our surprise, the guide is not local or from Spain, he is a Covid-era migrant with superficial knowledge of the Moorish and Christian history of Granada, or the nearby regions. The tour ended on time. So you pay more, get frustrated and get much less than the promised 3 hour tour. Now the good: the guide knew how to ride the Segway. The few spots we stopped had good views. Granada is a beautiful city with steep streets and a commanding views of snow covered Sierra Nevada.

No better way to see steep landscapes of Granada than Segway. Our guides Fares had amazing knowledge and experience about segway and Granada’s secrets. Highly recommend this tour.

Fares and Mehdi our tour guides were amazing. Segway on hills and cobblestones was my concern but their knowledge and confidence made all fear melt away and we had amazing time going around Granada’s wonderful areas. Fabulous tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun. We were a group of 4 and we travelled on electric bikes v segway( too scary for me on those hills) Loved every minute of this super educational 3 hour trip

My husband and I both lived the tour today with Diego. You will see wonderful sections of the city that you are highly unlikely to see if you don't go. You will also learn about the history and culture of the city. We are both over 65 and loved using the Segway.

We had a fab time on the segway tour in Granada. Kaell was an excellent tour guide and made us feel comfortable, relaxed and safe despite being our first time on segways and first day in Granada. What a fun way to see this beautiful city and really informative and interesting too. Lots of recommendations along the way. Highly recommend. A fab way to start our trip.

What a blast! Fares was an amazing guide and did a fabulous job showing us around Sacromonte. He was very safe and attentive and the Segways were in good repair. The Segways were a lot of fun and Fares told us quite a lot of the history of Granada as we went. The views were beautiful and I’d definitely recommend this tour!

What a wonderful way to quickly tour the various areas of this amazing city. Our guide Fares was extremely helpful & knowledgeable giving us a great overview of the history of Granada whilst ensuring we were safe etc. Would highly recommend this to be done as early into your visit as possible so that you can then re-visit the areas of most interest to you.

Lorena lead us through the streets of Albaicín relating the history as only a local could. She was fabulous! We learned about the Muslims and many things of their culture in this area up until the Christian conquest in 1492 by Ferdinand and Isabella. The Albaicín community is a wonderful example of the advanced technology brought to Spain by the Muslims. Definitely a tour you don’t want to miss if you enjoy learning more about the local history and culture when visiting a new area! I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was incredibly fun, and Kaell’s deep knowledge and passion for the history of Granada really stood out. He shared fascinating stories and insights, making the ride not only enjoyable but also educational. Absolutely wonderful! There is no other way to see as many wonderful views and learn so much from the town and culture. We loved our guide Leon, he gave us a ton of history and stopped multiple times for us to take pictures and have water breaks. They also have bikes and even helped us reschedule our tour when we couldn't make it on time. Top class!

What an amazing experience! We had a private tour so just me my partner and Pedro. Pedro was very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited, such a lovely guy. This is well worth it, a little bit different from the average tour. The segways literally took 5 mins to get used to and are much easier to ride than you think. Once you have tried it you’ll love it! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming 😊

Fatima our guide was great. Gave us good explanations of areas. Recommended a restaurant that we ate lunch at later. Violeta was great with schedule changes the night before and made it work.

My husband and I did a Segway Tour with Simon and it definitely rates as one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. Simon is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, making sure that you’re safe Segway. Definitely recommend.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Granada for my pre-teen/teen boys. After days of touring historical sites, museums and cathedrals, they had a blast seeing the town while riding on segways. Karen was a fantastic guide - very patient and we all had a great time with her!

We had a fabulous time eith Victor on our tour. We were anxious about learning to ride the segway as it was our first time (70 and 60) But he was very patient with us and built our confidence before we started. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area It was one of the highlights of our trip to Granada!

A must if you're in Granada. As a family of two teenage boys, it was all the highlight of our visit. Simon was a friendly, professional guide and we felt he went out of his way to make sure our tour was safe and really enjoyable. We had a private tour which was great fun and also very informative.

Riding a Segway is an exhilarating experience, and it was my first time trying it. It offers a fantastic way to explore all the European attractions, especially since many places in Europe involve navigating hilly terrain where cars or buses can't go. The Segway effortlessly conquers those inclines. The tour guide victor was a knowledgable, considerate and nice guy. We really had a fun with him.

Simon and Pedro were excellent guides. I learned the Segway dance in minutes. Simon is patient and attentive. Pedro is very knowledgeable about our points of interest. You can’t see what we saw by car. It was spectacular. They are both very friendly and kind. The Dream Team. Gracias

We chose this tour because of the previous great reviews, and in particular a guide called Victor. We were very lucky and we had Victor as a guide too! We saw parts of Granada we would have missed, and the historical information and recommendations from a local perspective was priceless. The Segway tour made getting around the hills of the historical areas much easier and covered a lot of ground. The views were spectacular and it was a great experience at the start of our stay in Granada.

Great fun experience driving a Segway. A brilliant way to visit narrow roads and lanes of the city. Climbed to view from Sacriminto, Then up to General Life Palace. Our guide, Daniel, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this adventure.

Touring Granada and the countryside around it has been the best decision we made. After a few minutes of instructions about how to ride the Segway, the clock started running and our group of 4 friends followed our guide, Adolfo, along the scenic and beautiful streets of Granada. It was a most pleasant ride, through Plaza Nueva, Carrera del Darro, Albaicín and Sacromonte. After several stops to take pictures from picturesque lookouts, our happy group headed toward the Alhambra and Generalife entrance and into the mountains past it. Very soon, we were alone, meandering among the trees in neverending forests, with the snow white Sierra Nevada range in front of us. As the sun was setting, we turned back and descended Cuesta Gomérez toward the office. Soon, my wife and will be back in Granada and we are already committed to an encore with this excellent Segway operator.

What a great time!!! TopSegway first rate all the way. George was super guide, friendly, flexible - knowledgeable and fun!! Great tour, fantastic views and historic, out of the way places. My wife, daughter and I had the best time. George can also offer tips on additional places to see (we enjoyed a beautiful, alternate drive home based upon his recommendation). If your thinking about a Segway ride in Grenada, George is King, comfortable quickly on machine as he is great coach as well!!

We had 1 day to see as much as we could of Granada. This was the perfect way. We covered what would have taken us 2 days in 3 hours. Totally recommend this company. We had an outstanding, fantastic experience with our guide Adolfo. What was also extremely important was his focus on safety. The segways were in perfect condition and he made our day unforgettable! Kudos to Adolfo, he absolutely made our day!!! We can’t wait to. One back to beautiful Granada .
