He was very informative and gave us great visuals on how it has changed with showing us pictures on his phone.
Nayra was a most wonderful guide! She extremely knowledgable on the history of Andalusia and Alhambra .. our tour was extremely relaxed and comprehensive .. Nayra answered questions and we had a most informative discussion on the history behind various parts of the Alhambra complex! The online booking was very easy and the admission fee was more than reasonable for the experience, as was the length of the tour! Thank you
Ana was an excellent guide. Very informative and definitely knew her stuff! Answered all questions easily and kept the group together and moving over the whole visit.
Our guide, Carlos was amazing. My wife and I have been on many tours and our tour guide, Carlos was the best we have had. He had amazing knowledge and insight. He made a most enjoyable tour.
The Alhambra tour was a wonderful experience and well organized. The tour was informative, engaging, and a great way to discover the history and beauty of the Alhambra. A special mention to our tour guide, Antonio, whose extensive knowledge and enthusiasm truly made the experience stand out. He shared fascinating details in a clear and engaging way and did a great job of keeping everyone involved and attentive throughout the tour. His passion for the subject was evident, and it made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
The tour was well organized, with an easy-to-find meeting point right in front of the entrance. Our tour guide, Antonio, welcomed us warmly and the tour started right on time. Antonio's knowledge of the Alhambra is impressive, and the fascinating details he shared, all clearly communicated to the group, made the experience truly special. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour took about 3 hours.
It’s a very beautiful place and really nice to do a tour and get a lot of information. Our tour guide was nice , full of energy. We had a tour at 17.00 and were there with the sunset, it was so beautiful.
This is a fantastic not be missed site. However when we went it was absolutely heaving with visitors . Also the operator contacted us prior to the tour to move the booking forward 2 hours earlier. So we had to cancel another tour in order to make it which wasn’t ideal but as tickets are in great demand there’s little choice!
The Alhambra and Nasrid palaces are absolutely worth a day trip to Granada! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It is a lot of walking and steps, so be prepared. Our tour guide, Carlos, who gave the English-speaking tour guide, was excellent!
Hello, I really hope my email finds you well! Since you keep asking me to rate & review for the trip I have experience for Alhambra, here you go. I have been traveling the world for over 40 years and experienced all kinds of group tours. Unfortunately, this trip to Alhambra was the worst, almost like it was scammed by TripAdvisor or Viator or NHUE. 1) As you can see in your record, on 9/5/2026, I booked and paid $164.55 for the ticket for Alhambra @9am on 10/12 . 2) You then have sent me a confirmation for the tour on 9/10/2026. 3) I received a message from NHUE Concierge on 10/3/2026. They said my tour time was changed from 9am to 12pm. 4) Since I was already in Spain with all set trip itineraries, I told them many times to reconsider keeping me in my original slot at 9am because it creates conflicts with my other trip schedules but they firmly said it can't be done. 5) They said that if I want to cancel the tour contact TripAdvisor for a refund process. 6) My main reason to visit Granada was to see Alhambra so I could not give up this only chance. Since I am over 70 years old, this might be the last chance to fulfil one of the bucket lists in my life. 7) So after going through so many amendments in my long trip itineraries I reluctantly accepted the spot for the 12pm tour. 8) What shocked me the most was that TripAdvisor was still selling 2 available spots for 9am until 10/11. Out of curiosity I checked the TripAdvisor site. Of course, the price then went up to around $199.00. If your tour still has 2 spots available for sale, what were your reasons for dropping me off and pushing to the afternoon hour? I am sure your afternoon tour price on 9/5 was cheaper than what I have paid for! When you confirmed a tour for an individual and collected an appropriate price from, isn't it your responsibility to honor that even legally? 8) As a consumer, I don't know anything about your contracts or affiliate terms with your tour provider. I just trusted the TripAdvisor name and purchased a ticket from you. 9) As I expected, the tour at 12pm was nothing good because there were too many people, hot, on the wrong side of Sunlight. 10) Tour was not prepared well. Their listening devices were not working well, even after switching a couple times and the meeting point was not exactly what they had instructed. I am not complaining about the guide who seemed to be doing her work hard. 11) My personal opinion about Alhambra, it was beautiful but seriously overvalued in reputation and over priced. Now I understand why many of my friends said that I will end up being really disappointed after traveling a long way... Thank you. Sarah Shim
Beautiful 3 hour tour through the Alhambra, palaces and gardens. Guide was a fabulous companion to our trip through the ages. The headsets worked really well too.
Guide was brilliant - friendly and caring as well as knowledgeable. It didn’t feel like three hours at all!
The tour of the Alhambra palace was 3 hours long but worth every step. Our tour guide Arnau was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining. We very much enjoyed the whole experience.
The Guide Carlos was excellent! Very competent and friendly. Told us a lot of interesting backgroundstories. Thank you very much!
Our guide Georgia was exceptional. Her knowledge of history and archeology obviously goes far beyond Alhambra. We came away with a broader understanding of how World events shaped and affected this place through the centuries. If at all possible, book Georgia!! Mark & Cheryl Canada
Very professional operator. They contact You several times in advance by mail and whatsapp giving clear explanations and details. The guide has been very kind and professional as well. Skilled and giving detailed descriptions and history.
Meeting was easy at the main entrance. Our guide spoke perfect English and was really knowledgeable. She made the whole experience interesting and fun. I would highly recommend it.
The tour was wonderful and our guide Antonio was great! He was so knowledgeable and a very nice personable person. He made the tour extremely interesting and pointed out all kinds of details and history. The Alhambra is gorgeous and not to be missed.
Amazing trip around the beautiful Alhambra! Juan was great in every way. Very informative and friendly. Great value for money. Managed to book the day before! So very lucky to get in as it’s booked up so quickly. Will use this company again for sure.
Alhambra amazing. The highlight of our Spain visit so far. Andrea was an excellent guide with a lot of enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for the history of the Alhambra. I highly recommend her and will certainly be back.
Absolutely excellent tour! Very good guide Antonio who knew his history and communicated it so well Three hours well spent and Antonio made sure us old ones were looked after. If we had gone on our own we would have missed so many insights that he shared with us Great value and memories that will last for years.
This place is a must see.Absolutely amazing and Antonio our tour guide was the best and he referred us to Casa Salavador best Tapas of Granada where our server Ali was amazing.
Artula as a guide was amazing I highly recommend you ask for him his knowledge and lovely way of speaking with the group was perfect
Great experience and guide Michael Arno ? For the Alahambra tour . Fantastic!
Spécial thanks to the French guide Cheikh Sow for his professionalism, positive vibes and deep knowledge regarding Alhambra and Andalus culture.
Great tour, highly recommended. Luis was our tour guide, friendly and knowledgeable.
The guide wasn’t as clear & engaged as I wanted to, I have done about 10 guides on my holidays in Spain. And have to say this was no only the most expensive but the least “into it” type of thing.. wasting time asking if we wanted photos, talking about his life, talking about none sense things, when all I wanted was more info about the Alhambra and the history. Was he tired? Was he weather too hot? Who knows.
Georgia was exceptional with an amazing knowledge of Alhambra and was captivating. Led us to perfect photo spots, was courteous to the other groups around. This was simply perfect.
Wonderful place, something special. Took some amazing photos. The guide Georgia was knowledgeable, considerate and helpful.
Strongly recommend, Georgia was a great guide! I feel if you do t have a guide, you may miss some of the important historic facts.
This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Celia, was knowledgeable, interesting and fun. It was a hot day, so she gave us a short break, but generally she kept things moving and the time passed quickly. The Alhambra is a special place and full of fascinating history. Not to be missed!
Friendly and informative tour of the Alhambra, thank you! Kept a group of 17 entertained last Thursday morning with temperatures touching 40 centigrade, nobody passed out and kept it enjoyable.
Absolutely awful. Map does not take you to the meeting point, they are ZERO HELP either getting caught up with the group or rebooking you. 300+ usd DOWN THE DRAIN because they post the wrong address!
We were so excited to return to the Alhambra after 59 years and this tour triggered many good memories. Our guide was informative throughout the tour; the gardens and the palace. She didn't miss any of the historical facts relating to the hundreds of years of occupancy and her commentaries were exceptional. Traveling during mid-June provided excellent weather and minimal crowds. If you are visiting Granada, schedule this tour early so as not to miss one of the best historical sights in Spain.
I loved the Alhambra tour. Our guide, Antonio, explained the history and beauty of the place with a sincere passion. He was also very patient with those who had disabilities as well as those who had ticket issues.
First time to visit. A bit chaotic at the meeting point, but fine when we got going. Antonio, our Guide was very good and entertaining. Could have done with a Coffee break after 2 Hour not two.
So you. Pay to visit several sites You go see Alhambra and Generallife But unable to see the the rest of the sites because someone used your tickets. So basically we were I. 2 different places at the same time. Fraud
We loved this tour. It is a lot of walking but it is like nowhere else in the world. Our guide (Antonio) was fantastic and helped a lot with my mom with limited mobility
Very interesting but it ran very long and we were very pressed for time. I had hoped to see the harems but we mainly saw the main rooms and gardens
Highly recommended. Our tour guide Itana was witty and informative. Really helpful to interpret and appreciate the Alhambra.
The visit was definitely more enjoyable having a great guide like Marco. He was knowledgeable, of course, but also very engaging and funny. He was friendly and no question was too insignificant. We came away with truly understanding the significance of the Alhambra in Spanish history and the people who built and lived in it. BRAVO Marco!
The gardens are beautiful and the views are stunning. I went with my elderly mom and my daughter. Our guide was very nice. She was walking so fast that my mom was having a hard time keeping up. There are a lot of hills, cobblestone, and stairs so it was a lot. We finally got a break, which wasn’t very long, and we decided to miss the second half of the tour. I know they need to move people through each area pretty quickly for other groups but it felt really rushed. The guide was so far ahead of some of us in the group all we heard was static in the ear pieces. We really wanted to see the inside of the palace but that was on the second half of the tour. My mom had already walked almost 2 miles for the first part of the tour. The tour is 3 hours.
Terrible experience. I selected the wrong date and as soon as I did, contacted the vendor to move back by one day. They flatly refused. Yes, I realize their website says no refunds; I wasn’t asking for that, simply to move our reservation by 24 hours. It would’ve been no skin off their nose to do this, no loss of money on their part. Instead , I had to pay another $200+ for tickets that should’ve cost me $27 each direct from the Alhambra (and why were those tickets sold out? Could it be that greedy third party operators scoop them Up, so they can then increase the price by 400%. And why in the world does the Alhambra allow this???). The third party operators scoop could’ve chosen to be kind, and helpful; instead they chose greed. Shame on them. There were no paper maps when we got there, no audio guides (other problems arose and we missed the walking tour time, so we had to just walk around on our own). The website maps didn’t work, and all the Alhambra staff did was shrug, say “it’s blocked,” and walk away. The palace is beautiful; the experience visiting there was not. Hugely disappointing.
We were not happy the the company changed the time of the trip, back by 30 minutes, which meant we had to break off from the tour halfway through, to allow us to see everything
We enjoyed the tour very much. We learned a lot.
Guide was good and open to questions. Alhambra is so big and has such history, it probably deserves a few days of exploring. I went in May. Great time to go - not too hot and roses are in bloom. A couple of negatives. Tour operator changed start time to half hour later a couple of days before. I had already booked and paid for train ticket based on original time, so had to learnt 25 minutes early. Tour operator made error on my ticket and guide and I had to go back outside and file an incident report and get special pass. Not a pleasant way to start
Great guided tour by Antonio who told us a lot about the history and other interesting facts with a touch of humour. There were about 30 in the group and always a few stragglers. The Palace was not too crowded as daily ticket entries are limited.
We took the 3 hour group tour. It was a perfect amount of time. Nice pace with a rest stop half way at a nice coffee spot with restrooms and shade. Nerea, our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and kept a nice pace and took good care of our group of 8. Post tour we stayed for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the setting
Antonio Vega was excellent!! I highly recommend him!
