Granada Alhambra Private Tour From Motril Puerto

This excursion satisfied our plan to see Alhambra from the port of Motril. Our guide (Carlos) in Alhambra was excellent; he had extensive knowledge, was friendly and spoke English well. For the price I was expecting a nicer/more comfortable ride to Granada, but the taxi that was provided was sufficient.

Amazing experience touring Alhambra with a professional guide named Amin. The driver picked us up from the port of Motril and we met our guide at the entrance of Alhambra. Guide was very knowledgeable and he gave us enough information without overwhelming us. A bucket list wish ticked off!

Worth every penny! Excellent private tour. Highly recommend. Highly knowledgeable and professional guide, great taxi driver, and great overview of the Alhambra complex.

We did a private tour with Richard. He was very knowledgeable and made our experience wonderful and informative. The Alhambra is vast and so beautiful.

It was great! The vehicles were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The drivers both brought drinks and treats for us as well. The tour guide was awesome, so knowledgeable about everything!

We were picked up at the Motril port by Jesus right where we walked off the ship. His car was immaculate and he brought us each a bottle of water. He's an excellent driver. He took us to Alhambra to meet up with our tour guide Alba. She really knows her history and she knotted the best picture spots. My husband just had knee surgery a few months back and she made sure that we did the least amount of steps and kept checking if we needed a break. They both made this excursion a wonderful day for us.

There was a disconnect on the pickup. The message we received showed a pickup point about a mile from where the ship docked. I had to make some calls and send my location for the driver to find us. Once we connected the experience was different. Our driver Jesus was awesome. Not only did he explained things along the way from Motril to Granada, but he also was very funny. At Alhambra we met with our tour guide Pablo. He was also well mannered and since we had children with us he made an effort to keep them entertained as well. Overall the tour was excellent. I don’t know their English language skills but if you speak Spanish I highly recommend Jesus and Pablo for your tour of Alhambra.

This was a wonderful experience. The tour was well organized and the driver was waiting promptly at the dock when our cruise ship arrived. He took us to our destination where we met our tour guide. The guide was patient and knowledgable. After the tour, the driver took us to town and dropped us for lunch. The only complaint we had was the driver kept the car very hot and it was 41 degrees Celsius that day. He would not roll down windows or turn up the AC. We asked, but there may have been a language barrier. I’m not completely sure. Overall, I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone.

This was a highpoint of our 8 day trip around Portugal and Spain. Great pace, very comprehensive, and our guide was able to answer any question we had. Some great views and photo opps, too!

Booked from a cruise arriving in Motril. Pickup was early. About an hour up to Granada. Maria took us on a tour of the sites. Left an hour in town, which was enough for a quick walk about and coffee. Highly recommended.

The driver, Maria del Carmen and tour guide Sow was exceptional. Their attention, service and knowledge was great.

Excellent driver, Pedro, was there right on time to greet us. Handed us over to Natalia our guide through the Alhambra. Natalia was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. She gave us extra tips on some other highlights to visit in Granada. Pedro went out of his way to make us see all the special places of his hometown. One caveat: the driver spoke no English. Thankfully my Spanish is excellent so, it did not cause a problem. If you need to have annEnglish speaking driver, you may have to point this out at booking.,

Very very happy with this tour. Beginning with timely pick up from the debarkation point from the ship (with coffee, water and pastry)to the pacing of the tour through the Alhambra complex. Unexpected tour as well back through the town below the Alhambra with specialty sandwiches and beverages of choice (for my husband -beer).

Susana was a wonderful tour guide. She was very informative and had a wonderful personality. We highly recommend her as a guide to Alhambra.

Carlos was the most wonderful guide! We had two of our 5 people in wheelchairs. He make sure that they had easy access to as much as possible while still ensuring that the rest of us could see everything. He was incredibly knowledgable about not only what he showed us but also could answer all of our many questions about the time period. We HIGHLY recommend him for an amazing tour of La Alhambra!

Soon after I signed up I received a phone call from the company asking for details and answering questions. When we arrived at the seaport a driver was at the dock with a card bearing my name. We were a party of four and were immediately seated in a clean and roomy SUV. Though she spoke little English she was friendly and got us to our destination. She waited with us until after only a few minutes our guide came for us. He spoke excellent English and obtained our tickets, whisking us past the line of other visitors. Jean Claud was friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out architectural details and the history of the Alhambra. After about two hours he returned us to our driver who took us to town and waited for us while we had lunch. She drove us back to the ship stopping at the gang plank. We felt like celebrities. It was a great experience and well worth the cost which was little more than the cost of a group tour offered by the ship.

We were extremely happy with our Guide Pablo. he speaks excellent English and was extremely helpful in pushing my wife’s wheelchair. He got us to the various locations within the Alhambra and the best way possible. he made sure that we were picked up for our ride back to the ship. I strongly recommend him as a tour guide for the Alhambra

Our tour guide was fabulous and the company was great about working with us when our pick up location changed. This was much better than having a large group tour or being left to wander alone

Everything from the tour guides, to the Alhambra, Nasrid Palace, Generalife was amazing. I especially appreciated the Mr. Fatmi’s prompt responses to all my questions. We were coming in on a cruise and had a tight schedule but Mr. Fatmi was able to customize our private tour so that we made it back to Malaga with time to spare. Mr. Fatmi was very knowledgeable about history of Alhambra and shared so many interesting facts. The ride with Mr. Armando was super comfortable and he was very knowledgeable about Malaga and Granada. Overall this was a great fully customizable tour and I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Alhambra.

Very nice activity! We were picked up at the cruise ship pier and then we were met by our guide at the tour location. Our driver Mario and our guide Amine were super nice and very professional. We recommend this activity!

Experience with a. Fatimi was breathtaking, the information I gave during the flight was very abundant and the simple information that we found and learned in books and added to it was impressive that he had the answer to every question we had. Beautiful experience I highly recommend
