Our visit to the Alhambra was one of the highlights of our trip to Granada, and that's largely because of our guide, Eduardo. His knowledge is remarkable. He brought the history of this extraordinary place to life, from the Nasrid palaces to the stories behind the intricate tilework and carvings, and made centuries of history feel vivid and personal. What really set Eduardo apart was the time he took in the Generalife gardens. Beyond the history, he explained the plants and flowers around us, why they were chosen, and how they fit the garden's design. It added a whole new layer to the experience, and we saw the gardens with completely different eyes. Eduardo was patient, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. He answered every question we had and never made us feel rushed. We highly recommend this tour company, and if you can, ask for Eduardo. You won't regret it!

We forgot to buy in time ticket and this was a life saver. Excellent guide as well showing everything we wanted to see, the fortress and the gardens. Highly recommend!

The Alhambra is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a trip to Granada. Our tour guide took us to the palace and she toured with us. Then at Generalife gardens, she gave us information for a few minutes and then she said we should go around on our own and take pictures and she left from there. Since she framed it as just the gardens, we left to go see it, but upon getting there we saw not only gardens, but an entire additional building to explore as well. All of the other groups and families we saw there all had tour guides with them, so it was clear that the tour should have included that last portion, as well, and our guide had left early. Also, our tour time was for 12:30, and she told us to be there by 11, as she wanted us to see other things apart from the palace. We told her that we were driving from Sevilla and that would not be possible. At the end, she met us at 11:45, but didn’t seem to show us anything extra, like she had mentioned earlier. Also, while taking pictures, she wanted to rush through the tour. We paid around 200 dollars per person for this entire tour for a family of four, and I definitely don’t think that it was worth it. I am going to definitely think twice before making such an expensive reservation through Viator again.

This site is fraud. Booked a guided tour for 9.30am. Guide brought tickets for 5pm and said she can tell us about it now and we can go on our own at 5pm to the palace. I asked them to cancel my tour because I had to leave town at 3.30. No one ever replied

Keep your mobile phone on. Ours was off which made it more difficult for the guide to confirm the meeting point. Yosin was excellent. He was polite, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable and made our tour the highlight of our holiday. He showed us the best parts of the Alhambra and tailored our tour to the time available.

Wonderful Unesco Heritage site. Must be preserved for future generations as well. Should be well maintained

We were there at the set time, but the guide was not and then the tour company refused to give her money back and continues to refuse to do so I would not recommend anyone take a tour with these people. It is absolutely horrible. I would give it zero stars if I could they just did not show up then 45 minutes later they called me but we had already left. We waited 20 minutes for the guy at the meeting point. They did not approve the refund so via did not get my money back hopefully we do it.These are thieves.

My family arrived at the meeting place to start the tour and got a message that the tour was cancelled and no reason given. We were gutted! Travelled from Australia to Granada for this and it did not happen : (

We booked last minute, the day prior and got incredibly lucky. Cannot say enough good things about our afternoon with Abubakr. He has several post grad degrees in history and had so much detailed information about Granada, the grounds as well as the Moorish culture and religion. Was very patient with my nearly 80 year old mother who walks slowly with her can. Lots of rest breaks built in for her.

To Viator Disrespectful treatment of guests at the Alhambra A fantastic trip is promised. But the evening/night before, we will be informed by Viator staff and the ticket and guide unit that they unfortunately have to cancel because the tickets for our group of four for kr 4500 cannot be confirmed. Viator's booking service has not received this message either, and greets us in the morning welcome to a wonderful tour that they themselves have cancelled. Impressive experience with the Moorish high culture in Andalusia. Our Moroccan/Spanish guide was able to explain the subtleties and background of the architecture and history well.

Alex, our guide, who speaks perfect English illustrated many events and historical details and answered many questions from one family of curious people aged 10 to 80, always keeping everyone s attention alive! 💯 made the visit unforgettable! ... despite the rain!

Well what happens is that I received a message from the tour operator that you hire that the visit was cancelled, this was 13 hours before what is out, you can imagine the anger that this has caused me, it is very unprofessional, the way they have done it. For me it’s a scam, the one that promises you something is going to happen and you get canceled so few hours in advance and you get angry with yourself for claiming.

Very interesting tour with an experienced guide. However, the visit had to be in French and finally it was in two languages (French/English). For a 90-minute tour we paid Fr. 345.00 for two people, this is unacceptable.
