The whole experience was amazing from the beginning of the drive from Granada to Cordoba! Jose (driver) made us comfortable that we didn’t feel like meeting him for the first time or like a stranger. He was flexible and super knowledgeable about the whole tour, history of Granada, Cordoba, and anything in between. He provided great insights into Cordoba by touring inside the city. The guide in the mosque was very knowledgeable and provided great insights into the history, architecture, & construction! Definitely recommend the tour to anyone. The whole tour comfortable, flexible, and superb!

Gonzalo was an excellent guide for our trip to Córdoba and the Mezquita-Cathedral. He shared fascinating stories and explained the history in a very engaging way. He answered all our questions and made the visit truly special. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and great company throughout the day. Visiting the Mezquita-Cathedral was an amazing experience, and Gonzalo made it even more memorable. We highly recommend this trip and Gonzalo as your guide! :)
The day visit to the Mezquita was outstanding. Jose, our driver and guide, was so knowledgeable about the countryside and Cordoba. The visit to the area, mosque and cathedral is worth every cent.
We had a pleasant drive from Grenada to Cordoba. Our driver/guide then showed us some of the neighborhoods (patio streets, Jewish quarter). We were then brought to the mosque to join a tour group of the mosque. The mosque guide was great! She was pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a good 75 minute tour. We then had 2 hours to wander or have lunch on our own before the driver took us back to Grenada. As long as you are ok with much of the tour on your own, this was a good way to see the Mosque in a day from Grenada.
We wish we had left Granada earlier in the morning so that we could have attended more patios during the patio festival before the siesta. The Mosque tour was wonderful too. We just wish we had more time in this charming town.
The day was beautiful from start to finish. Our driver, Jose, was very friendly, helpful, informative and accommodating. We were a group of four and everyone was extremely pleased with the trip. The guide at the Mezquita was also outstanding.
The Mezquita is a must see if you are in the area. Gonzalo was an informative and friendly driver - we enjoyed seeing several of the famous, award winning patios in town prior to meeting up with Isabel who gave the Mesquita tour. Long but very enjoyable day. Highly recommend this tour.
Cordoba mosque is a must, it’s beautiful. Local guide was knowledgeable and driver/guide Gonzalo took care of us very well.
The mosque is stunning - a must do if you are in the area. Knowledgeable local guide. Gonzalo was a careful, considerate driver who looked after us well.
Great tour. We had an experienced and friendly driver, clean and comfortable car, knowledgeable guide and reasonable timing. The
The tour from Granada to Cordoba was an amazing experience from start to end. The ride in the mini van was comfortable and easy, and the whole trip was very well organized. Visiting the Mezquita Cathedral was absolutely spectacular - truly one of the most beautiful and unique places I’ve ever seen. Our driver-guide Gonzalo, was the best - friendly, fun and so passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Spain, he made the trip just as memorable as the destination. If you’re in Granada, I highly recommend this tour - it’s the perfect mix of comfort, culture, and unforgettable sights!
Our Driver and Guide Gonzalo was very nice and well informed. He showed us around beautiful spots and his Restaurant recommendation was spot on. The tour inside the mosque also was good, just the reception of the Audioguides made it hard to understand Maria, our guide. But the Mosque/ Cathedral made it a once in a lifetime experience!
I took a day trip from Granada to Córdoba to visit the Mezquita, and it was a wonderful experience. The travel was super smooth and comfortable, and our driver Carlos was extremely helpful and dedicated to showing us around. He went out of his way to help us plan our time in Córdoba so we could make the most of it, even with a tight schedule. This trip is ideal for anyone visiting Spain who doesn’t have much time to spend a night in Córdoba and appreciate Andalusian culture, especially if you're coming from faraway places. The Mezquita is an absolute must-see, truly stunning, and worth it.
I really liked it. A very comfortable journey and wonderful guides. I really recommend this tour. There is enough time for a quick sightseeing.
We really enjoyed our day in Cordoba. We were a small group, just 2 couples. The journey there was very smooth, a fast road, and comfortable transport. Gonzalo is an excellent guide, with good English, and is very knowledgeable and makes the tours fun. He showed us round some beautiful parts of the old centre, including private “patios” (courtyards in people’s homes) and the Jewish quarter, before taking us to the Mezquita where we were met by an official guide for a tour. Afterwards, we had a bit of free time for lunch and a wander, including the stunning Roman bridge and river area. Nothing is too much trouble for Gonzalo. He showed us a few restaurants for the best tapas etc. And he kindly dropped us off at the station for our fast train to Malaga , at the end of the tour. Thoroughly recommend this tour, as well as the Alpujarras day tour.
Cordoba and the Mosque were just breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Carlos, our driver from Granada to Cordoba was friendly and kind. I thought that we would be having a tour of the mosque with Carlos in our small group, but we were instead joined up with another, much larger, tour group at the mosque. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I do, however, think the price of this visit was too high, as it was only the transport that was catered for us. The actual mosque tour was with another guide and we only had 1.5 hours of free time to explore Cordoba after the mosque tour, which we did on our own, rather than as a tour with Carlos.
The guide was very informative and explained a summary of 2000 years worth of history in an hour. She was professional and did not seem rushed.
We visited the Mosque in Cordoba, what a beautiful place. Our trip was made more beautiful and exciting because of our tour guide “Gonzalo” he is knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic.
The trip was memorable. Our driver Gonzalo was excellent and made our day. The Mosque complex was breathtaking in its grandeur. The tour guide at the mosque was average. He knew his facts but kept repeating himself and this made his talk boring and uninteresting. However we were happy with overall experience
Jose was a great guide. He made the whole day informative, easy, and entertaining. Truly a magnificent mosque/cathedral with fascinating architecture and history. We recommend El Caballo Rojo for those looking for good food in Cordoba.
So glad that we included this in our trip to Andalusia. Cordoba is absolutely not to be missed - such an important part of the history Spain's Muslim heritage and the reconquest. Our guide Gonzalo was wonderful - knowledgeable, helpful, and good hearted. The trip to the Mosque/church was absolutely the highlight! And the walk through the patios, the Jewish Quarter, and other sites was also lovely!
Gonzalo..our guide and driver...was excellent. Ask for him. He took us to all the key places and his recommendations for restuarant was excellent. La Pepe food was superb. Gonzalo made a big positive difference.
This tour exceeded our expectations! The transportation was efficient and José shared great info along the way. The Mezquita tour by Ana included a lot of information, but was presented in a way that made it easy to digest and keep up. We have already recommended this experience to friends traveling later this year. Enjoy!
Let me start by saying that there is much more to do in Cordoba than can possibly be done in a day trip from Granada. If your time in Spain permits, then staying in Cordoba for a few days would be a better way to see the city. That said, our itinerary didn't permit, so a day trip was the next best thing. We were a small group leaving from Granada in the morning. The meeting place was easy to find, staff were on hand and led us on a short walk to the waiting transport. Our driver Gonzalo was excellent. He pointed out lots of interesting towns and geographic points of interest on the drive. Gonzalo also gave us a brief walking tour before handing us off to a larger group for our Mosque tour. That is a site that will leave an impression. Our guide Susanna was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. When we finished the tour we had a lovely rooftop lunch in the Jewish Quarter, and then had an hour or so to tour on our own. We happened to meet up with Gonzalo ago, so the self tour became guided once again. If you can see Cordoba during your stay in Spain, I would recommend it.
Great tour! Our driver Carlos was very kind and accommodating! Abs the tour guide was very knowledgeable and I really appreciated her dry sense of humor! Highly recommend!
Very good, highly recommend. My journey was from Granada to Cordoba. We went with a taxi driver who actually give us more information about the place
The tour guide, Susanna, at the Cathedral was excellent. The cathedral/mosque was one of the most incredible things we have ever seen. The city of Cordoba was also worth seeing, wandering around the streets was exciting. City was very alive.
I took a day trip from Granada to see the Mosque/church in Cordoba. The driver was on time and it was clear where we would meet. The driver was very nice and punctual. It was just myself and one other young man. We had a lovely day and really enjoyed the guided tour of the mosque with our local guide Ana, who was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. There was a short concert on the church organ which was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour if you are not going to spend the night in Cordoba as I have been here traveling around for 3 months and I would not have wanted to miss this Mosque/church. This is especially great for a single traveler.
We had a great time on this tour. The driver was extremely helpful and even found a place for us to store our luggage in Cordoba.
Manuel, our tour guide, was outstanding!!!!! He was very professional and knowledgeable: he enthusiastically shared the history of Córdoba and skillfully answered our questions. We highly recommend this tour!!!
Absolutely horrible experience with this company. I booked a City Locker in Granada via their website, but due to the website's error the confirmation email said Malaga instead of Granada. I tried to replicate this again to make sure it wasn't my error, and sure enough the next booking for Granada also tried to set at Malaga. I reached out via email immediately to alert them of this error on their website, and to fix and/or cancel my erroneous reservation. The company completely ignored my requests - which I made several times as my reservation date came closer. Of course they took my money despite the reservation not being used, and they sent me a 'How did we do?' follow up email despite me not using their service. At this point nobody from the company has reached out yet to fix this error, and I will have to pursue a chargeback with my credit card company. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN PROCEED TO IGNORE YOU ENTIRELY.
The organization is very good in general - we were picked up at the designated meeting place and was driven to Cordoba. It almost seems like a private tour being that we are the only ones in the car. Our driver, Danny, can converse well in English and he assisted us very well. Upon arriving in Cordoba, we were given ample time to walk around the city before we meet the official guide to the Mosque at 12:30pm. This suits well for us since we were able to eat brunch first. Our guide to the Mosque is Anna and she is very very good and full of information. We wouldn't have known such information about the Mosque if it weren't for Anna. The Mosque tour took almost 1.5 hours and we were given ample time to take pictures around. We need to leave Cordoba at 3pm to drive back to Malaga. Some may say it is a bit tight because of the travel time but nevertheless, it was quite a nice day trip over all.
There are some amazing views and interesting history to the walk. However, Due to the large volume of people, there are multiple stops being made which feel unnecessary. Also, waiting to enter was tedious. However, our guide was knowledge and entertaining and she was very engaged, so the stops were at least interesting.
Our guide Paula was excellent; she was knowledgeable, helpful and communicative through a three hour tour. The Alhambra is extremely busy and the meeting place for tours is chaotic with poor signage and multiple agents . There are numerous queues for new tickets, redemption of vouchers and information. A passport is necessary for admission to parts of the tour. Many people are unaware of this requirement but, fear not, if you have a photographic identity or a screenshot of the original passport then you can join one of the longest queues for a special ticket, There is a great deal to see and much information to absorb : if possible aim to spend the day on site after the three hour tour! Be prepared for enormous crowds and the progress of your tour may be paused as the group in front make their way through each section of the tour.
May sound strange, but what we really enjoyed was having a great variety of tapas and wine at lunch with Manuel. Cordoba and the Mosque were fantastic, but talking to and sharing tapas with Manuel made the day even more special.
I had a good experience and learned a lot on this tour. Paola was very knowledgeable and made it a special experience. We were not able to visit the Nasrid Palaces, but it was still a good tour. Thanks.
We took a tour to Cordoba from Granada. The driver, Ignacio, was very nice but he spoke to two travelers from Peru in Spanish and not to us. We didn't know that he was only the driver and that we would be meeting another tour guide. We arrived and were given some free time to get something to eat but it really wasn't enough time. We met the group for the tour itself and waited. We began the tour and the tour guide was ok, not outstanding because he lacked enthusiasm and his English was a bit hard to understand. However, the Cathedral/Mosque was very impressive and worth seeing. We then had about 1/2 hour of free time and left for Granada. There were two things in the description that we did not see. One was something about Spanish Bulls and the second was that we would be going to the Jewish Quarter, which we didn't do. This was a pricey tour and I am not sure I would recommend it without some changes.
I had an amazing experience booking my Córdoba trip with Anera travel. We had a fun conversation with our tour guide Rafa and were also given enough free time to shop and explore the city. The car that we took on the trip was comfortable and a better option than trying to figure out the logistics on my own. I would highly recommend scheduling this trip for a fun and informative experience.
Was driven to Cordoba with another couple and the guide in a 5 seater car. Drive was pleasant, but the driver's English wasn't great. The actual Mosque tour was done by a different company.
To say the least, I am extremely disappointed with this excursion as what I experienced differed from what was promised. Here’s why: 1. The day started out with a three hour drive to Córdoba from Seville. Instead of getting a ride in a clean and comfortable vehicle, my son and I sat in a small minivan without functioning air conditioning and without adequate legroom. My son and one of the other passengers were extremely uncomfortable being stuffed in the back of a passenger minivan. 2. The tour guide brought her daughter on the expedition and then spent much of the drive talking with her daughter and taking personal phone calls. Given the nature of this tour being a professional and guided tour as promised, I felt this was very inappropriate as somebody paying for this excursion. 3. The website promised that we would be given a map and free time to explore the town of Córdoba. Nobody was given a map and instead of having free time to explore and have lunch, we were supposed to walk through the town with her tour guide and daughter. We were given no map and had only 30 minutes to explore on our own and have lunch. 4. The website promised the actual tour at the Mosque would have no more than twenty participants. On my tour, there were a total of thirty two participants. It was hard to feel a part of the excursion given the very large group size. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and advise you look elsewhere for a tour if you want to see Córdoba. I am disappointed at many levels with how this excursion to Córdoba is run.
Excellent Service and attention from Gonzalo guide, who gave us suggestions to eat and visit within the free time of the tour. The tour to Cordoba was most enjoyable and very enriching, a great experience that was worth it. Fully recommended.
Overwhelmingly beautiful. The bridge, the mosque, the cathedral, the story. The Jewish quarter next door. A good driver, who also told a lot along the way. In short, highly recommended.
Cordoba is a must. The Mosque Cathedral a marvel of architecture. The tour is unfortunately only one hour(applies to all visitors in high season), but it is still worth it. Our driver, Jose, not only drove us well and reliably, but also showed us the city, gave valuable tips for restaurants in Cordoba and Granada and even made a detour on the return trip at our request to drive us to an olive oil mill in the mountains - now we are supplied with the best olive oil. It's a nice day.
Too few participants, we then cancelled ourselves one day before the planned implementation, after we received several messages that there were too few participants. But it was at least pointed out prematurely.
I loved Córdoba. And the Mosque. I recommend it if you have already been in Granada for a few days. They are small groups, with a driver. Very kind and attentive (Carlos). Once in Córdoba, they show you some places of interest and you also have free time to wander around. I recommend seeing Plaza Correderas. The IMPRESSIVE Mosque, guided tour
you cannot miss the beautiful cordova and the very interesting mezquita with a discovering spain tour where there were no surprises. Everything was perfect, starting with the kind and empathetic driver Gonzalo who provided very interesting directions along the route. (obviously here too we find the passage of the Romans)
What a pleasant trip! Gonzalo, our driver and guide to the historic center of Cordoba, was very kind and arranged the schedule of the day for me to have a virtual work meeting. The guide to the Mosque had tremendous historical knowledge and a very good sense of humor. We visited several beautiful "patio houses", had lunch at a restaurant located in a 10th century Moorish bath, and toured the entire old Jewish quarter. A very pleasant day, full of laughter and learning!
We meet at 9. We left at 09:35, waiting for 3 people. A lady came in a wheelchair. We arrive in Córdoba, the guide Gonzalo gives us 45 minutes and a map to go on our own. He didn't give us time to see anything. We meet to see the mosque of Cordoba with a guide and free time to eat. After eating back to Granada. Summary, the excursion was Granada Cordoba, see mosque and return to Granada.
The schedules were met on time. We left 5 people from Granada, with Carlos (excellent driver very affable and attentive). Arriving, after a brief and illustrative walk, he gave us directions and advice for the short time we had before our appointment to visit the Alhambra with a guide from Córdoba (Miguel), very didactic, friendly and entertaining, who got me interested in delving into the history of that city and its wonder! Thank you! I'll be back!
