This was a small group tour but it was just the 3 of us and we enjoyed the personal attention. Paula was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the Alhambra and Spanish history.

Our visit to the Nasrid monument includes the three main areas: Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife-Gardens. The order to visit these varies according to the circumstances of the environment and the time of access to Nasrid Palaces. Do not worry about anything because your guide will be the one who decides the order and who informs the group about it before starting the tour. Get right and go with calm.

What a fantastic monument and a totally amazing tour. We took the 3 hour guided tour of the Alhambra and it was worth every penny! The tour was well constrcted and you were guided through with every step though of son things only got better and better. The guide was knowlegable, fund and friendly and the tour wizzed by.
We toured the Alhambra with Paula. She grew up in Granada. She told us interesting details about the history, architecture, restoration, culture, sultans, kings and queens of the Alhambra. The pace of the 3 hour tour was perfect. We had time to absorb what we were seeing and feeling. We never felt rushed. She was great about answering our questions. Her English was exceptional and easy to understand, but charming with her Granada accent.
We only booked this tour around 3 weeks beforehand and many were already fully booked. Luckily we found Lolita's Tours and our guide Paola. We were expecting a large group but it was only us and our very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and cheerful guide. She explained the history very clearly and so many interesting details that we would have. It was amazing how she maintained the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm over the 3 hour visit. It exceeded our expectations and Paola made it a perfect end to our holiday.
Although our tour was confirmed, when we arrived at the meeting place the guide let us know that tours were not allowed that day . She says it was a holiday and therefore no tours were allowed. We were not informed of this until were arrived at the designated meeting place. She did provide us with tickets snd issued a refund
Paula Fernandez from Lolita’s tours is the perfect tour guide for Alhambra. She explained the history of Alhambra leading to a UNESCO site today. The sultans, kings, palaces, calligraphy, architecture and even Napoleon played a role. It is an interesting history but my brain cannot absorbed too much facts. Those who like history, architecture, understanding of muslims and Christians influence will find the site very unique and interesting. It is better to visit Alhambra with a guide to appreciate the history.
We were very lucky to have a small group the day we did our tour with Paula. She is very knowledgeable and engaging. I had just had a great tour guide in Seville a couple of days before and didn't think I would be fortunate enough to get another that would compare byt Paula was more than up to providing a great 3 hour experience.
We have had a phenomenal experience, our tour guide “Carmela” was very impressed, she was so knowledgeable about everything, she was very patient and answered all the questions we asked, leaving behind a pleasant experience to go back. She is 100% recommended 😁
Amazing tour guide, Carolina! She was so welcoming and knowledgable about the history and architecture of the palace and its surroundings. It was truly the highlight of our trip and we were completely in awe of what we were able to see and to access. Everything was run smoothly and we were able to have a break in the middle, which was fab! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, as it is truly a work of beauty and being able to have the information given to us throughout the tour enabled us to put context to what we were seeing. Thank you so much Carolina and ‘Lolita Tours’ - it was incredible! ☺️
Busy site coupled with unbearable summer heat! But glad to we got to visit. The audio was hard hear as site so busy, would prefer face to face stops for info and explanations. Carolina is a knowledgeable guide.
Had a wonderful tour around the Alhambra and Nasrid palaces, with our tour guide Paula Fernandez. She was amazing - very knowledgeable, lots of interesting facts and history shared. We had time for some wonderful photos. She spoke excellent English and answered many questions. Although it was a 3 hr tour, and extremely hot, how she kept her enthusiasm and motivation going, was unbelievable. I am so pleased to have booked a tour with such a great guide Thank you Paula
We didn’t make it in time as the car’s navigation system led us on a wild goose chase. That left a sour taste. Not our guides fault. The guide hadn’t left our tickets at the cafe like some do but a very helpful support person at the centre was able to locate our tickets and we were given permission to go through the park by ourselves and try and catch up with the tour group which we didn’t see along the way. Not a completely wasted day
Christina, who guided us through la Alhambra was kind, very knowledgeable and willing to share a great deal of information. She was pleasant and easy to converse with. So lucky to have had her as a guide!!
Amazing trip with amazing guide Christina. She was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much and was just a perfect visit
My favorite tour in Spain! So much to see so be prepared to walk ALOT. But it is worth it. Our tour guide did a great job giving us the background and history of the buildings and features. You should consider doing an early tour so you can stay longer to look at shops and things the did not make the tour.
Great experience and fantastic guide the whole tour was made interesting and brought the history alive by the guide
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Francisco was an excellent guide through the Alhambra and Geralife gardens. It is amazing how much knowledge he has about the Alhambra and about history in general. The place is breathtaking and would have been overwhelming to manage on our own. A special treat was Francisco’s tips on the best places for photographs! I highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour so interesting. Francesco was so knowledgable and enthusiatic about the Alhambra. He was interesting and entertaining would do the tour again
We booked a tour of the Alhambra and had Fernando as our guide. We were so happy with the experience and highly recommend it. The Alhambra is extensive and my personal opinion is that you would really struggle to navigate it, let alone appreciate it, without a guide. Fernando was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and took great care of us throughout the tour. We had a young baby with us (in a carrier - Lolita Tours had helpfully responded to my questions to say that a pram is not recommended due to the steps) and Fernando took care to ensure that we were managing ok, didn't need extra stops etc. He also suggested places for the best photos and took them for us as a family which was greatly appreciated. Our tour group was small (4 adults). This was an offering that I'd looked for when booking a guide and made the experience much more personal and enjoyable. Other groups that you could see appeared to have 20/30 people on them. Lolita tours were responsive to my messages prior to the tour. It was easy to find Fernando at the start of the tour as we just met at the main entrance and he had a pink umbrella. There was nothing I'd change about the tour - 10/10.

The Alhambra complex is just magical. From the gardens to the palaces, they are a sight to behold. Our guide Lorena was fantastic - her knowledge and passion for the history of the palace was outstanding, and she answered every question thrown her way. Highly recommended this tour!
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! In the end we were just a group of two which was amazing. Being in a group meant we skipped a lot of time queueing in the blazing sun. Our tour guide was immensely knowledgeable and paced the tour exactly right. He also knew the best spots for photos and offered to take some on my phone, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. There is little to no information about the Alhambra displayed on site so I think a tour guide is indispensable to understanding this amazing monument.
Everything was amazing. Especially the Palaces. Would recommend it to everyone. A lot of walking though. Wear comfortable footwear.
Very thorough tour, small group as well. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth doing a tour to learn the history of the Alhambra.
Francisco was excellent. His knowledge comprehensive. He brought The Alhambra to life for us. We last visited in 2003 without a guide,a bad mistake. If you can, book Fransisco. You will not regret it.
Worst experience ever. We bought the tickets online 3 weeks before and they decided to cancel the reservation the morning of the visit.
Great tour! Worth making this tour. Complete walk around the complex, full of rich history, and well explained by the tour guide.
We had an unusual experience as it was pouring rain the entire day. But, the Alhambra is so incredibly amazing that we enjoyed our visit.
Amazing site. So much to see. And Marie was a great guide. So much history and multiple photo-ops. Patient and always available for her occasional wandering and unruly group
Fabulous 3 hour tour with Francesco as our guide. He was very knowledgable about the palace and Granada. It was a v hot day so he kept us in the shade where possible. Even have us tips of the best tapas bars. Highly recommend
We had to cancel this tour due to the person on the other end harassing us for passports after we told her we will send the information in a few days as she only told us last night. Thankfully Tripadvisor saw right through this behaviour and refunded us in full. She was unhelpful, abusive and scary. Please avoid booking any tours here.
This was well organised and ran to time. Our guide Francesco was lovely, attentive and sensitive to our needs as it was very hot on the day and time of our tour. He was able to not only give us incredible knowledge of the Alhambra but also about Granada. He gave us some great tips of how to take great photos an absolute must for this lovely location. A very enjoyable experience and with a guide who clearly knows his stuff. Thank you. Highly recommend.
Joined the Alhambra 3-hr tour on Jun 5. Maria, the guide, was absolutely amazing in guiding us around 20 people to walk through the great historic treasures with conscise yet professional talk throughs. Bet we would have lost our way & missed the great stories behind without her. Glad that we have chosen the guided tour, and got Maria assigned as our guide.
We have just finished our tour with Francisco and absolutely loved it. He is a great story teller and very passionate about Granada and the Alhambra. Would highly recommend!
Fabulous tour, so glad we decided to have a private tour, worth every penny! It was informative, personalised and well organised. 3 hrs well spent. A small local company who take pride in their tours. If you decide to take a tour with Lolit, be aware you need to book in advance as the Alhambra sells out quickly and tickets cannot be found. We booked two months in advance and we weren’t disappointed. Thank you Juana, you were great. This is definitely a 5 star tour.
Avoid. This is a terrible business model. They cannot guarantee tickets and cancelled on the morning of our visit. Our last day in Granada
I'm not happy at all with this agency, I would put zero if it were possible. On March 12th I booked a tour for the Alhambra for March 16th. This date wasn't available in other tour guides because they had no more tickets and I assumed that Lolita's Tours would provide the tickets as they let me book for this date. On the eve of the tour, around 00.35, I got a message from Lolita's Tours saying the following "I am Juana, your guide for tomorrow. This night Alhambra did not refresh availability like it used to do every night. I am very sorry I could not get your ticket. My apology. I will proceed with the refund :( Very sorry :( " As I was sleeping, I didn't read the message until the morning when I woke up and was about to take the train to Granada. Needless to say I had to cancel my train. I can understand that problems can happen but this is the first time ever I see a tour guide who can't guarantee to provide the tickets and still lets people book. This is not professionnal, even with a warning (that I didn't see by the way when I booked). The only good thing is I got my money refunded very quickly. The worse was the reaction of Juana who didn't want to assume her responsability and said that it was Alhambra's fault. When I pointed that to her, she went crazy hysterical and said I was harassing and threatening her. She even wrote she was about to denounce me to the police which is is a complete joke. She sounded like a child who screwed up but didn't want to recognize it. THIS IS THE WORST BEHAVIOUR I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH A SO CALLED TOUR GUIDE so know that if you book with them, it's going to be a pure lottery.
Juanita was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Lots of nuggets of information on the Alhambra. She was very efficient in guiding us around the complex. Price was slightly more than other tours but highly recommend it.
Francisco was an amazing tour guide. Highly recommended to use this your company and guide. We were a little late and they still accommodated us by meeting us up at a second point.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the palace and more. She explained many details of the palace and the significance of some key areas in the palace and made the tour very interesting.
Juana was a terrific guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Alhambra and surrounding area.
Francisco was an excellent tour guide throughout the visit. This was our first time to Granada and the Alhambra, so we were really a little unsure of what to expect. The guide used a microphone transmitting to an ear piece that each group member uses which really helps with following the information he was sharing in each section of the tour. We could tell he was truly a student of the Alhambra’s history and is very passionate about his work. The tour lasted every bit of 3 hours so be sure to eat a good meal before getting started! We toured from 12:30-3:30, making it nearly 4:30 by the time we got back to the car and drove down into the city. In typical Spanish fashion, it can be a major challenge to find local food options that are open between 4pm-7pm so keep that in mind. All in all, this was an excellent memory and we are so glad we came to visit and take this tour!
My husband and I didn’t get to meet them in person because the tour we booked was cancelled right before the day of the scheduled day. We were upset and very disappointed, but decided to go and see the palace; the fortress and the garden on our own. We weren’t happy that we had to miss the Nasrid, the highlight of the Granada visit. But, we finally got to see the Nasrid, thanks to Lolita’s!!! They tracked us down by an email and also by phone calls, and told us that they found two tickets for 4:30pm. Wow! I was willing to pay for the tickets, but she insisted that we take them as their token of apology. Lolita’s, you gave us an unforgettable experience during our trip to Spain. Our memory of the Alhambra will go together with what you did for us. Thank you!!!
Excellent tour, must do in Granada. So glad we took the tour otherwise we would be lost. Great knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed every minute. Take the taxi to the meeting place cause 3 hours of walk.
We bought the tour to Alhambra in Lolita's Tour by getyourguide. So we went to Spain and on the date of the tour (24.10.2022) at 12.15 p.m. we were at Granada. And ...shock - there are no tickets for about six peaple of the tour!!!!! THEY CANCELLED THE TOUR ON MIDNIGTH THE SAME DAY. WE DID NOT EVEN SAW E-MAIL. The reason was that Lolita's Tour could not held the reservation any more. What does it mean? No real reason (no war, flood, desease) because when we were buying the tour it was clearly stated: AVAILABLE. They are selling non existing tickets to Alhambra. As we got to know at place on 24th of October 2022 there were no tickets to attend Alhambra for a month (we bought them on 16th of October). We supose that Lolita's Tour makes all the time the so called overbooking, They have some tickets bought and some people which come to Alhambra are lucky, some are ulucky. We born costs of visiting Spain. And now nobody is guilty for such sitiation. We write this to warn everybody not to have such situation and to be carefull.
Great tour around Alhambra today with Juana. She was a depth of knowledge; enhanced the tour experience and great fun. Gracias
Great tour with a small group, booked 1 week in advance. Lola's tours offer good service. 3 hours seeing the highlights
We had already done the sunset tour the night before with Juana (which was fabulous) and had also booked a private tour of the Alhambra and palaces for the next day there was only myself and my partner. Our guide was Ellen, who was lovely. She gave us just the right amount of details and fun facts and kept the pace perfect. Prior to arrival we had great email communications with Juana and it was super easy to book. (they even sent their restaurant recommendations) I wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend this wonderful small tour group. Thank you ladies for making both tours so enjoyable. (and we learned a few things too)
Lola’s Tours offered superb service and guided tour around the Alhambra- it’s warmly recommended for anyone interested in history
Francisco was a wonderful tour guide! Our train was late from Sevilla and he waited for us. He was very knowledgeable about every place and explained a lot of history in digestible pieces. We learned so much about the Alhambra. In addition to his great tour, Francisco was kind, patient, and very accommodating. My mom is 72 and he was careful to find shade, spots for her to sit, let us take a long break for refreshments and lunch, and always pointed out steps or uneven pavement so she wouldn’t trip. We so enjoyed our tour and we’re sad when it ended, it was truly fantastic! He even made an additional stop to show us Charles V Palace at the end and gave a quick synopsis. Highly recommend this tour!!!
