Alhambra Ticket And Guided Tour With Nasrid Palaces

Lucia Gonzalez Martinez was a great guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and was always willing to answer all questions! I recommend this tour but make sure you are aware it’s in Spanish ! I purchased it thinking it was in English but thankfully I speak Spanish too so I was able to understand. It was also much cheaper than other tours so It was a great alternative when no spots were available in the official Alhambra website.

Lots of steps. Not suitable for small children and pushchairs. Was very hot when we did it. Think an evening tour would be more suitable. Very busy.

Great tour guide showed us all the history of Alahambra. She even provided many small details that made it very enjoyable.

Really bad organisation! First, we were told 2 days before that our tour was an hour earlier "for organisational reasons". It was really difficult for our travel plans. When we got there an hour earlier, the tour guide company that we had been deferred to didn't have any of our info. I had to call Viator in the US from my Austrian phone in Spain to find out what our company was called. Noone answered my messages in the app. I was lucky that the staff from the other agency was very helpful and in the end we went on their tour with a great guide. But keep your fingers from this company!

Our guided tour of the Alhambra was amazing: it made it so much more meaningful to learn about and understand the history of what we were seeing. Our guide was amazing: a true story teller and very knowledgeable. And we were lucky enough that we ended up with a small group, for a more personalized experience and by booking late day, the site was much quieter. All making for a wonderful experience.

Well organised and extensive tour of the Alhambra complex, including the beautiful Generife gardens, impressive Alcázar and spectacular Nasrid Palaces.

While the overall experience was good, the last-minute change was disappointing. I received notice less than 24 hours before the tour that I’d need to cancel or settle for an audio-only version. My refund is still outstanding, and I’d appreciate an update.

A lot of walking but absolutely worth it! Our guide Marta was knowledgeable, friend and funny. It was a beautiful place with lots of hidden pieces of history.

DO NOT USE. The activity was cancelled 4 minutes after the entry time to Alhambra. Andalusia Travel Experiences claims that they immediately cancelled and refunded the order, but such claims were never conveyed to us ONLY after we were at Alhambra and were prohibited from entry due to lack of tickets/reservations.

The weather conditions where not good and we couldn’t see much. The guide tried to explain but he didn’t say a lot of stories he just provided information and it was really rushed.. not worth the price we paid!

The tour guide was not at the designated meeting place. The guide was at a different location. And we had to go to yet another location to check in after we finally located the guide. Very poor communication and logistics. The tour started late. The guide was hard to understand. She spoke too fast and moved the group too quickly. We were very disappointed. Do not waste your money on this tour group.

Excellent guide very knowledgeable and interesting historical review. Better to do both Alhambra and Narsid palaces together

Laura was a wonderful tour guide mixing facts with fun. We found the start point a little difficult to find so go towards the shop and it’s there. There was another much larger group starting at the same time so we queued for that first in error. Our group was only 18 people which was perfect.

Irene was an amazing tour guide who took us through that beautiful place. Her knowledge was incredible; we learned so much!!

The guide was a font of knowledge about everything from architecture to the gardens, the history to religion.

This is an amazing venue, not to be missed when visiting Granada. Our guide Borge was phenomenally passionate and informative. Our only beef was that signage is virtually non-existent to get back to the parking lots. We were misinformed and ended up walking all the way down to the village only to be told we needed to climb back up. Please create signage that is clear for anyone to read!!

The entire tour was incredible! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Alhambra. We were fortunate to see the beauty of Alhambra and the palaces of Nasrid! The grounds and gardens were also beautiful and filled with history!

The 3 hour tour spent way too much time in areas that were not very interesting. I would have preferred to wander on my own and explore more. We only spent the last 25 min in the Nasrid palaces after walking around for 2.5 hours. It should probably start there. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Alhambra and the various ruling eras of Granada.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The site is vast so a guide is very useful. Excellent views from many locations. Fascinating history!

We waited at the pre arranged location and were most concerned when the start time came and went but no guide was present I called the office to be told that ‘we were not there’ as the guide could not see us We confirmed the meeting location as correct and the office said to wait there and the guide would see us Eventually the guide came and told us that the meeting place had been changed! No one thought to tell us. Although we still enjoyed the tour the initial problem left us feeling quite negative. It is fundamental to give the correct information and you failed.

We enjoyed our small group tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. He didn't rush and asked any questions that were posed. The tour was 3 1/2 hours and there was lots of time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Thanks so much to the tour guide Sow!

The guide was excellent....her knowledge very comprehensive...her English was fluent...could not have asked for a better guide.

I really enjoyed the tour. The guide was affable, very knowledgeable, and all around fun to walk around the complex with. Well worth it. Word of advice: if it is really cold, save the tour for another day. We were experiencing sub-freezing temperatures overnight , and as nice as the tour was, 3 hours in the cold was really hard to endure. There is not heat.

We’re not guided tour people but we decided to do this tour due to the size of the place and so glad we did. Our guide Isabel was very knowledgeable and friendly. She didn’t go to deep into the history but enough to understand it. I would definitely recommend this tour!

This was an excellent tour, well organized and very informative. Our guide Ana spoke great English and was really enjoyable, and shared lots of interesting historical info about the Alhambra, the city of Granada, and life in the Alhambra under the sultans. I appreciated that she emphasized they were Spanish people. Very good guide and tour. Highly recommend!

Carmen is an e trembly knowledgeable tour guide. Her narration transported us back in time. She shared the rich history of the Al Hambra in an engaging manner. She was able to answer everyone’s questions and made the e experience quite memorable!

Our guide was fantastic. Knowledgeable and warm and always available to answer our questions. For instance, I am of Sephardic Jewish descent and he was well versed in that history, although it was not his own.

What a beautiful experience. Pepa our tour guide was awesome and very informative. Warning if your going to the 1700 tour; wear comfortable clothes and stay hydrated. Will definitely do again.

I took the English tour, hearing equipment was quite handy, our guide Sergio was friendly, supportive and attentive to all, guided us throughout, most of all he gave historic details and answer our questions. kept us in shade where possible (it was 40C on the day of tour). 3 hours tours is just right pace to visit all palaces.

Ana was a great guide - knowledgable and funny! It was great to see all three areas, to give better context to how Spaniards lived in Granada, the politics, etc.

Great tour but be cautious, it’s a lot of walking, some up and down. A lot of steps. Wear great shoes. Important to have a great tour guide.

Alhambra is vast and steeped in fascinating history, which is why a guide such as we had is a must. The tour is three hours and Anna was very knowledgeable and fun.

First time to Granada so we took this tour. It was very good highly informative and well paced. Our guide had excellent English and superb local knowledge! Would highly recommend

Better communication from the tour company, Andulucia Travel Experience. Our tour was for 10:00 AM, and the guide didn't show up. We and another couple had to struggle and get in touch with the tour company. After 30 minutes, we finally made contact, and were told our time was cancelled, and we were to join a later group at 12 noon. Neither of us received any communication about this change. We had to waste 2 hours waiting for the 12 noon tour. Of course, we were all angry, and no apology from the company ! The tour was supposed to be a small group, but we had 20 with a poor communication microphone and earphones. Very hard to hear in a crowd. Not personal. Overall. Would Not recommend this company.

If you are visiting the Alhambra, it is definitely worth having a guide to help you make the most of your visit. The time of the tour was changed the day before from 10am to 11am which I was a little concerned about as it was a hot day. However there are many shady areas and some of the tour is inside, so it was fine. Ana, our tour guide was very interesting and knowledgeable- we were a group of 10 and I think a group any but her than this would have been difficult.

An excellent tour with a very knowledgable guide, who did not rush us and in fact the tour lasted over 3 and a half hours. We were a bit late arriving at the meet point due to Google maps, but the tour operator rang to see where we were, and when she heard that we were just parking. she rang the guide who held the tour for us. We were most grateful.

First, let me say that our guide Carmen was absolutely wonderful! The Alhambra is truly at the very top of my list of most spectacular sites. My complaint is on the timing of this tour. It started at 5.30 and by the time we got into the palace it was completely dark outside (6.30) and soooo cold. If you go in the winter, bring extra layers hat and gloves; it is high up and freezing. The lighting for night tours is really not ideal and detracts from the tour. This tour should really start at 4.30 so you get a full hour of sunset (and a bit more warmth) in the amazing Alhambra.

Marie Carmen explained the different settings very well and kept us going in the heat with illustrations and anecdotes as we explored the Fotress and gardens. We did not book early enough to find a tour including the Nasrid palaces but we felt we got a very good overview of the Alhambra none the less

Alhambra and the Generalife gardens were wonderful! Our tour guide Carmen Marie was friendly, informative and lovely! We recommend doing the Alhambra with the gardens, definitely worth it!

The guide had a lot of knowledge and allowed us a pleasant visit despite the large crowds. The visit was rescheduled from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. I learned late that the guide was bringing the real tickets with him.
