A wonderful private tour. Esther was our guide, she very knowledgeable, funny, and kind. We loved everything. The places we visited were breathtaking! Highly recommend this tour!

This company is a total FRAUD. We booked Alhambra tour with them six weeks in advance. I emailed them to confirm and also request if we could pick up the tickets from their office. They said we could do so. Then, two days before our tour, they emailed to cancel our tickets. We had travelled thousands of miles, spent thousands of dollars to be in Granada for seeing Alhambra. For them to sell us overpriced tickets and then cancel last minute without even a somewhat honest explanation is completely ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS.

The private tour far exceeded our expectations. Esther and the four of us were excited to hear of the history of the area as well as the evolution of the fortress and the castles. The multiculturalism was fascinating. The Palace of the Lions was my favorite, but some of the group preferred the gardens of Generalife. Esther was great as she described each element of the complex in amazing detail. She also answered our numerous questions.

Visiting the Alhambra was a wonderful experience, and our guide Esther made it truly unforgettable. She explained even the smallest details about the Alhambra and the history of Granada with great knowledge and passion. Esther is a very professional and friendly guide, we learned many interesting things we didn’t know before.

The start was a bit stressful, as I had booked a tour for 10:00am. I got a message at 12:30am telling me the time needed to be pushed back to 9:30am. We arrived at about 9:15am, and so my husband went to get coffee. While he stepped away, our tour guide called asking where we were because our tour was supposed to start at 9:00am. This made the start a bit rushed, and I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't seen the message at 12:30am. Our tour guide Ester was excellent. She provided a lot of information, recommended the best places for photographs, and gave us a little time to explore each area. We did not feel rushed during the tour. I would definitely recommend doing a tour with Ester. I am really happy we decided to take a tour and not just wander through on our own. El Alhambra es una maravilla!

You can't go to Granada and not spend some time visiting the majestic Alhambra. We enjoyed our private tour so much. Words cannot express the beauty the Alhambra holds within its grounds, but the presence it has over the city. We learned so much history and stories as we took in the incredible gardens and views.

We had a private tour on the 8th of October, 2024 and our guide was excellent. His knowledge of the history and the Alhambra was extensive. He allowed us to go at our pace and we were able to see the whole area, all structures and the gardens. The ability to avoid lines and have such a personal experience was worth the investment. The Alhambra was the reason we traveled to Granada and our expectations were exceeded.

We booked this tour several weeks before our trip and enjoyed our tour very much. It started with the garden before our Alhambra tickets at 10:30 in the morning. Then, we saw the Alhambra, the Medina, three palaces, and Alcázar. Esther was wonderful and very knowledgeable. i would highly recommend the private tour as it moves at your pace and it’s quite convenient as you get to the front of the line for every entrance.

We had a 3 H tour together with Esther: she was great, spoke good English, explained the history and looked to give her explanations in the shade where possible (as it was 41 degrees) - we had a great time and an interesting visit to the Alhambra

We just returned from a combined Grand Mediterranean and Transatlantic cruise lasting 28-days. We visited many amazing ports, but Malaga was one of our very favorites specifically because of this private tour of Alhambra. To alleviate any concerns about "missing the boat" afterwards, we had booked the ship's "Granada on Your Own" excursion for the guaranteed return transportation between Malaga and Granada. Once in Granada we took a taxi to a cafe near the entrance of Alhambra, where we met our private guide - Juan Vera. I cannot imagine visiting this amazing place without Juan. Yes, we would have appreciated the beauty of Alhambra and the Palaces without him - but we would have missed out on learning about the complex history and culture which are at least as important, and just as fascinating. Juan is knowledgeable and an excellent speaker/teacher, and his passion for Alhambra is contagious. His English is flawless, his pace was easy and relaxed and we comfortably covered the entire place in the allotted time. And we had him all to ourselves! Do yourself a favor - don't make a mistake and think you can just show up at Alhambra and get in - there were a lot of disappointed passengers who made that assumption. And if you do manage to get admission tickets in advance, don't think you can get as much from a pre-recorded tape and headset or even a "group tour". This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so do it right. Book this private tour with Viator, and with luck you may get Juan as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

What an experience! Mano (Manuel) our guide, is a fountain of knowledge and fun to spend three hours with. He made it so simple for us, otherwise we would not have known or understood what we were looking at. Alhambra is huge - it’s a city and castle and fortress and palaces all in one. We booked this private tour as my husband is a history major and always has a lot of questions. Our tour guide, Alberto, was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He explained the intricate detail of the architecture, the reasons behind the fountains, the areas of secret listening and viewing. He told us about the stories of the past as well as some of the legends. We have taken tours across Spain. By far, this one was the best and Alberto was the best!

Alberto’s pride in his beautiful city of Granada, and country of Spain was only surpassed by his friendliness, warmth, and knowledge of this magnificent historical wonder. Alberto knew all of the intricacies of even the most detailed part of this vast and beautiful place and he answered our many questions with patience and pride. He was also very diligent in explaining when we had to be extra careful in taking photos without the use of flash and areas where patrons could and could not touch parts of the various palaces. Alberto beamed with pride as he told us how much he loved the Alhambra and sharing its wonders with visitors like us and if you have an opportunity to take this private tour, it will be worth every penny. We bypassed all lines and strolled throughout the magnificent Alhambra as Alberto enlightened us on the centuries of history, fact, and perspective. We would highly recommend this tour. Esther was very knowledgeable. She showed us many things we would have missed if we did this on our own. In particular, the walk through and explanation of General Life was a highlight. A bonus is that with a group tour you get to skip the lines. Definitely worth it!

Super informative tour provided by a guide who truly loves the Alhambra. My family and I learned a lot about the vast history of the city inside a city. I've visited the Alhambra without a guide previously, but this was 100 times better. Time flew as we explored the sites, and our guide focused on the very best parts. Price was very affordable too, for a party of 5, and it was so convenient to be able to skip all the lines.
