Very organized and informative tour. It was much more enjoyable to have a guide and not try to navigate the complex alone. Highly recommend!
Carlos was an excellent tour guide! Please be prepared for a lot of walking and steps, but an excellent tour!
Antonio our guide was very knowledgeable and made it very interesting! Highly recommend. Alahabra was amazing
The tour is filled with mesmerizing views of Alhambra and its surroundings! The walk through Generalife, palace, & alcazaba was amazing! Hamza (guide) was super knowledgeable and impressive with details of Alhambra both the history & contemporary facts! Very much recommended!
Excellent tour by Sandra. She’s polite, knowledgeable and answers everyone’s questions. I would recommend this tour.
Georgia, our guide, was well informed. The tour was mostly at a good place. We enjoyed being in a small group.
Georgia with our tour guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. I would highly recommend going at the end of October when it’s cooler and not raining. This was one of my favorite tours ever, and the experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. I appreciated that it was easy to find the tour group and that she kept us informed and moving through the crowd well.
Luis our guide was excellent. Relaxed, informed and unhurried he made it one of the best guided tours we’ve ever done.
Arthuro was excellent in explaining the history of the Alhambra. We were able to see all areas of such an amazing place. It was very a very comprehensive tour and would thoroughly recommend it.
Wow what an incredible tour! Our guide Luis was super knowledgeable and led us around telling us about the fascinating history - there is no way we’d have appreciated visiting here without this guided tour. Having the ear piece meant we could always hear him clearly.
Such an amazing experience! Incredible sights, beautiful gardens and architecture. Made so much better by our guide Luis, who had such an incredible knowledge, and passion for the history that I also learnt a huge amount. Luis, I tried the green Alahambra beer, its great like you said! :)
Celia was pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the deep, intricate history and architecture of the Alhambra and all of Granada through the centuries. Such an amazing and unforgettable experience.
Vanessa was an excellent guide! She provided a wonderful tour of the gardens and palaces! Would love to revisit one day.
The Alhambra is an amazing ancient site. The gardens are beautiful. And the tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and professional. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
The worst tour experience of my life. Everyone involved was rude. The directions were worthless. Customer service worthless. Guide nowhere to be seen. I made a special trip to see the Alhambra and because of this terrible “company” it was a wasted, worthless trip.
We loved this tour! Georgia was an amazing tour guide. Highly recommend this tour. We learned a lot and got some wonderful photos.
It will be a highlight of your trip in Spain. For maximum enjoyment, pre-read Washington Irving's book on the Alhambra.
The tour was good. We had some early rain to deal with but thankfully it stopped as the tour started at noon. The meeting instructions were not as clear as could be. The meeting place is crowded so finding a white umbrella on the ground vs being held high would have been better. Our guide Celia was nice. Her English was good enough but accent strong sometimes so hard to understand especially when the audio equipment was staticy at times which didn’t help matters. Overall the tour for 3 hours was enough for me. Walking on rock paths was hard on my feet. Note: you’ll Need more time after the tour to see the museum and go back to take pics. We were hungry by 3:30 pm so didn’t stay longer to go thru the rest of the museum. You have to go outside of the area to find restaurants. But your ticket allows you to come back into the free areas only later. Important: one of the couples in our group had an issue with entering because she left her passport in her room but the husband had his. So she had to wait in another area till he was done. They are strict about having your passport or id used to sign up. Can’t enter with just your ticket. Also can’t use selfie sticks to take pics! Tour guide will collect ear pieces at the end. Said they reuse them. Not sure how they clean them or reset the band part which stretches over the ear, but maybe try bringing your own ear phones as the ones given do hurt behind your ear after a while especially if you wear glasses.
The experience was wonderful. Christina was our tour guide and very knowledgeable.
Very interesting and informative tour. 3 hours in total and a lot of walking with some steps but a welcome half hour break in the middle.Definitely worth the price paid.
We had an excellent small group tour in English with Carlos from NHUE. His knowledge of the history and the cultural significance of the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens was impressive. He provided clear and interesting information. It felt personal, not just a recitation of facts. There were two things that didn't help the experience however. Firstly, the attraction was overcrowded. There were so many people there, that at times it was hard to see or photograph interesting aspects of the buildings. Secondly, there was a confusion about which paths were open and which ones were closed. This caused us to have to take a 20-minute detour around the closure. Neither of these problems were caused by the tour operator, but they did negatively impact our enjoyment of the site.
It was a memorable tour with our guide Arnau explaining everything nicely. He was funny, dedicated and knowledgeable which made the entire tour worth remembering. Highly recommended.
This an experience that you will never forget, if you like history this is the place to go, although it make a big difference, whom is your guide, Antonio is remarkable great, knowledge and ease to understand
The tour was amazing and our guide Arnault was knowledgeable, adept at managing a big group and kept the 3 hour tour interesting from beginning to end.
An excellent, comprehensive tour of the Alhambra with a knowledgeable guide who secured our tickets, tailored the experience to our needs, and skillfully avoided the crowds. Her insights brought the history to life and made the visit especially rewarding. Highly recommended. Aiyana rocks
A perfect 3-hour tour! The duration felt just right, and the group size was not too crowded. Our guide was clear, concise, and engaging throughout, making the history super easy to follow. Excellent time management from start to finish. Highly recommended
Eva was an excellent tour Guide, she explained everything clearly and very professionally.
Viator has yet to let me down. This was a complicated visit to Alhambra as our cruise ship was scheduled to do too late for us to make our admission time. Viator accommodated us in creative ways that still made this visit to an amazing place possible for us. Everything had been sold out for days on end so trying to reschedule was not an option.Thank you for thinking out of the box and helping us!
Excellent tour. Well paced and 5pm was the best time to go as it was cooler and less busy. The tour guide was excellent (from Machester, but can't remember her name), really knew a lot about the Palace and gave a great tour.
The Alhambra and Generalife are undeniably beautiful, and the gardens were a real highlight of this small-group tour. The open palace interiors were also impressive, with stunning architecture, intricate details, and plenty of history to appreciate. However, several rooms were closed, including the Sultan’s Throne Room, due to earthquake damage earlier in the year. This was particularly disappointing, as it was one of the rooms I had been most interested in seeing. While I understand that closures for safety and restoration are sometimes unavoidable, clearer advance notice would have helped set expectations. I also found the pace a little slow for my personal preference, and parts of the presentation became repetitive. A more concise and energetic delivery would have kept the tour moving and made the experience more engaging. Overall, the gardens and palaces make the Alhambra well worth visiting, but the room closures and slower tour style meant the experience did not quite meet my expectations.
We had an absolutely incredible three-hour walking tour of the Alhambra and Generalife with our wonderful guide, Nerea Aguiler. She was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, bringing the history and beauty of the Alhambra and Generalife to life with fascinating stories and insights. The Alhambra and Generalife are truly spectacular and a must-see in Granada, and having Nerea as our guide made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend her and this tour!
Good experience with knowledgeable guide. He answered questions and kept the group engaged. Very helpful.
Our guide (Naria/Nadia sorry I didn’t catch it) was fantastic. Very friendly, organized and knowledgeable
We really enjoyed our tour of the Alhambra and Generalife with Juan. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and very informative, making the whole experience both interesting and enjoyable. The audio headsets made it easy to hear him clearly and follow his explanations throughout the tour. We also appreciated his helpful suggestions for things to do in Granada afterward—a thoughtful touch that helped us make the most of our visit. Juan did a great job, and we would happily recommend this tour!
Plenty of info before meeting. Christina was an excellent guide, book early for palace it was well worth it.
Very enjoyable tour of Generalife and the Alhambra. Vanessa, our guide, was lovely and informative - highly recommend
Dingo was excellent! He was very knowledgeable not only about the Alhambra but also about Spanish history. Highly recommended!
The description of the tour did not include that there are many stairs that may be difficult to climb as they don't have handrails,
Our guide, Andrea, was terrific! Very knowledgeable about history, architecture, culture. She talked for three hours! She was friendly and enthusiastic. The tour was well paced with several bathroom stops and rest stops. (Tour started at 9:00 when it was less crowded)
Good tour - make sure you have the full ticket including palaces. Celia was very knowledgeable and took many questions.
Andrea was fabulous, hugely knowledgeable, patient with crowds and very fun to learn the history
Fantastic knowledgeable tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions and made everyone feel involved and energized
Good Alhambra tour with Anis We had a smooth experience visiting the Alhambra with Anis. He was on time, which made the start of the tour easy and efficient. Anis has a lot of knowledge about the history and architecture. He explained everything clearly and kept the walk interesting without overwhelming us with too many details. He is also a sympathetic guy—very pleasant, polite, and easy to talk to. He answered our questions well and maintained a relaxed pace throughout the visit. Overall, he is a great guide. If you are looking for a reliable and informative tour of the Alhambra, Anis is a very solid choice.
We have used get your guide a fee times now and always excellent guides and keep you updated with plenty of info before meeting
The tour with Jamie was a really worthwhile investment. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable and gave a lot of context to the sights we visited and was able to answer every question thrown at him, not possible on an audio tour! We loved that he clearly was proud of his home town and its historical significance. Highly recommended.
A great way to see the Alhambra and palaces and understand the history. It's about 3 hours and is relatively fast paced, but that is because the Alhambra site is so big. Our guide, Carlos, gave a great tour and was funny.
Arnau our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us informed with many interesting details during our 3 hour tour!
Guillermo was a fantastic guide. Tour was well paced, audio was clear. Having a small group was well worth it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable.
This is an excellent tour. The Alhambra and the Nasrid Palaces are amazing. Lots of history and beautifully views. Our guide did a great job keeping us all together. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the place, he made the tour a lot more interesting. Highly recommended. It is worth to see such beautiful place.
