Hotel Andalucia Center

Hotel Andalucía Center is a clean, budget-friendly option offering exceptional value, reliable Wi-Fi, and a standout rooftop terrace with incredible views. Rooms are spacious with plenty of luggage storage, comfortable spring beds, effective AC, and a large bathroom featuring a bathtub and a separate bidet area. Practical perks include free luggage storage, extensive room service options, and cheap airport bus access (€3). However, the property feels generic and corporate with plain room decor, away from Granada’s historic charm and situated in an uninteresting neighborhood—roughly a 25-minute walk to the city center and 40 minutes to the Alhambra. Breakfast buffet is available for €16 per person, though we didn't have it.

Hotel restaurants earn their skepticism. Most exist because guests are too tired to go looking for something better. Al-Zagal is not that restaurant. We ate here twice during our stay, which tells you what you need to know. The first time was convenience. The second was a choice. The menu is more thoughtful than you'd expect from a four-star hotel café. The potato wedges came heavily seasoned and sauced, the kind of side dish that keeps getting eaten past the point you planned to stop. The pizzas had proper crust, properly blistered, with toppings that were generous and well-balanced. A BBQ chicken with red onion that worked, and a straightforward margherita done right. Nothing was hotel-grade safe. The kitchen clearly takes it seriously. The service matched. Attentive without hovering, which is its own skill. If you're staying here, don't default to eating elsewhere just because it's the hotel restaurant.

Hotel was very clean, staff was wonderful and friendly. However the rooms could use a slight renovation.

I stayed 2 nights at this well maintained and well managed quiet comfortable hotel centrally located in Granada. My room was modern, clean and spacious with a large washroom with excellent water pressure, plenty of closet space, safety deposit box, mini fridge stocked with purchasable refreshments and snacks and efficient air conditioning. The wifi reception was excellent. I received a complimentary underground garage parking space with my reservation for my rent a car. Hotel staff were professional, courteous and spoke English at reception. Guests have the option of purchasing the breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. This was a comfortable and quiet stay for me in a very pleasant environment and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Granada.
