Catalonia Granada

Stayed on and off for about 3 weeks. Rooms are very smart and comfortable, nice terrace a pool, all very clean. The reception team are very professional and helpful, I left a couple of items in my room and they were very helpful in retrieving them! They also upgraded me for free on multiple nights and also I was able to check in early too. Gym is decent for a hotel and was pretty much empty in aug/sept. The hotel itself is in a nice quiet location but really only 15 mins walk from the centre of the city. Other hotels were pricier but just didnt look as good or as modern. Good supermarket right around the corner. Would def stay there again.

Fabulous service, rooms and extras. Comfortable beds with two densities of pillows. Aircon is of course very welcome in the hot weather (there was a heatwave early September with outdoor temperatures of up to 40°.) They gave us a large bottle of mineral water both days which was very welcome. They gave us a room upgrade from a small to larger terraced, which was a pleasant surprise. The very wide shower head over the bath was a novelty and really good. The extra toiletries provided were great too, including eco friendly toothbrushes and mini toothpaste. The cocktails on the roof were good. The breakfast is outstanding and the restaurant food is pretty good. The location is good and you can go one stop on the 21 and 33 buses to the Cathedral along the Gran Vía de Colón. It's a bit of a schlep on foot otherwise, especially if hot. The hotel itself is very pleasant but the building next door that we looked out onto is a bit ugly unfortunately. The rooftop pool is great but very shallow. You can float and cool off but swimming not so much unless you want your knees touching the floor but it's a lovely thing to have in a hot city. Overall we would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is plentiful and everything tastes great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Alejandro, in particular, was very kind and pleasant!

I visited this amazing establishment with a group of students from the US, and we were all extremely pleased with everything the hotel provided us. The reception (Alba, Roger, Raúl, Edu, and everyone else) was polite, friendly, helpful, and extremely efficient. Alejandro was a tremendous help with providing us a delicious breakfast with more options than I could ever imagine: fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, fried AND scrambled eggs, multiple types of chorizo, yogurts, and breads. They had traditional Spanish meats and cheeses, as well as dishes from other areas so that all of their guests could find something fresh and delicious to eat. It was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in Spain this trip. Alejandro was also extremely helpful with me at the bar giving me ice and showing me how traditional drinks are made. Granada is a beautiful city, and Andalucía is the best region to visit in Spain. While in Granada, I highly recommend that you choose Hotel Catalonia Granada. You will note disappointed! From the amazing reception by Alba, Roger, Raúl, and Edu at the front desk to the fantastic service from Alejandro at the bat and at breakfast, your stay here will make this trip even more memorable! Also the view from the roof top is SPECTACULAR!
