🛏️ Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. The different lighting modes for sleep, focus, and relaxation were a really nice touch! 🧑💼 The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. 🛋️ The room felt incredibly cozy, with a balcony overlooking the cathedral and the street below. Such a lovely setting to wake up to! 🚽 The bathroom was excellent, super clean, and stocked with shampoo and all the toiletries we needed. 📍 The location is fantastic, right in the city center and perfect for exploring on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, including a very nice café right downstairs. 🅿️ On-site parking was very convenient, costing €1 per hour—around €25 per day. You drive into a car lift that takes you and your car down to the garage and back up, which was a very cool experience! 🏨 We had an amazing stay at Áurea Catedral and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada!

We had a wonderful stay at Áurea Catedral Hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Granada and within easy walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Despite being so central, our room was very quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a contemporary design that made the stay feel very pleasant. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely helpful and attentive. When we were in a rush to catch our train and had takeout food with us, the staff kindly provided utensils so we could eat on the way. They also gave us helpful information about the typical taxi fare to the Alhambra, which made getting around much easier. Overall, a great hotel for anyone visiting Granada — convenient location, quiet and modern rooms, and wonderful service. We would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is located right behind the Granada Cathedral, with windows overlooking it. The Alhambra is relatively far away; it’s not so much the distance as the constant uphill climb that’s tiring, especially in the 40 degrees it was during our visit. The hotel has a fairly minimalist design with a simple lobby. The rooms aren’t large, but they’re comfortable and clean, and the bathroom is well-equipped and clean. The air conditioning works flawlessly. The beds are comfortable, though I’ve slept on better-quality mattresses before. Parking is available at the hotel; an elevator takes the car down to the parking level, which is a very ingenious solution in a place where the narrow layout of the old buildings would make driving down almost impossible. In theory, driving into the area is restricted to a closed zone, but when we told the gatekeeper which hotel we were going to, they let us in without any fuss. The street leading there is narrow but passable—definitely better than, say, in Toledo. The staff handled check-in quickly, and we were off to explore the city. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel, so we didn’t try the hotel restaurant. The breakfast fully meets the four-star standard; everything you’d expect is available. Overall, we stayed at a hotel with an excellent location that met all expectations of a four-star hotel in every respect, took care of our parking, but wasn’t outstanding in any particular area. It definitely falls into the “highly recommended” category.
The location of this hotel is so perfect! The staff is always so helpful and friendly. We have stayed here several times and we love them all! They did a fantastic job helping me make my husband‘s birthday special. The rooms are so incredibly comfortable and beautiful! The views are stunning!
What a gem and my stay isn't even over! The location, customer service and the amenities are exactly as advertised -- perfect! Overall: 9/10 Details: 1. My check-in was seemless with the hotel staff. And to top it off they had parking which is a huge PLUS in Granada. *everyone spoke English (that matters) 2. Pricing - worth every coin and not over priced!!!!! ***huge plus 3.. The rooms are big enough- size was, modern look and feel. And yes the bed was comfy not worn in/down. I also had a balcony 4.. The workout room was small but enough to get a good swet with a treadmill, bike and weights 5. Breakfast is provided daily This was my first time here and trust, this is the ONLY hotel I will stay at when visiting Granda!!!
