You cannot trust the pictures from Google maps, they do not have a spa or an indoor pool. I booked the room based on the pictures of the indoor pool. I was told that the indoor pool has not been working for at least 2 years. You would think that someone would have been able to make the changes to the pictures in Google maps in the 2 years that the indoor pool has been out of service. Other area of the facility are under renovation, and believe me it needs it. Don't expect much here. You'll get a clean room and a buffet with, well, buffet food. Nothing special. Our room cost came to a total of €110.50, with breakfast and it was €12.50 to park. If you're bugdet minded I think you might be better off skipping breakfast for a short walk to a very nice pastry shop around the corner. UPDATE, despite the apologies for the inaccurate pictures, they management still has not made the corrections. Their apology is therefore an empty vessel.

Sept 2026 / Apparently this hotel is undergoing restoration/ modernisation, but there is no evidence of that! Wherever you look there is decay. The condition this property is in it should be 2 stars, certainly not 4! I am disappointed that my Travel company has chosen this hotel! On the plus side, the female staff member in the pool bar area was helpful and friendly and the pool was refreshing.
I was shocked by how dirty this place was. The main room was fine, but the public areas were unacceptable. The carpets were not only old and had poor patchwork done (if that's what it is), but they were disgusting - discolored and streaked with dirt. The pool had actual dirt piles diffusely throughout - and not just dirt you had to be up close to see. I forgot to take photos when I went down to the pool when it was open, so I went down the next morning to take pictures, but it was closed. Thankfully (or not, actually), I was able to capture the dirt on photo all the way from the elevator. In the restaurant, the chairs had a fabric laid on top (not reupholstered or even seat covers) which was dirty, covering a seat that was in even worse shape. The light fixtures had different color/temperature bulbs within the same fixture (some warm white, some daylight, some cool light) which is not a big deal, but they were dirty and discolored, clearly not having been cleaned. I don't mind when accommodations are outdated, but they need to be clean. This was unacceptable.
The hotel has some good points, the location and the atrium, the staff is friendly, but the quality of the rooms is low for the price they charge. The shower in the first room didn't work, and you can see the same quality in the second room from the photos. I recommend looking for something better. Services like the spa are not available. If you want to rest and relax, there are better hotels. My criticism is constructive so they can improve and serve as a reference. I do not recommend it.
My experience at Abades Nevada Palace Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, with spacious and very clean rooms that provide great comfort after a long day. The staff were professional, polite, and always willing to assist with any request, which made the stay even more pleasant. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city center and public transportation. The breakfast was rich, fresh, and well organized, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The hotel facilities are well maintained, calm, and relaxing, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, Abades Nevada Palace offers great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and comfortable stay. I would definitely return in the future.
