Unforgettable Sea Trip To The Wind Farms In The North Sea

Great experience to see the wind turbines up close. Fun getting there on speedboat. We were lucky to do this activity on a sunny day.

We did a trip to the port of Zeebrugge instead of the wind farms and it was FANASTIC! We had a great trip, the captain was really kind and professional.

Before the tour, we got to watch a documentary movie about the wind farms which was very informative. The tour itself was 2.5 hours in a small boat (the inflatable type boat shown on some of their web pages - not the bigger boat that features in the movie-banner on the homepage of their website). The conditions were quite sporty (around 5 BFT wind with 1m waves) so that at the end we were completely soaked by the spray. We were at the front of the boat where you can really feel the waves. It may therefore not be for everyone, but for us it was perfect and a greatly enjoyable experience - we absolutely loved every minute of it and would go again in a heartbeat. The owner of the business as well as the skipper were very friendly - the organisation is small and informal which for us counts as another plus. As for the tour itself, you go up to 600m from the wind farms (as close as legally possible) which gives a good impression of how gigantic the whole operation is. On the way and back you also cross a busy shipping lane, which provides great views of the big container ships in action. All in all a fantastic experience. They could however be more explicit on their website about the type of boat and the possibility of rougher conditions and getting wet, so that people would have a clear view before booking of what type of experience they might get depending on the conditions.

Really great tour out to the wind farm and back. They spoke English French and Dutch, so everyone could understand. It was really interesting to see the turbines up close, and the boat ride was really fun. Highly recommended. We plan to do another one of their tours next time we go to Blankenberge.

Rip-off. No explanation beforehand, no explanation on site. Just an hour there and an hour back for a high price. Not recommended. If we let them know, they wouldn't care.

You leave in a zodiac, sitting straddled in groups of 2, one behind the other, or on a bench for 2 or 3 side by side, for an hour-long ride at medium speed, headwind, towards the wind turbines. Bring a sweater, even in good weather, sunscreen, sunglasses, and no need for a hat or cap because it is too windy. Meanwhile, you make 2 stops to receive explanations about the different buoys encountered. Once there, you will not approach the wind turbines closer than one kilometer. You will have time to take photos. You will receive some explanations in the chosen language for 10 minutes. Nothing very technical. Do not hesitate to ask your questions to flesh out the information. Then, return to the port, with the wind at your back.

Attention with this company, voucher purchased, trip several times unable to continue due to weather conditions and illness captain, then dates proposed yourself, no response, voucher expired, money lost

The activity was cancelled by the claimant, I was not reimbursed. While I had paid for non-refundable train tickets to Blankenberge.

It is definitely not worth your money, just a stupid boat .Not at all like the picture. My grandson was very disappointed, I only have one word for that, DECEPTION!!!

Blissful enjoyment on the water with warm weather. Enjoy at sea first class. The wind farm is also impressive. And return along the pier. A view you don't have otherwise.

After telephone contact there would only be a cancellation if the wind is in the wrong direction. ( large waves ). In case of rain, it continues. Ok we pay and keep this afternoon off. 1 day before the trip I call, answers was, we are only 6 people and it could possibly rain. So you never have the certainty of being able to do the activity.

Nice boat trip with cool rib boat to the wind farm. Good explanation before departure. Only flaw was that the captain did not explain when we arrived at the wind farm.

Die Betreuung war von Anfang an freundlich und kompetent, wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Die vorbereitende Einführung ist informativ und gut verständlich. Auf unsere Sicherheit wurde stets geachtet, sei es bei der Schwimmweste oder beim Einstieg in das Boot. Die Fahrt war ein tolles Erlebnis für uns, Kapitän Wolter machte seine Sache hervorragend. Sogar einen Seehund entdeckte er unterwegs. Alle unsere Fragen wurden beantwortet und weitere Infos gegeben. Diese Fahrt war jeden Cent wert, wir empfehlen sie gerne weiter.

The boat trip was fun but you don't really get close to the windmills. Just a nice trip with an interesting film and explanation beforehand.

First time out to sea with such a boat ;) I thought it was great, calm sea but still a bit adventurous. Captain Wouter makes it a safe trip and is very easy to deal with. Afterwards we have a chat over a glass of rum and away we go was it to take the next passengers to sea...

Great, would do it again anytime, it was worth it, value for money is right. We would book it again. We really enjoyed it.

We have a very good experience with water taxi. Since the weather gods were not kind to us (could not go ahead because of wind) but because this was a birthday present for my husband, someone came to the office at the agreed time to explain what was in store for him, my husband spontaneously decided to take a voucher and make this trip at a later date. Just a pity I paid 20€ more for both of us. Through their site it is 10€ cheaper per person.

Had an unforgettable sea trip. With full sun but still rough seas 2.5 hours on the water towards the wind farm. Impressive to see up close. Definitely recommended.

Today with 14 colleagues a fun and interesting trip to the windmills. Calm sea and only in the end a shower. After the interesting film with the seafox and the walrus accompanied by two excellent skippers on a trip to the wind farm. Was a nice ending to our three-day meeting.

What a fun experience! Warm welcome, interesting docu, the speedboat took us to the giant wind farm! In the open sea, on the spot near the wind farm we got answers to our questions, a drink offered, time to look at everything quietly. We had chosen a summer day with a calm sea... tip in Belgian weather... take into account the wind and splashes of water!

Es ist eigentlich nur eine Bootsfahrt zu den windrädern. Es gibt keine Erklärung vor Ort und man ist mit viel Abstand zu den Windrädern vor Ort. Die Bootsfahrt ist rasant. Kann aber auch Spaß machen

Yesterday we had a great time on the Skyline, it was super nice and it was too nice.. Thanks to Michel (the skipper) for this discovery.. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming.. In any case very nice experience I recommend without hesitation this cruise. We will be back 🥰

Very nice experience. First an expert explanation and then a trip with experienced skippers to the wind turbines. All very friendly people. A tip: even if it is bright sun and blue sky, bring a rain poncho.

After the reception by Michel and an expert explanation about the construction and purpose of the wind farm, we were able to board. We were with 10 passengers so ideal on this boat. On the way to the windmills, Michel regularly comes with the necessary information and gives a very detailed answer to questions. There is sailing up to about a kilometer from the windmills but it is exactly as if one is standing next to it, beautiful just. After a 2.30 hour, this fantastic boat trip ends with a drink. Definitely recommended!!!!

Nice instructive introduction to offshore wind farms. Then sail for an hour. Watching windmills and back. All in all, a nice trip with the feeling of really being at sea.

Michel is an up and top craftsman and above all host, despite the rougher weather, which we experienced as fantastic, it was a beautiful and especially educational trip. From booking to the end of the trip it was one positive experience, highly recommended. Michel has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to share this, every question is answered. As a bonus I saw a seal he gave us time to admire. All in all, a fine, professional and above all fun team to go out with.
