This was a fun and relaxed workshop as we tasted a few Belgium beers and made waffles together. No cooking experience required! I'm glad we did this late in the morning as the beer and waffles were a great brunch!

We had a wonderful time tasting local beers and making our own waffles! The beers and the waffles were delicious. Overall, we had a great time!

Combining two of Ghent’s best - Waffles and Beer - we not only made Belgian waffles from scratch - We tasted 3 Belgian beers and learned the history of each one! Chose which to add to our batter and which to enjoy as we made it and then enjoyed the waffles with a variety of toppings and our beer! Great experience, highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. Luc was so much fun and guided us perfectly to make the perfect waffle! The beers we tasted were also so wonderful! I would highly recommend this experience!

We had more fun than we thought we would doing this experience. Our instructor, Therese, was a joy. The group size was small, making this a fun, intimate experience for those who participated. The adults (us) enjoyed delicious beer and the kids were able to get n/a options. We left with our bellies full and memories to last a lifetime! Highly recommended!

Great fun and a lively atmosphere. Luc our workshop leader was very friendly and informative. By the end of the workshop we had all become friends and stuffed ourselves with waffles and beer. The certificate is an added bonus to take away as well as spare waffles.

Luc was so fun and engaging and very patient. Had tons of knowledge about all the beers and of course how to make waffles.

I was sick and did not go, but my wife and Grand child enjoyed the experience. They had beer to drink and use in their waffles. They had more waffles than they could eat. I was sick and did not even taste them.

What a fabulous evening. There’s beer tasting and then you make Belgium waffles and pick the beer. Incredibly fun. Learned a lot about beer and waffles. So much food!

Excellent setup. Got to taste some lovely and unusual beers then learn to make delicious waffles .. and then eat said waffles! Conveniently located in the heart of everything with a garage right next store for the easy parking. Friendly, knowledgable staff was awesome!

Host Fabio was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Process was smooth - everything prepared and available in advance and waffles were delicious. However, each paying participant should have had their own station to fully enjoy the activity. All in all, an interesting evening but not really worth the price given we were three people to one station.

We had a lot of fun. The beers were ok but the overall experience was good. We had enough batter for four very big waffles.

Super fun class for the family. We had two adults and a 9 year old and we all had a great time. The waffles came out delicious and the process was easy to follow. Instructor was helpful and engaging. We would definitely do this class again and it was a highlight for our time in Ghent.

Was great fun with 8 year old daughter. Could also be a Fun night out with friends. Lots to eat and drink. You will not leave hungry

The class was fun. We were greeted at the entrance by Luc, our chef/instructor, and introduced to the culinary workshop space. We chatted as other attendees arrived. Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We were introduced briefly and appropriately to Ghent and it's history as our pertained to the beer and waffle workshop. The group then sampled three beer from the region. All with a brief introduction and history of the brewery. We also received an overview of the waffles made in Belgium and its regions. The workshop was paced well and nothing seemed to drawn out and we all kept moving at a good speed. The information was a perfect amount. The cooking part was lighthearted and fun. Solid experience. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Luc was great. Other attendees were great. And we walked away with certificates and recipes.

Great recipe and the waffles turned out great and fluffy. The instructor was patient and enthusiastic too.

We came to Ghent for the "We Should Move Here travels" podcast and decided to do this tour. It did not disappoint. The host/guide was entertaining and informative. What a better way to spend the evening drinking some new beers and eating/making some waffles in belgium. Will be mentioned in the podcast.

We had a really good time, very good host and a great activity! Good variety of beers and the waffles were tasty and we have take aways for tomorrow.

This was a fun experience! Teams of 2 people followed instructions to make waffles of the Brussels style. Beer can be added to the mix. There were plenty of waffles to eat. The 3 beers were chosen well. There was a Kriek (cherry), a peach beer, and Gulden Draak (white bottle). My family had a great experience!

This is a great experience for friends and family. I took my two boys who are adults. We really enjoyed a few years and the culture behind them. Making was a lot of fun. Ours turned out delicious. And your host is very accommodating and gracious and I highly recommend this for fun experience to take a break from sexy.

We got to taste five Belgian beers (due to the small class size - they said normally it's three) - really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend attending this! Interesting information about how the beer is made and the two types of waffles - getting to make (and eat! ) waffles was a highlight. We even took home leftovers!

What a fantastic experience to do while here in the beautiful city of Ghent. We had the best experience with our host Thomas and would recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city. An added bonus been that the waffles and beer were delicious. I would definitely come again!

It is a much do on bucket list if you like cooking and even with young children it is a fun thing. It was the presenter first solo class and she did a gratis job of it.

This was a hugely fun thing to do. It started with a beer tasting which is a great icebreaker! Then, we mixed the ingredients, whipped the eggs, and importantly decided which beer to use in the batter. We drank beer while we mixed, while we cooked, and while we ate. The waffles were outstanding as was the beer. I thought this would be fun, but it exceeded my expectations! We are still eating waffles, as we brought leftovers back with us.

Wonderful experience. Thomas, our teacher/host, was exceptional. He shared some wonderful stories and history of the many beers we tasted and was a great and patient teacher in the art of waffle making.
