I’ve had an amazing day with my partner and Joris, the way he translated the beautiful nature and culture of Belgium into a story about his family really made us feel like we understood what makes Belgium an unique country. If one day we’re back, we’ll for sure do your three country tour!

Transport to Walzin Castle
Wander at your own pace along tranquil trails, soaking in the calm and beauty of the landscape. When you're ready, settle in with a warm coffee, accompanied by local biscuits and rich Belgian chocolate—each bite paired with a story. Savor the moment, the flavors, and the gentle rhythm of a slower, more mindful experience.
Transport to Chateau de Veves
Perched atop a rocky outcrop near the town of Celles in Belgium, Château de Vêves is a fairytale sight to behold, even from the outside. With its striking round towers topped by conical roofs and its harmonious blend of medieval architecture, the castle looks like it was plucked straight from a storybook. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, the exterior invites admiration from every angle. Whether you’re passing by or pausing for photos, the silhouette of Château de Vêves against the sky is nothing short of enchanting.
Transport to Dinant – Wallonia’s Hidden Gem of Beauty
Towering 100 meters above the town of Dinant and the shimmering Meuse River, the Citadelle de Dinant is a monumental reminder of the region’s rich and turbulent history. Originally built in the 11th century and later rebuilt in the 19th century, the fortress has guarded the strategic valley for nearly a millennium. From the outside, the citadel dominates the landscape with its imposing stone walls and commanding hilltop position. Visitors can reach it by a steep staircase of over 400 steps or take a scenic ride on the cable car from the town below. Once at the top, breathtaking panoramic views stretch across the rooftops of Dinant, the river, and the rolling Ardennes hills. Inside, the citadel houses a museum that explores its military history, including key episodes from both world wars. Whether you’re drawn by its historical significance, dramatic location, or simply the views, the Citadelle de Dinant is an unmissable stop in this picturesque part of Wallonia.
Belgian Lunch & Monastery Beer Tasting after a Scenic Transport to a Viewpoint Overlooking Château de Freÿr. Take a picturesque ride to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Château de Freÿr, where you can admire the castle’s elegant architecture, formal gardens, and the winding Meuse River from above. This breathtaking panorama captures the essence of the Belgian countryside. Following the viewpoint visit, enjoy a traditional Belgian lunch, featuring regional specialties and warm hospitality. Then, savor a monastery beer tasting experience, where you’ll sample rich, authentic brews crafted by monastic traditions—an iconic part of Belgium’s cultural heritage.
Overlooking the serene Meuse River near Dinant, Château de Freÿr is a jewel of Belgian heritage—often dubbed the “Versailles of Belgium.” This elegant Renaissance castle is known for its graceful architecture, baroque interior décor, and magnificent 17th-century terraced gardens, designed in the French classical style with orange trees, fountains, and symmetrical paths. What makes Château de Freÿr even more captivating is its prestigious list of former guests, which includes: • King Louis XIV of France, who reputedly stayed here during his military campaigns. • The Emperor of Japan, highlighting the château’s ongoing role in international cultural diplomacy. • And even Beyoncé, whose private visit brought a touch of modern glamour to the historic estate.
Maison Leffe is more than just a brewery; it's a testament to the artistry and tradition of Belgian brewing. Situated in the heart of Dinant, Belgium, Maison Leffe stands as a beacon of quality and heritage in the world of beer. The history of Maison Leffe dates back to the 12th century when the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Leffe was founded. Monks brewed beer within the abbey walls, not just as a beverage, but as a means of sustaining themselves and their community. Over the centuries, Leffe beer became renowned not only for its exceptional taste but also for its connection to spirituality and craftsmanship. Today, Maison Leffe continues this legacy, producing a range of iconic Belgian beers that captivate the senses with their depth of flavor and complexity. From the classic Leffe Blonde, with its fruity aroma and subtle bitterness, to the rich and indulgent Leffe Brune, each beer is a testament to the time-honored art of brewing.
As evening falls, we arrive back in Celles, often hailed as the most beautiful village in Wallonia. Nestled in a quiet valley, its stone houses and cobbled lanes exude timeless charm. We enjoy a delicious dinner of typical Belgian cuisine in a cozy local restaurant—comforting dishes full of flavor and tradition. Afterward, we take a peaceful stroll to visit the ancient Romanesque church of Saint-Hadelin, one of the oldest in the region, radiating history and serenity. With the day winding down, we soak in the calm atmosphere, letting the beauty of Celles offer a moment of rest and reflection after a rich and rewarding day.
After an unforgettable day filled with beauty, culture, and indulgence, we begin our comfortable drive back to Brussels—or wherever your journey with us began. Fully fed, deeply fulfilled, and perhaps still savoring the taste of monastery beer or the memory of breathtaking views, you can sit back, relax, and let the landscapes of Wallonia gently pass you by. It’s the perfect moment to unwind, reflect, and carry the magic of the day with you as we return you safely to your original pickup point.

The old church in Celles completely surprised me, so peaceful and full of history. Every stop had some little detail that made it stick. It felt more like discovering than sightseeing. The guide always knew just when to explain and when to let us explore. Nothing felt rehearsed, it was all real and heartfelt. That made all the difference. You could tell this wasn’t just a job to him. Joris really made us feel like part of the story. We left feeling inspired.
Family tour with 3 kids. I would recommend 100%. The kids had fun as well even though normally they're not as enthousiastic! Thanks for the great day Joris!
We had an amazing family trip to Dinant! The tour was perfectly paced, fun for both kids and adults, and packed with interesting stories about the city. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel included. The views along the river were breathtaking, and we left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend for families!
This was our first trip to Belgium and this tour was ideal. Got to see more than just Brussels, understand Belgian history better, and the guide made Dinant come alive. Travel in the luxury car meant we avoided tight schedules. We felt well taken care of. Thanks for the great day team!
Happy kids, happy day. Thanks a lot for the whole day. Dinant is small, but packed with character. Whether you're into history, nature, photography, or just looking for a peaceful escape from the city, Dinant delivers. I wish I had discovered it sooner!
My elderly parents appreciated the private car and comfort, it made the journey smooth and relaxing. The guide was very patient with them, allowed frequent rest stops. Dinant was picturesque, charming, and not too crowded off-season. Very good experience!
Our private tour from Brussels to Dinant was absolutely perfect. From pickup in a spotless, high-end vehicle to exploring charming streets, riverside views, and the citadel. JUST BEAUTIFUL! Every detail was carefully thought-through and for that thank you Joris! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs. Highly recommended!
Our kids had so much fun and stayed engaged the whole time (which never happens!). The guide had snacks, fun facts, and kept the mood light all day. Even grandma was raving about the castles and beer tasting! It’s rare to find a tour that hits for every generation. The kids are still talking about the citadel in Dinant. Thank you for making it easy, fun, and memorable for all of us. Joris knew just how to pace things so everyone stayed happy. It felt like he was part of the family by the end. He’s one of the most considerate guides we’ve ever met.
We were honestly tired and overwhelmed from traveling, but this tour completely reset our energy. The pace was perfect, and the scenery was absolutely jaw-dropping. It felt more like a relaxing day with friends than a tour. The guide made everything easy, from pickup to lunch to photo stops. Nothing was ever too much or too little—just the right vibe all around. Easily one of the highlights of our trip. Even the van ride felt like part of the experience. We could finally just sit back and enjoy. Joris has a gift for making people feel at ease the moment they hop in the super comfy car!
It felt like we were discovering secret corners of the country that no one else knew about. The tour was smooth, scenic, and full of great conversation. We’ll be back for sure to try more hidden gems. The personal touch made all the difference. A five-star experience from start to finish. There wasn’t a single dull moment. Even the transitions between places felt exciting. Joris is the type of guide who makes even the drive feel like an adventure. Thanks as well for all the great music!
The car was super clean and comfortable, and we could just sit back and enjoy the views. The whole vibe was chill, with no stress or waiting around. Just a well-paced day full of beauty and good company. It felt like a road trip with an expert behind the wheel. We didn’t worry about a thing. That’s what a tour should be. Everyone felt looked after but also free to explore. A+ logistics and zero stress. Joris is a true professional who never loses his friendly touch. Good luck with your training, you’re going to ace it Joris!
My partner and I booked this on a whim and it turned into one of our favorite days in Europe. The peaceful stop in Celles was the cherry on top. We left feeling calm, connected and full of good food. The balance between structured stops and personal time was spot-on. We had time to really soak it all in without any pressure. Highly recommended for couples looking for something off the beaten path. Even the car rides were cozy and scenic. The slower pace really let us breathe. Joris has a lovely connecting way of creating magic through simplicity, he gets it just right.
We’ve been to Bruges and Ghent, but this tour felt way more authentic. The villages were quiet, the people kind, and the food was real local fare. We actually learned something about the culture instead of just snapping photos. Every detail—from the scenic drive to the beer tasting—was thoughtful. We didn’t feel like tourists, but more like honored guests. This is the Belgium I’ll remember. You can tell the guide loves what he does. There’s something refreshing about that kind of passion. Joris blends deep knowledge with a super friendly vibe that’s hard to find.
We couldn’t stop staring out the van window—the drive itself was part of the magic. Everything was just easy, from pickup to dinner. We felt completely taken care of the entire time. The castles were unreal—like straight out of a movie. And the guide? Kind, funny and full of stories that made us feel connected to every place we saw. Joris even made sure we had extra water on a warm day, which was such a thoughtful touch. He’s not just a guide—he’s a great host. Joris clearly puts his heart into what he does, and it shows. Thanks from me and the kids!!!!
The whole day was so well thought out, yet never felt rushed. Every stop was peaceful and photogenic—especially the view over Château de Freÿr. We felt like we were traveling with a friend, not a tour guide. The group was small, which made it all feel more intimate and relaxed. I still can’t get over how calm the entire experience was. We’ll be talking about this day for a long time. The atmosphere was light and easy-going from start to finish. Everyone in the group connected instantly. Joris is the kind of guide who makes you feel like you’re part of his story, not just tagging along on one.
Super cool as an activity, I will definitely return
The walk along the river Meuse was another of those moments that are not forgotten: seeing the city reflected in the water, with houses by the river and cliffs in the background, creates a calm and romantic atmosphere. In addition, the combination of history, nature and culture, from its musical heritage to its medieval architecture, makes Dinant a perfect destination to relax and unwind.
