My group chose to pay for a VIP tour. They have you meet in the lobby and then take you into a back room. There your guide gives you snacks and a drink to start your tour. They go over some information on how the tour will proceed. The tour guide was very informative and engaging during the tour. If you choose a VIP tour they take pictures with your phone when you visit the Polar Bear. Or you can purchase their photo options from the booths. The memorabilia ranged from beginning of the Coca Cola empire to current day. It was amazing all of the different things that were contained within. There’s a flavor room where you can taste different flavors of Cola from across the world. When you are on a VIP tour they give you a souvenir cup that you can fill up before you leave. I don’t drink soda myself but, the tea and flavored waters were quite tasty. I wish they had more variety for someone who doesn’t drink soda though, that would have been nice. I really enjoyed seeing the bottles that were designed by the athletes from the 1996 Olympics games. I’m surprised they didn’t allow them to take those back to their homelands with them. They show a video at the beginning of the tour whether you have a VIP or general admission ticket. That video needs to have a precaution on it for motion sickness and seizures as there was far too much movement involved in it. It was almost like a poorly made home movie the way it flashed between people and places. We had several people follow our tour group around and it got a bit crowded at points. Overall it was a good experience and I do recommend that others give it a try. You can learn about the history of Coca Cola, view some nostalgic memorabilia and put your taste buds through flavor town in the tasting room. When you’re done, they have a large assortment of things available in their gift shop. VIP benefits: Polar Bear, front of the line and pictures right on your phone. What a great experience my grandfather work for Coca-Cola in Las Vegas for 40 yrs so it was on my bucket list the guided tour is the only way to go ask for Journey she is like having family telling you the history of this great company
Jeff gave me and my mom and a couple from Mexico a great tour. Jeff was funny and extremely knowledgeable. I only wish the sample room wasn't out of a lot of flavors. I tasted Uganda, Panama and Thailand. I loved Thailand beverage. Loved the Polar Bear and the entire World of Coca Cola.
I had wanted to go to the World of Coca Cola for years and it did not disappoint! Journee, our guide, was wonderful! Knowledgeable, answered all our questions and really made the tour more fun. The museum is huge and so interesting. We spent about two hours there and could have spent longer. It’s well worth the time and money. Go and enjoy—even if you prefer Pepsi, like me!
This was a very informative and interactive attraction about the history of Coca-Cola. We really enjoyed it. We also loved trying all the different sodas from other countries.
The private tour was just OK Allot of marketing ! I think it could be so much better , and if the regular tour is busy it’s hard to hear and get into anything . This could be aooo so good because there is allot of history. The tasting room is pretty coool to do … All kinds of countries flavors to try .
Wonderful VIP tour highly recommend it; you get the highlights that no one else gets then you have time to explore on your own.
The visit to the World of Coca-Cola was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, made even better by having a guide through the building. You can go through on your own, but there are a few tidbits only those on the guided tour can experience. One of them comes around the start of the tour - holding one of the few remnants of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics, the actual torch that was used during the run-up to the lighting of the Olympic Flame that centennial year for the Games. From there, it is one constant surprise after another. Getting to skip the line to meet the Coca-Cola Polar Bear is valuable (the line is long), and some of our guide's anecdotes were excellent. You'll be surprised by the wealth of information that you can pick up from your guide about Coca-Cola's history. If you have a choice, pop for the guided tour. It is well done and worth the extra expense.
It was amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend and will visit again with more friends.
The tour was well worth it. I loved the history, the hands on & that you could take your time to view the whole building.
I was expecting more from the guided tour.
Was here sooo long ago and remember it was good then but it's even better now ! Lots of history, photo opts and a great area to test your sense of smell. Vintage ads and merchandise really brought back memories ...and then you get to taste all the various products, including those they no longer produce. Many hands-on exhibits too ...fun for the whole family. They do a great job of moving crowd through the various areas and the gift shop was full of fun Coke stuff.
Tons of Information and Display of the Coca Cola history. Don‘t miss the possibility to take the special kind of photos and try the different tastes!
It’s lots of fun but can be crowded at times. We enjoyed seeing the museum with our guide, Jeff. Interesting history and we enjoyed the tasting area. The gift shop was as great too!
Was not sure what to expect, but we had CityPASS and decided to check it out. More informative than I would have thought, but also very crowded. You can try multiple kinds of coke, but be prepared for crowds. Interactive parts did entertain our 6 year old, and he liked trying the different formulas.
Was amazing got to do some extra things in the back room got to hold the 96 Olympic torch and get some inside facts !(:
Our visit would have received five stars had we not experienced the shocking behavior of being abandoned mid-tour by our host. The tour started well enough, with a little behind the scenes info and a free drink, and though parts of it felt a little rushed, the host was pretty good until we got to the Vault. Here, while we were still taking photos, the host abandoned my husband and myself. She, along with the other two people on the tour, left the Vault without so much as indicating to my husband and I that it was time to move on. We had only been in the Vault area for a few minutes and were taking pictures, when we noticed that she and the other two guests had left and so we rushed behind them, expecting at least the host to be waiting outside the vault for us - I would expect this even out of courtesy given that she didn’t even so much as say come on guys, it’s time to move on! To our shock, she was not waiting for us and she had moved on and we had to go into various spaces to look for her in order to continue our tour - we even spoke to another host who also tried to communicate with her to no avail. It took us more than 5 minutes and rushing through various spaces asking if our host with the other two guests had come through but we had no luck. We finally tracked her down at the polar bear photo spot - and - once we got to her - she feigned no interest that we had found her and despite me telling her that she just left us in the Vault without saying it’s time to go, there was not so much as a word of apology from her for abandoning us but rather an attitude of - if you can’t keep up that’s not my problem. To say that this kind of behavior is rude is an understatement- we paid for this guided tour and the least we expected is some courtesy from the host. A little heads up would have gone a long way. Having visited over 80 countries, this guided tour was not our first rodeo - we do know that you have to keep up with the group however - this host did not even so much as beckon to us that time was up in the vault - she simply chose to move on with the other 2 people in the group, pretty much abandoning us. For a world class organization like The Coca-Cola Company, I expected a lot better and more courtesy from their hosts who should be used to dealing with diverse groups of people. It would be understandable if we had been part of a large group - but there were only 4 of us. Myself, my husband, and another 2 guests- so our absence was very, very noticeable. The Good: would be a free drink, the VIP photo opportunity with the Polar Bear and a free tasting cup in the tasting room, as well as some interesting factoids about the drinks in the tasting lab and the recipe in the Vault. Perhaps the only things that gave this experience a 3 star rating. The Bad: the host we ended up with. Her behavior really left a sour taste and it is my sincere hope that she never treats another guest in that manner, because the experience is worthy of five stars which led us to leaving feeling disappointed and short changed.
The visit to the Coca-Cola museum was an unforgettable adventure. Both the history and the sampling of more than one hundred different flavors were fantastic.
Great staff and guide. Learned the great history of the coca cola brands and also seeing all the advertising signs and stuff was pretty cool.
My daughter and I really enjoyed this small group semi private tour. We had the chance to take photos and learn a lot about the World of Coca-Cola.
This was a lot of fun. Very interactive experience. We learned a lot of facts from our excellent tour guide. I would highly recommend this experience.
Lotta fun, really creative exhibits, highly interactive, engaging for all ages! Great excursion for tourists and locals alike. I took my 15-year-old daughter who went in eighth grade. I gave her the choice of doing just about anything in Atlanta that afternoon and she wanted to go back to the world of Coca-Cola! I had never been, but I have always been a Coca-Cola drinker since childhood – never Pepsi! Lol So off we went and it was a lot of fun. We did the tour with a guide and she was fantastic – always audible above the din of the bustling, loud surrounding crowd, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. I probably wouldn't go back next week, but I would go back in a year to see what's new, and I would definitely bring out-of-town guests. In classic theme park style, they funnel everyone through their store in order to exit, so that probably cost me as much if not more than the two tickets! Lol so, parents beware there's a lot of eye candy in there, both for you and for your kids! Tons of nostalgia, fascinating interactive exhibits, a Disney/Dollywood type of experience, a wonderful unlimited tasting experience, and great for all ages. Recommend.
Guided tour and skip the line when it’s busy! Guide took really great care of us and was very knowledgeable!
I always book my tours through Viator and I have never been disappointed- until now. I booked and paid for the VIP tour thinking we would have a private and personalised tour. There was no clear instructions on where to go for the VIP tour which caused confusion. When we finally got to the destination, we were jammed in with the general public for the 1st part of the tour. We had a staff member as our private guide who rushed us around the complex with no time to stop and view exhibits. I heard other people in the group say they felt rushed. The guide failed to take us to the vault along with a couple of other areas. She then finished at the taste testing area and told us to feel free to view the complex at our own leisure. The tour took no more than 35mins before we were left on our own. The only benefit to paying the additional cost for a VIP tour, was skipping the queue for a photo with the polar bear, however, you still have to pay for the photo. To be honest, I would save your money and just pay the general admission price and tour the complex at your own pace. This was a huge disappointment and I would not be recommending this Viator tour.
We really enjoyed our time at the World of Coke. So glad that we went on the guided tour as there was so much to see. The tour was very informative and interesting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable . She made us feel special.
So worth it .. awesome experience.. great hosts and got extra goodies too.. got to skip the lines and had a personal guide tell Us about everything.. highly recommend the tour
First of all, show up at the beginning of the “window of time” they give you! Mine said 9:45-10 and when I got there at 9:52, I had to be taken by a worker up to meet my group! Our guide, Robin, was great and knowledgeable. A little difficult to understand with the mask, but I got more used to it as the tour went on. Loved the history. Learned that our Santa Claus’s red and white outfit is due to an artist at Coca-Cola that painted him that way back in 1931! Who knew? Fun tour and loved the private photo time w the bear and all the tastings at the end!
Great place, really enjoyed ourselves. Made you feel really welcome and kept you informed. Really interesting seeing / reading the history about Coca Cola with some interactive displays and photo opportunities. Especially liked the AI pictures.
Do not go here unless you want to spend the money on seeing an advertisement, try different tastes of coke, and go shopping. It was nothing but a big adversiment. A total waste of time and money.
When we arrived the staff was not prepared for the VIP tour They did not have the tour guide meet us until after the other main tour was already underway. Which made for very crowded exhibits. For example, we were not led into the movie until it was halfway through. The exhibit room was overly crowded and only had 2 minutes to quickly look around. I think that I would have enjoyed the experience if we would have gotten the experience that we paid for
The tour guide seemed really disengaged and like she just wanted to get through the tour. It was an ok tour
The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta offers a mix of history, interactive exhibits, and unique experiences. We explored the story of Coca-Cola, tasted several beverages from around the world, (a must try is the Beverly from Italy) and even saw the vault where the secret formula is kept. Our personal guide was amazing and offered us behind the scene exhibits not afforded to people who opt for self-guided tour. We skipped the line at every turn and took an abundance of pics of the whole family. Highly recommended!
Alot of things have changed since i went. There was no 4d movie like last time. If i remember correctly we were supposed to take home a vintage coke free of charge but no.
The guided tour was soooooo worth it! I ended up being the only one so it was personal, Shen the guide was great! I got a “back stage” tour and held an Olympic torch!
Guide never showed up, we waited for 35 minutes. Horrible experience, we paid close to $200 and ended up having to purchase tickets t get in because our guide never showed up. I chatted with this company and called.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Absolutely loved the tour at the beginning. Gave us lots of interesting facts about how Coca Cola started. The best part of the tour was the tasting at the end. We could have spent hours in there. Brilliant experience.
The whole experience was a lot of fun . Loved the Olympic torch , saw a lot of fun things . Tasted coke from all over the world
super interactive and fun, over 100 different soda's, learned new facts, amazing views and also enthusiastic tour guide
Surprisingly interesting. Learned about colas, the history and marketing of coke, etc. Good interactive exhibits for kids and big kids. The drink we put together looked good on paper, but tasted horrible. The cherry on top was trying all the different brands by country, and our on concoction.
It was not a guided tour for me - my ticket was. I was told by some woman at the meet point (at the start ) to join the bigger group. There was a group indeed but was told to head and follow the crowd. I must get refunded. Also the chat service with the organisers did not respond to my communications.
My tour guide did her best. But I felt rather rushed. There was plenty of rooms where it was stated "go there after you finish this tour." We basically did the same thing anyone with self-guided admission will do. I stress to do that instead, nothing VIP about this.
Enjoyed it all- especially tasting the various Cokes from around the world !! The taste private tour saved on the wait !!! Loved the surprises along the way
We liked getting to see the exhibits faster since we purchased the vip tour. Would recommend to others.
Buying tickets in advance online and getting an Uber ride here makes for an easy entrance at the scheduled time. The introduction by a staff member about all the memorabilia was a great way to begin. The short movie that followed was a feel good story. Once entering the exhibits we found that it really doesn't matter in what order you see them. They were all outstanding. There is much history presented about different beverages and the company itself. The tasting area provided a chance to sample drinks from around the world that we had never heard of.
Turned out to be a really fun tour. The history of Coca-Cola and Atlanta was fascinating. The facility was very modern and the displays were self explanatory. Having a tour guide saved us a lot of wandering around and drew attention to the significant historical facts that we for sure would have missed. When we had our picture taken with the Polar Bear the guide took duplicate pictures so we didn’t need to select them later on. The international tasting area allowed us to taste Coca-Cola products from around the world.
The guide never received us, he never saw how we were paid, we had to do everything alone. They didn't give us the photo with the bear for which they paid
So happy we did the tour. I’m sure we didn’t have to but it was great hearing first hand from some one in the know. Well done Robyn!!!
Our visit to the World of Coke was delightful overall. The museum offers an extensive array of Coca-Cola memorabilia and history, which was fascinating to explore. We especially enjoyed the Taste It! exhibit, where we could sample various Coke products from around the world—a highlight for any Coke enthusiast. However, our experience in the movie theater was slightly marred by a broken chair, which detracted from our enjoyment. Additionally, there was a minor issue at the soda fountain where sparkling water was inadvertently dispensed instead of regular water. Despite these small hiccups, the World of Coke provided an enriching and enjoyable experience that we highly recommend.
We had a super fun time exploring the history of Coca-cola! Our tour guide was helpful and fun! Best part was trying all the different types of sodas around the world!
Rushed experience, no togetherness with the tour just not a great experience to be at a such historical place tour just abruptly ends and your just left standing with a cup.
