Anissa, our guide was super knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. We all loved the tour with her.

Reviews
The tour was so cool, and the props set it over the top! Seeing my child with a cross bow and my friend with an over shoulder RPG was fantastic! I even got a turn or two with Lucille. The tour guide was very knowledge and helpful and her fiance was helpful too. They were gracious to us and the other guests even offering cold waters.
Anisa was excellent with the Walking Dead backlot private tour, so enthusiastic, thorough, and patient with my wife and my many questions. Senoia Rick was Amazing on the 2 hour walking tour of Alexandria, the Commonwealth, and Woodbury. Senoia Rick was personable, patient, and really had us believing we were touring with the real Rick from TWD!!
This tour is almost entirely of season 3, specifically where the scenes with the governor take place. If you book through viator make sure to call ahead as when we got there the tour guide informed us they do not get notified of bookings through this website. When arriving the meeting place of the Cherokee rose storefront next to the taco place. The tour guide is very informed and very enthusiastic. Our tour guide was even nice enough to drop us off in Senoia so we could walk around where the Alexandria scenes were filmed.
Cool experience. Guide had pictures from the show when they shot on location and all the show details.
Anissa was our tour guide. She is the owner of Dale’s rv. She was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. As we walked and held our weapons, she showed us photos from the show and took us exactly where the photos matched the filming. She then let us take all the pictures we wanted and even gave us suggestions on where to stand in the spots where the show was filmed. She told us other places to visit as well.
We had a great time! Loved how excited and knowledgeable the tour guide was. Lots of opportunities to recreate moments from the show with photos, and this was encouraged. We got lost on the way, and they were so patient with us.
We had a good experience. Very knowledgeable staff.
Unfortunately the kind soul who ran and loved the tour was laid to rest on Saturday Feb 21 2026 and we were unable to attend. May she rest in peace. The individual who now owns is going to remove future advertising.
We loved this tour! Brought my kids and it was so fun! We got to pick out fake weapons to bring along the tour (pretending that we were a part of the Walking Dead). They took our pictures and were so nice. I would definitely recommend!
The tour was more than we expected. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, & humorous. She not only suggested great photo opportunities, she waited for everyone in our group to frame the perfect photo. Her TWD knowledge was second to none and her behind the scenes anecdotes were entertaining. If you are a fan of the Walking Dead, this tour is for you. The replica weapons are a great bonus.
The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this tour. You get to see where everything happened in Twd.
Great fun for Walking Dead megafans, this is an exciting and intimate experience that our of town guests will love. Our guide Pam was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, a true pro with that genuine Georgia hospitality. Watch season 3, episodes 13 and 15 beforehand for the best experience.
It was nice to see actual scenes from the show. Our tour guide was accommodating of tardiness and extremely knowledgeable on the show. Wear closed toe comfortable shoes.
Pam just simply gives an incredible tour with her knowledge, experience and passion. IF you are a TWD fan you have to take this great tour.
I saw what I wanted to, but it was a very odd experience. You walk in to an old thrift store with an armory and it’s about 1-2 acre plot. You get a weapon and it is encouraged to react the scenes which was also a little awkward, I think it was because there was only one other person there beside me and my SO. It almost seemed like we were pressured to take certain pictures/poses which personally wasn’t my thing. You also had to walk in unkept grass/weeds, which I mistakenly wore sandals for. But you definitely get an in-depth tour and they show you the scenes and pictures from the show that correspond to where you are.
Our tour guide Pam, was amazing, very knowledgeable and nice!! The experience was well worth the trip, kinda quaint. Best for the price!!!
It was a bortsurprise for my fiancé and it was awesome. The looks on his face and the smiles made my day. The tour guide was very good.
This tour was amazing would highly recommend. Pam our tour guide was amazing and told us many stories about the cast of twd. Was definitely worth the money
This tour was so much fun for our family! My husband and I are big Walking Dead fans and our 12 year old son is starting to get into it. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very witty with her storytelling. We had an amazing time!! Thanks for a great experience!!
Pam knew anything and everything Walking Dead. She also met some of the actors! It was also nice that they were able to do the tour on Easter which worked well with our group.
We really enjoyed the tour. The gift shop could have had more things. We really appreciated the videos to help us remember the scenes, that is something that other tours should do.
It was fun to see the location of where some of the scenes were filmed, but the tour was just okay. We could have done most of it without the tour guide. We wouldn’t go on it again and think it was worth maybe $25 and not $50.
Tour guide was awesome!!! She was very knowledgeable and told interesting stories about the cast and show!
Pam was amazing! We took our 12 year old grandson and he loved the entire tour. We experienced the actual scenes filmed with vivid descriptions, footage from the series, and then reenacted them with our chosen weapons. Pam answered all our questions about the actors, scenes, local history, and even guided us where to go to see more after our tour. Pam also coached us to get the best photos from our experience. Book this tour- you won’t regret it!
Easy walking tour of the back lot studio. Pam, our guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable. While standing in key location, she would show us the clip from the show......like being there.
Pam was an amazing tour guide. She went through each scene filmed at this location and showed it on her IPad. She was very knowledgeable about set, the scenes in the episodes and the actors and their characters. Highly recommend
We had a great time. Pam, our guide was very informative and a lot of fun. Unlimited photo opportunities. We would do it again with cooler weather. 😀
Pam, our tour guide, was amazing! She did a great job giving us background on the Walking Dead Filming and had fun stories about the characters and actors. I really enjoyed myself and my college aged daughter, not a fan of the show, was very entertained by seeing her mom have so much fun. This is a must do, even if never watched or haven’t watched the show in years.
Great tour guide. We had fun seeing the filming locations from season 3 then stopped at Nic and Norman’s for lunch.
We took our son for his birthday and let me tell you this experience did not disappoint! Our guide was absolutely amazing…she had personal stories about actors, knew the show well, and was extremely friendly not to mention funny!
My grandkids enjoyed this so much my grandson is a big walking dead fan. He would set and watch it when he was 2 years old and still is a big fan. He had no clue that we were going on this tour until we got there he was so excited.
Pam was excellent story telling of alot of facts I never knew about till the tour. She has alot of hard core facts but will make you laugh telling them. Had a lot of fun on this tour if you miss it you lose. So go and experience the best tour about the walking Dead with the weapons it is the best.
I’m not exactly a fan of the show. I’ve seen a few episodes, but no matter. The tour is a delightful experience. Pam, our tour guide, was a pure gem - dropping accounts of the Walking Dead scenes peppered with her accounts of growing up in this town. We started the tour by selecting our plastic facsimile of a weapon from the series. I chose a long saber in a sheath (can’t remember the character’s name who used it). Sounds maybe cheesy - but it wasn’t tacky at all. The weapons made for really fun still and video mementos. With Pam’s coaching we were able to recreate scenes from the series. Way fun. So thanks to a lovely day and a delightful tour guide, I am going to stream all the shows we recreated.
Said they were open on trip advisor and the website, but when we got there it was closed. We did drive around around and went back to Senoia, there off Main Street we saw a store that said “walking dead museum and store” so we went there and they had a nice gift store and movie props! Awesome find. You can buy a map for $10 that will point out different things around town, but we just drove and walked around and found a few things on our own. That was pretty cool. We ate and Nic and Normans (Darryl’s restaurant)- it was very good!
It was really neat to see you the tour guide was very knowledgeable and even told us about a few other places we should check out the kids and I had a hood time
Pam is so knowledgeable with the show. She was very interactive having you recreate the scenes. She goes above a beyond!
Miss Pam is a great tour guide. Not only is she super knowledgeable of the walking dead, she is also a local with a lot of knowledge prior to walking dead. Me and my mother took an Uber to the location, if you do this be aware there is no way back to town. However, miss Pam saved the day and actually gave us a ride back into town! That to me is above and beyond good service. Overall this was a great tour, and got us out of downtown Atlanta. Thank you for great memories Miss Pam.
This was a fantastic walking tour of several key scenes filmed for The Walking Dead. Our tour guide (Pam) was excellent, very knowledgeable, had an incredible working knowledge of the intrici's of the the filming process and personally knows many of the actors featured on the series. Cannot recommend this tour enough! This is a must do walking tour!!
Pam (our tour guide) was amazing! Lots of photo opportunities and everything was well explained! Lots of back stories from The Walking Dead!
Such a great tour. Highly recommend. My son and I had such a good time. Our tour guide was amazing. Showed us all the scenes in that area.
I had a great time! The sun came out. We had a small group! Our guide was very informative and had great stories about the cast and when they filmed there. You really feel the essence of the walking dead world! Loved it, and it’s close by to Alexandria (Woodbury) which is worth a visit too!
This was great and would definitely do it again. We also bought the book they were selling and went to several locations where they shot the movie which was a ton of fun!
It was so exciting to see those places where Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and all those TWD actors were making their magic. The tour guide was so kind and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!
Well what can I say but best time ever. Our tour guide only had our group so our time was personal and engaging. This made us feel like we were apart of the field sets of Season 3. If you can please do this tour.
Excellent tour guide. Very fun history of the show. The town of Alexandria is also very close. Well worth the time.
If you are a true fan of the Walking Dead then you will appreciate the location. You get to see the buildings that were part of the scene.
This tour was awesome from start to finish. First we each picked out a weapon from the gift shop for picture taking along the way and fight off Walkers. It all happens in one large block of an abandoned cotton gin, complete with roads, barns, silos, meeting sites specific to Season 3. The tour guide sets up each scene and shoes footage of the action and still shots. Then you have an opportunity to reenact it. I'm 69 years old and had the time of my life when I yelled action from behind bricks as my friend began videoing me running between silos swinging Michonne's sword and fighting of Walkers (imaginary of course). Be sure to eat at Nic and Norm's just down the road in Sanoia.
Great opportunity to see the location of filming, mostly limited to season 3. Great photo opportunities with props.
When we had the chance to reenact scenes the instructor was very knowledgeable on everything also provided a warm smile and comfort
