Tybee Island Sunset Tiki Cruise

It was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating; the scenery was outstanding; it was well worth the money.

We had a great time! Our captain and first mate were super friendly and made it an enjoyable sunset cruise with a great music collection. We got the chance to see dozens of dolphins, and he made sure to hang around where they were most active for a good bit so we could get plenty of photos and videos.

Rob and Sam were absolutely fantastic! We saw dolphins every time we turned around. Was a spectacular ending to our trip to Tybee.

The tour was amazing! The water out at sea was too rough with the weather so we toured the marshes instead. Very relaxing and still saw plenty of wildlife. Our captain (Richard maybe?) and MK were absolutely amazing! Super friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend!

This Tiki sunset cruise was supposed to be the highlight of the last night of our vacation. Ten minutes from the dock and alarm sounded and when the engine stopped, we were adrift. The captain managed to get it started and back to the dock we went. As promised, we received a full refund. Given the age of the vessel, a problem isn’t surprising. Be aware that this is not a luxury cruise--the seats are wood benches. Parking is shared with Bubba Gumbos restaurant/bar and the marina, so it could be difficult to get a spot. While drinks on the cruise are not provided, you could get drinks to go from the bar. There are restrooms in the restaurant and also on board, and benches in the shade while you wait. Our October one-hour tour left at 5:30, sunset that day was at 7:00.

We had rain for our cruise. The team was very clear about our safety being the top priority. We were able to go out, but took a different route because of the water conditions. Rob & Jake made sure to keep the party going and made sure the rain didn't dampen our experience.

Had a great boat cruise. Captain Craig and first mate Jackson were great. Captain Craig knew a lot of history about the island. It was a sunset, cruise, but we saw more dolphins than the sun shutting! Great trip… highly recommend. ⚓️

Was absolutely amazing! So much fun! We saw dolphins immediately and were able to bring drinks aboard too. Loved they had a bathroom as well. We got lost and were a bit late but they were so nice and waited for us! Yay! Captain Rob and Sam were super cool and very chill. Made for a wonderfully relaxing sunset cruise. Would go again for sure.

Captain Rob and Scott were amazing tour guides. Even with the choppy waves, they still made the tour memorable and enjoyable! Definitely would recommend and fyi, there’s a restroom on board for those whose wondering about that 🙂

Great experience from start to finish. We arrived a few min late for our first booking and they let us reschedule to another available day. We seen so many dolphins out playing in the water. It was great.

Captain was very friendly and fun. Most importantly he was very knowledgeable. The winds were high and the normal route had very turbulent water. He made the right decision and took us a different way. Missed out on some dolphins but still was an amazing location and sunset

We had a bachelorette trip and went on the sunset cruise for our last night and it was a great time!! Highly recommend! We brought our own drinks and snack, it was perfect!

We booked this for our anniversary & they cancelled at the last minute. We were very didappointed & should have been notified early inthe day so we could have made other plans in Savannah harbor. Very poor business practice.

Craig and Jake were great - lots of experience with the area, friendly and fun. Beautiful sunset and LOTs of playful dolphins everywhere. Definitely recommend this sunset river cruise.

Outstanding! The sunset cruise was the highlight of our trip. Spectacular sunset views, dozens of dolphins swimming and jumping in calm warm waters of the bay. Make sure to bring your own beverage(s) of choice (Bubba Gumbos bar does take away cups)- the boat is bare bones but very comfortable. And the sunset soundtrack and dancing by the crew are perfect for the setting. Definitely recommend!

This was a relaxing, fun trip. Saw lots of dolphins, a lighthouse up close and a beautiful sunset. Captain Rob and MK were great at making sure everyone was having a good time!

We had an amazing sunset tour! Couldn't have worked out to be a better night for it. Rain earlier but the clouds moved away and the sun shined brightly with lots of colors filling the sky. We got to see so many dolphins all playing around. Music was great and even had a couple get engaged in front of the sun setting behind the lighthouse. Definitely would recommend and will return another time! Thanks for a memorable evening!

We went on this tour in August of 2026 with Captain Rob and Matt. It was a wonderful time. Very relaxing, great views of the surrounding area, nice tunes, a beautiful sunset and we were fortunate enough to see some dolphins!! It is bring your own beer and food, and it lasts about 2 hours. Highly recommend for a relaxing night on the water. - Adam

We had a great sunset cruise with Rob and Sam. They were knowledgeable and courteous throughout the trip. Experience is as described, nothing fancy. Directions to check in and meet were as described. However, to not be packed into a boat like the others we saw, this was well worth it. Seeing dolphins was a highlight.

We had such a fantastic time cruising around watching dolphins play and the stunning sun set! Our party of 6 all had a blast while celebrating my mom's 75th. The sunset playlist curated by the Captain and Sam was right on point and an extra fun touch to a perfect evening . We'll be back !

We had a fabulous time!!! I would recommend this sunset tiki boat cruise to anyone and everyone! I went with a group of 10 family members including myself. Our group ranged from age 17-70 and every single one of them said they enjoyed it and we’re so happy we did it. The sunset was gorgeous. The dolphins put on a show for us. The music was the perfect vibe. Captain Rob and Jake were on point with everything. They were entertaining and engaging. I would take this cruise again today if I could. I already promised my youngest we’ll rent the jet skis next year when he’s 18 & old enough to drive one so we’ll definitely be back. I would love to do the other tours offered by Tybee Water Sports too and hope to do even more next summer. Also, you have to watch Tybee Island Watersports on TikTok. They’re so entertaining!

The Highlight of Our Tybee Island Trip—An Unforgettable Sunset Tiki Cruise! Our Tybee Island Sunset Tiki Cruise was absolutely fantastic! I went with my husband, father, stepmother, and our dog, Max, who had just as much fun as the rest of us! It was wonderful to find a pet-friendly cruise where Max could relax, enjoy the breeze, and be part of such a special family memory. Unfortunately, I can't remember our captain's name, but he was outstanding. He was friendly, laid-back, and played the perfect music to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere. He never rushed anyone, making sure every group had plenty of time to take photos before moving on. It was clear he genuinely wanted everyone to have a memorable evening. The cruise was the highlight of our trip—my father even said it was his favorite part of visiting Tybee Island! Watching the beautiful sunset over the water while spending time with family (and Max!) made for an unforgettable experience. One helpful tip: it can be a little confusing to find the departure location. It looks like you're simply arriving at Bubba Gumbo's restaurant and parking lot, but if you walk straight past the restaurant's front entrance, you'll find the marina directly behind it. If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic way to spend an evening on Tybee Island, I can't recommend this sunset tiki cruise enough. Beautiful views, a wonderful captain, great music, a pet-friendly atmosphere, and memories that will last a lifetime. We'll definitely be back!

WOW! What an AWESOME way to celebrate our 24th Anniversary! Captain Craig and First Mate Sam were AWESOME guides. Made us all feel right at home, knowledgeable about the marine life, history of the area and first and foremost just great people to be around. You can tell they love what they do! Beautiful scenery/sunset and LOTS of wildlife, dolphins, turtles & birds. First Mate Sam was a great DJ and keeping us all entertained and enjoying the laid bac vibe. Nice to hear some Maoli, Three Plus and Fiji!! Highly recommend this sunset trip! Great way to end the day and Thanks for making our special day that much better!

Awesome Experience, a memory made for life

This was a fabulous time for three couples traveling together!! The captain was engaging , fun and informative! It was a party/dolphin sighting atmosphere. Best music ever!! We saw so many dolphins, some with pups and some mating. The captain did say it was unusual to see that many but so lucky that we did. The music is a blend of 80s. We even requested a song or two and he obliged. Mingling with other guests is encouraged. You can bring your own drinks on board in a small cooler. What fun! The sunset and timing is outstanding!

Me and my family enjoyed our tour. We seen a good view of a lot of dolphins & got good pictures. The tour guiders were very friendly and the ride was relaxing.

Had the best experience with Tybee Island Water Sports. Captain Craig went above and beyond to make our girls 16th Birthdays something they will never forget! Shoutout to Sam, MK, and Captain Ron as well for making the experience extra special. 🩷 #spicycookie
