Two Hour Coastal Sailing Cruise

Tyler was great! Good music, blankets when it got colder, stories about what we were seeing, and smooth sailing.

I’m sad how our experience went. We came over 1000 miles to do this! We’ve been planning for over a year for a sister trip for my sisters 50th birthday. First We get there & there is a whole parking lot of construction , it’s tore up. There are no signs, the owners didn’t contact us. We had no guidance or direction. Tried to call, finally got a response from a text in the app. They were nice people. The boat ride was beautiful but they didn’t go above and beyond just basic took us in the water and brought us back. I paid $300 for a sail boat cruise for my sister 50th birthday & it was just okay. They even commented on another boat and how they were giving them facts about where we were and the history … that would have been nice!! Then when we leave , our uber was late. It was just my sister & I in a parking lot of construction workers. The owners drove by and waived… didn’t ask if we needed help or if we were okay. That’s not about going above and beyond, that is just being human to check on someone. So we stood for 30 minutes alone on the side of the road because the construction workers made us leave the parking lot. It was just a very sad experience over all. Very disappointed.

Amazing in October! Beautiful, calm evening sunset cruise. There are chairs to sit in or comfortable beanbag chairs. Unobstructed views.

Captain Tyler is extremely friendly and our experience was very relaxing! Would recommend for a non-crowded boat experience!

I just love being on the water, so of course this was the perfect excursion to book. We sailed out of Wilmington Island. The views were beautiful. The waters were soothing and peaceful. We got to hear some sailing stories and Tybee/Wilmington/Savannah history. And I met some nice people, including our captain. We even got to see a dolphin. There’s just something about being on a boat or on the water that’s so refreshing. It’s exactly the reset I needed during my birthday celebration. I have no notes. 10/10 would recommend.

This is well worth it. Tyler is awesome. Lots of knowledge and experience. So cool to see this side of the area.

Gorgeous morning sail, perfect way to end our girls weekend in Savannah. Tyler was a fantastic host and captain, super responsive to our messages and questions beforehand and accommodating as soon as we arrived. We saw a dolphin, cranes, and plenty of other birds from the deck of the boat.

Tyler was so friendly and nice. Beautiful sunset and very clean boat with comfy bean bags to sit on.

We had an absolutely beautiful time on this tour. Travis was fun, full of great stories, and took us on an unforgettable cruise. Since we’re landlocked in Nebraska, getting out on the water and watching life swimming and flying around us was truly the best. Shipmate Max was the ultimate gentleman — always checking in, offering a hand when needed, and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. We highly recommend this experience! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing cruise (like we were) or a lively party cruise for others, they take care of it all.

The sunset cruise is beautiful. Capt. Tyler is a wonderful host. We didn't get to see dolphins, unfortunately. But the cruise was a delightful experience.

A little late in posting this, but we went out with Shore Thing Charters on April 15, and it was one of our favorite experiences from our time in Savannah. Captain Tyler was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful, and genuinely great to talk to throughout the sail. The views out on the water were beautiful, and since we were the only couple booked that day, it felt almost like a private sail. We got very lucky, and it made an already relaxing experience feel especially intimate and memorable. Such a great way to slow down for a couple of hours and see another side of Savannah. Tyler made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible sailing charter! From the moment we stepped aboard, everything was perfect. We had an amazing captain who was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience feel effortless and relaxing. The weather was beautiful, the scenery was breathtaking, and having the privacy of our own charter made it feel truly special. There’s nothing like being out on the water, surrounded by gorgeous views, with no crowds or distractions. It was touch and go with heavy rain until the sun miraculously appeared in time for our relaxing two hour ride. Thought we’d venture further and see a bit more but it was still a great introduction to the area from the water for my visiting son and daughter in law.

Enjoyable evening out on the water! Tyler was great. I was worried it’d rain and he answered my call and any questions I had. We ended up having great weather!

Lovely 2 hour cruise. Hung on bean bags and sipped cocktails that we brought with us. Would do it again. Great captain who was vigilant about the weather etc.

We loved this experience, Captain Tyler is so kind and warm, he’s a skilled sailor and this experience really is a special one! It made our trip seeing the beautiful sounds and low country coastline, but the cherry on top was having dolphins come swim with our boat! We will definitely do this excursion again and could recommend it to anyone.

Captain Tyler was very nice, very accommodating, and took the time to inform about location but also gave space for alone time. Because there were cancellations because of possibility of storms, we were the only ones on the catamaran….he offered us choices to do things. We would highly recommend him and would do this again.

Capt. Tyler and Lauren made our entire 46th anniversary experience one of the most pleasurable and memorable we’ve ever enjoyed. Everything about the planning and sunset voyage was absolutely exceptional… what a Joy to share a remarkable sailing experience with such marvelous people, whom we’re now blessed to call friends.

We had a great experience. It was pleasant and laid back. Captain Tyler was hospitable and the boat was large and accommodating. I just had foot surgery and the boat was very stable and smooth to navigate. It was enriched by Captain Tyler’s fun disposition and sharing of island lore. The dolphins were very cool.

We had so much fun on our boat ride! Tyler was awesome and is a great guy. It is BYOB, but he also provided cold water, folding chairs and a place to put dry items. Since we ended up being the only ones on the boat, we even got to pick out our own music for the ride. We live in Colorado, but next time we come back we will 100% book this again. It was relaxing and one of the highlights of our trip! Next time we would book for even longer than 2 hours (if it’s offered!). Thanks again, Tyler!

This is a must do!! We had so much fun and Tyler is amazing. Such a nice and accommodating boat captain. We were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves and it was such a relaxing sail even with the threat of thunderstorms. Great for a date or either the entire family. Don’t miss out on a bucket list experience at a very affordable price.

Time of sailing was adjusted to accommodate the sun setting. Very friendly and knowledgeable and gave local history. Excellent boating experience and saw dolphins too!

This was the best time we had on our vacation. The small group atmosphere is wonderful. Tyler had great music playing as we cruised the area and watched a beautiful sunset. We saw dolphins which was amazing. We will book a cruise with Tyler every time we visit! Well worth it!

Tyler and his family were great! It was a peaceful,relaxing 2 hours. We did the sail at sunset and it was so beautiful. There were 6 people total on the excursion. I highly recommend!

Captain Tyler was a fantastic guide and very accommodating. The boat was wonderful and had all the amenities. Don’t miss the opportunity to get out on the water while in Savannah, and the marina is only minutes from downtown.

We had the most amazing experience today on our annual sister’s trip to Savannah. Captain Tyler was so personable and made us feel comfortable from the get go! The two hour trip was an amazing experience and wish we had one hour more! The dolphins had finally appeared and Captain Tyler turned the boat around so we could get a closer look! If you do not book this experience on your trip to Savannah you are missing out!!

Captain Tyler and crew were amazing, friendly and professional. Communication was great regarding sailing time, where to park and what to bring. First time on a Trimaran - smooth sailing for sure. Took the Sunset cruise, weather was great and we had a beautiful view of the setting sun. Definitely something we will do again on our next trip to Savannah.

Tyler was a great captain, full of information and fun stories and made the experience so enjoyable even though the weather was not the most ideal with clouds, a little rain, and wind! Even saw a dolphin and bald eagle!!
