Julio was absolutely the best tour guide ever. My 13 year old daughter is obsessed with TWD & I was interested in the tour as well, although maybe not as much as she. This was our 1st trip to Atlanta. Julio picked us up in his personal vehicle & we were pleased to find out that we were on a private tour. He was extremely personable, had videos, etc. to remind us of the places in the show, was extremely happy to stop and get out of the car & take photos. He literally took us everywhere we could think of that TWD was filmed. What impressed me most though was his ability to listen & answer my many questions about the area & it’s history that had nothing to do with the show. He even went out of his way to drive us past several things that were of my interest & not related to the show. His life story & profession alone are a great story, not to mention his knowledge of TWD & the city of ATL. He managed to make a 13 yr old girl & her inquisitive mother extremely happy while driving them around for 3 hours! Magician!!

If you are a fan, you will love this tour. Our guide, Greg, knew his stuff, and being in the film business he was a wealth of info for a cinephile like me. He made it fun by “testing your knowledge” by seeing if you could guess what the location we visited was used for. I would recommend it!

Julio was an amazing tour guide!! He knew a lot! Even told us a lot about Atlanta and other things that weren’t included. I thought that was very sweet of him. He also knew how to make us feel welcomed and spoke to us the whole time! The sites were incredible. It was just a great birthday experience!

The tour was good, perhaps very good, rather than great. With TWD no longer shooting in Atlanta, there was only so much to see. However, our guide, Francesca, was awesome! She had some personal experience with the film industry and she made the tour fantastic. It was worth the money just to talk with her about movie making. We would do the same tour again.

We went on the 3 hour tour with Chris. His communication was excellent before the tour. He was punctual, friendly and we learnt so much from him about Atlanta as well as The Walking Dead. We saw loads of amazing sites and loved the tour!!! Well worth the money - thank you!!!

Abov and beyond expectations because we learned and saw tons more than just the show. We l armed about the community and managed to apply all that later that day: nice restaurants that local la love, “city “secrets”. Atlanta is an amazing city and the people are the best! Oh and Chris def radiates enthusiasm. Communications were super clear and he showed flexibility and confidence too. Tak this tour if you love walking dead and movies and are new to the city. You’ll feel like a local after. :)

DTours and Viator were very understanding when we were unable to make the tour due to a flight cancellation. Both DTours and Viator responded promptly to our request for a full refund. The next time we are visiting Atlanta, we will try this tour again!

My son is obsessed with the Walking Dead and had begged to do this tour for his birthday gift. Not only was he thrilled with everything included in the city tour, Jerry (our tour guide) told us many historical facts about the city of Atlanta, as well. Highly recommend this tour!!

Mickey and Heather are lovely people and are worth the experience alone the knowledge that Mickey and Heather share are unbelievable and they are really fun people to interact with they provide you with amazing knowledge about the walking dead and Atlanta itself definitely recommended the tour!

We did the walking dead city filming tour, Chris was our tour guide and we couldn’t have been happier! He was on time in a very nice, clean SUV and had water in a cooler for us. Chris is truly an expert on navigating the streets of Atlanta, constantly educating you with amazing facts about each area you are traveling through. He safely stops at each shooting location, shows you the screenshot from filming and then gives you lots of insider information. He also showed us about Marvel shooting locations when we were close to one and it was just so much fun! He is truly an advocate for Atlanta and it was such a wonderful, informative tour! We are already planning our next one. Chris knows the best parking, hottest nightlife, music scene & restaurants so just ask him-you won’t be sorry!

Our tour guide, Chris, was very kind and knowledgeable about the Walking Dead AND Atlanta. He told us all about the different parts of Atlanta and gave us ton of recommendations about places to eat and things to do. This was one of the best things we did while in Atlanta. First of all I am not a Walking Dead fan however my 15 year old daughter and best friend are so I decided to book this tour. Chris (tour guide) exceeded all expectations with all of us. I drove in from Jacksonville FL and was running a little late but he waited patientely at the hotel. The tour was about 3 hours and he covered everything about the show and even bits of other movies filmed in Atlanta. He suggested restaurants and places we should visit while in the city and places to avoid. He was very informative and went on our pace. We felt vey safe with him and would definitely book again. This tour is worth the money!

If you have been watching The Walking Dead since it's start in 2010, you won't want to miss this tour. The sites you will see are so iconic with the show, this should be on your "must see" list. Our tour guide, Mickey was a lot of fun. Being an actor himself, he was a wealth of knowledge for the area and being a fan, knew the sites every fan would want to see. Among some of the locations we saw were Rick's house, Terminus, the CDC and the iconic Atlanta skyline as Rick is heading towards the city on horseback. I loved how this tour company picked us up at our hotel since we didn't know our way around Atlanta. That was such a bonus and much appreciated. Our tour was personal as we were the only ones in the car. We had Mickey to ourselves and we picked his brain about everything Walking Dead and beyond. I hope he didn't mind ;-) If your a true fan of the show, do not miss this tour.

For TWD fans, this tour was a blast. Mickey was a wonderful guide. He did more than just point out a location and tell a story. He immersed us in the way the scene was filmed and showed us the exact camera angles used. There's so much that filmed in Atlanta that there's a bit of a bonus for film buffs since he can point out sites in Atlanta that were used for other films or tv shows that happened to be on journey. Heartily recommend this tour.

Had a great driver, he showed us walking dead and lots of marvel spots. He gave lots of good food recommendations. Just all around great!

Our tour guide Mickey was the greatest! He knew alot not only about Walking Dead but about filming all together. We learned a lot from him and had a great time. I had never seen any episode of TWD (my husband is the fan and why we were doing the tour) but Mickey made sure I knew what each spot we stopped at meant in the show which was very cool. He was the best and very personable!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Chris was so so nice and so personable, he made it very easy to talk and ask questions. He gave us little tidbits of interesting Atlanta things unrelated to TWD but that was absolutely amazing - We've been to Atlanta area for TWD stuff before and hadn't really researched or considered other things in the area, so it was great to get to see other stuff that was on the way to TWD locations, like MLK's house and the cemetery. The tour itself was great, saw all the important and recognizable stuff such as the hospital Rick wakes up in, his house, the CDC, and Terminus. Overall this was an amazing tour and was absolutely worth the price. Would definitely book again!

Chris was great. Very knowledgeable! Did a wonderful job showing us the location then tying it back to the movie with pictures. I highly recommend especially if you don’t know Atlanta.

We were able to see not only filming spots for TWD by Marvel movies and a few others, our driver Chris was very informative and knows the area well. Would definitely recommend the tour for anyone coming to Atlanta.

Our tour guide Chris was outstanding. He showed us sites around Atlanta that were unexpected. We were even able to see a bit of a film in the making. We were able to take our time posing for photos. The Walking Dead locations were cool, my favorite was the hospital and my husband's was the freeway overpass view of the city. The tour was worth every penny, no tourist trap here. The historic sites were also some of my favs. The ride was comfortable and clean. Many thanks Chris for reaching out by text to greet us and make sure we had details of how to meet the next day. That was not expected but classy and much appreciated. Again, thank you and safe travels to all.

Our private tour guide, Dan, was excellent in educating us with all things Walking Dead that were affiliated with the filming sites we visited within the city. As a bonus, en route to some of these sites, he showed us sites that also filmed The Hunger Games. If we ever come visit again and decide to do a tour, we will be sure to ask for Dan!

My husband, daughter and I did the Walking dead private tour on Saturday June 8th. They had gotten tickets for my birthday. This was an excellent tour and our tour guide was wonderful. Even in the pouring rain, he still took time out to show us locations, hop out with us and explain what we were seeing. Added bonus was him included locations for where various movies were filmed. Loved this and highly recommend it for Walking Dead fans. Can't wait to book the Art of Atlanta tour with this company.

Melinda our guide did a great job. Picked us up at our hotel on time, and was a wealth of knowledge about Atlanta which she shared with us as we drove to each TV or Film site. We did the private tour which was well worth the money. We enjoyed this tour so much that we took 2 additional private tours with DTours over the following days.

We had limited time in Atlanta, on our first full day Chris picked us up at our hotel as was prearranged earlier via e-mail then txt. There is no way we could have covered so much of the city and would never have found all these Walking Dead locations. Because we are massive Walking Dead fans Chris gave us much more of our chosen tour and also fit in some Hunger Games spots and many other film references, Marvel etc Chris made a point of using images to illustrate the locations so that we could be exact with the position of our photographs, we saw many iconic film sites, The hospital, Ricks house, Morgans house, the sheriffs office, terminus, the location of the tank, Ricks first scene entering the city, the view of the city from Jackson St Bridge and many more including areas featured in the S9 preview released through comicon only the previous week. He even dropped us off at our chosen location at the end of the tour ensuring we made the most of the small amount of time in Atlanta.
